Kolab found the cold demeanor of the younger old spine-chilling. Until she had been introduced to the girl, Kolab had no idea that Slytherins like Penelope even existed. " Miss Kolab. Kolab Heng. " she responds, pushing up her glasses as she makes a well attempt to make it known that she was the one with the authority here. Though, she was never good with confrontations. " I'll just make sure you wont be able to do so. As head girl it is my responsibility after all. " The shorter girl figured it was a well enough attempt to be assertive.

Once the train came to a halt, Skylar was stood up and ready to leave, his luggage in tow. He was looking forward to getting something to eat at the feast, and then getting some sleep. Even though he'd not really done all that much, sitting on a train for the majority of the day was boring, even with a couple of books (one of which being the very interesting, Flesh-Eating Trees of the World, which was one of his assigned textbooks for the year). He hummed under his breath, glancing around in the large crowd of students. He spotted an adult - one of the doctors for the hospital wing - helping to direct students as to where they should go. He didn't really know too much about the doctor, and hadn't seen him often, apart from when he'd been in the hospital wing for a couple of weeks because he'd come down with a flu-like illness - a result of him getting bitten badly by some plant or another in Herbology. Skylar returned his focus towards finding a carriage, to put his luggage on and to get to the castle with.

"Coming through. Don't touch me," Lee-Jae spoke, raising his voice slightly above the crowd of students as he moved to get off the Hogwarts Express. He was becoming increasingly frustrated, because it seemed that some of the younger students just had to take their time. How annoying. Lee-Jae rolled his eyes, getting stuck behind some slow-walking Second Years. "Ugh..." he muttered, then he raised his voice again, "Out of my way now, please. Some of us actually want to be here." The students moved out of the way quite quickly, and Lee-Jae walked by them quickly, turning around for a brief moment to say, "Thank you. That wasn't too hard, was it?" and he smiled innocently before continuing his walk to the carriages, and finding a surprisingly empty one for him to start filling.

She soared over the lake, seeing little boats full of first years for their traditional boat ride. It was led by Rebeus Hagrid, who was an large old man who had been doing it ever since Harry Potter was here. He was the game keeper. As the carriages flew, they landed swiftly at the Hogwarts front entrance where piles of students filled into the halls.

She waved goodbye to her friends, saying she would meet them at the feast as she hurried along to the carriages. She arrived at the front gates within minutes and excitedly took in her surroundings. Redd hurried along into the crowd of students and blended in, wanting to get a seat in the Great Hall.

“Well, I’m not in your house and I am a prefect so.... I can pretty much do what I want.” Penelope shrugged. Suddenly, a 4th year Ravenclaw girl came running and stepped on her foot. “Hey!” She grabbedbthe girl’s robe and took out her wand. She pointed it to the girl’s face and glared at her. “You’re lucky all these people are here, Ravenclaw. Now get out of my sight...” she said throwing the girl back, who ran away quickly. Penelope made her way to the carriages that flew up into the air.

The shorter female bit back a scowl as she watches the carriages start making their way to exit. Slight panic settling in, she quickly mutters out a " WIngardium leviosa! " as she quickly made her way to a nearby carriage, luggage floating behind her. The small tawny owl gave a slightly distressed hoot in its cage at the sudden jolt of movement as Kolab gave a quiet apology to the avian.
Settling down within a seat, the ravenette shifts her gaze, eyes meeting a dark, silver-lined pair. " Ah! hello. " she gives a slight bow in greeting, " Sorry for the hectic entrance. " the girl pushes up her glasses as she examines the taller male before her. " You seem awfully familiar... Are you on the Quidditch team? " she asks, immediately searching through a mental file cabinet of faces that attended Hogwarts.

He just wished the ride would be quick like it always has been, he hated the ride to Hogwarts aside from being there. He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed before sitting to the side
And like before, waited for the familiar sight of the castle to come up again, watching the horizon around him.

He made sure everyone was off the train before talking to a few students who wanted him to sit with them. He politely declined and said he would be picking out his own carriage.
It seemed to be the same exact carriage Skylar had picked, the student he had remembered for the horrible illness that plagued him. It was an interesting case, but he managed to get him back to perfect health in no time.
"Ah! Guten Abend.." he hummed while putting his suitcase off to the side of him as the carriage seemingly filled with just them before they headed off for the castle.
"I remember you.. you vere ze poor student who got bit last year or two ago, Ja?" he hummed to the other, just trying to be friendly. There really wasn't anyone else to talk to, seeing as he had been the only professor there on the train. He only wanted to spend as much time with his family as possible before heading to work, even if it meant taking the train with the students, something he did not despise much.
"How are you doing now? Are you excited for anozzer year here?"
He leaned forwards a bit and adjusted his glasses a little before leaning back in the carriage

“I’d love to be the Hermoine of the group.” Anna chuckled as she gathered her things and her cat and got in the carriage. Once at the school she followed the crowd of students until she arrived at the Great Hall. She walked towards the Gryffindor table and sat down. This should be a fun year. she thought.

Loki grinned, and nodded. "That would be fun." With a laugh, he stood up. "That trip was quick..." They all filed outside and, waved his farewells. With Domino on his shoulder and Talon in his cage, he headed off to the carriges. After arriving at the feast, he took his seat and waited for the feast to begin.

It was something of a surprise to see the doctor - Kristian Ludwig, if he remember the name correctly - joining his carriage, but it wasn't unwelcome. It was better than sharing with potentially rowdy students. Skylar nodded slightly in response, and greeted the doctor with a quiet, "Hello..." before falling silent to listen to the doctor speak. Somewhat embarrassed, Skylar nodded in confirmation. "I'm fine," he answered, "it had been my fault I got bitten by a somewhat venomous variant of a Fanged Geranium... though I'm looking forward to seeing what I work with this year," he explained. That was something that many students would consider an odd thing about Skylar - he much preferred to treat the plants he worked with in Herbology with kindness, patience and respect, rather than being forceful. Most of the time this method worked and proved to be effective, since the plants seemed to respond better to him, but there were always a few occasions where he'd have to have more of a firm hand.

Now settled into the carriage, all Lee-Jae had to do was wait - an easy enough task. He hoped that there wouldn't be too many students wanting to cram into the carriage, because he would not be able to stand having to be cramped up, even if it was only for a few minutes. It was not long before he was joined by another student - one with a somewhat distressed-looking owl. He raised an eyebrow slightly, glancing towards the student - and his eyes catching sight of the 'Head Girl' badge. "It was certainly... some entrance," he commented, then he laughed quietly as the student seemed to be trying to figure out who he was. "On the Slytherin one, yes," Lee-Jae confirmed.

The smaller girl gave a polite smile as she nods, " Oh no no. I thought you were on the Gryffindor team. " she jokes lightly, eyeing the green robes the male wore, " Lee-Jae, right? You're a pretty good chaser. " Kolab compliments, " Maybe I'll come to one of your games. " The chinese girl shifts her gaze to the thestrals as the carriage takes off into the sky. Though the ravenette couldn't see the creatures themselves ( that she was both disappointed and thankful for ) she saw several illustrations from those who have seen the beasts, and she found them astonishing. "Aren't you excited? " Kolab asks, looking down at the ground below them, " I personally want to make the most out of my last year here. " she states, slightly frowning at the thought of leaving. This was practically the equivalent to senior year at her muggle school, what is she going to do? Give up her wizarding life and live as a muggle? or vice versa? Kolab shakes her head as she smiles, " I wonder what creatures we'll meet in Care of Magical creatures.. I have a thing for animals. " giving a sheepish grin, and as if on cue, Mei - a small siamese-coated rat pokes out of her pocket, sniffing the air around them before realizing they were in the air, resulting in the rodent taking shelter back inside her robe.

He scoffed softly after hearing his apology and shrugging
"No matter.." he said while shaking his head and crossing one leg over the other
"I normally see Herobology und Athletes in on ze norm." he explained
"You two seem to be alvays hurting yourselves.. but its really not surprising."
The German sighed and glanced to the side, feeling that their conversation would be either coming to a pause or a stop soon.. seeing as they were approaching the castle and he didn't know how Skylar would feel about talking more
"Ah I see ve are almost zere. It vas real nice being able to talk to you. If you need anyvon to speak to about anyzing.. I'm alvays up in ze Nurse's vard." he beamed with a smile
"I expect you have unpacking to do, Ja? So do I.. alzough some of my stuff is already in my office." he chuckled
