Kyo was quiet as she studied the state of the castle. She would never have guessed this was the center of the kingdom of Hyrule had she not listened to the stories of the Sheikah elders who served the Royal Family. One hundred years ago, the Calamity reawakened and took control of all four Divine Beasts, as well as the Guardians. With all of that weaponry at the beast's disposal, the Kingdom of Hyrule had been completely and utterly destroyed faster than anyone could have expected. Perhaps the Hylians were right to shun the Sheikah and seal their technology 10,000 years ago. It stung. The technology her people had made to help people, and it was turned against them and used to destroy the thing that all Sheikah vowed to protect. It was the worst kind of insult to her people. As far as she was concerned, he just instigated a war, and she was going to see the Calamity pay for this. And there was that other reason for wanting to incinerate him into a pile of ash, but she didn't want to dwell on it. Dwelling on that wasn't going to do anything. Just as she was about to head back to Kakariko, a large light appeared in the sky, a brilliant trail blazing behind it. It was beautiful, but short lived as the object landed, the impact shaking the earth. There was no telling what it was. Since there was a chance that it was dangerous, Kyo flipped the hood of her sweater back over her hair and secured it before she decided to hastily make her way to the impact site to ascertain the nature of the object.

When Kyo carefully made her over while crouching through the long grass, she could make out a massive golden object with an ethereal glow in a large crater. Her mouth almost hit the dirt behind her mask. She had heard countless tales about them, and even saw one once, but never had she seen a star fragment this big. It was massive. What prompted the creation and descent of such a treasure? Why would the Goddesses send this gem to this decaying world? Perhaps it was a omen of sorts? When Kyo spotted another person nearby the crater, along with a horse, she instinctively crouched further down immediately before being spotted. But no reaction seemed to come. The Hylian, she had deduced, was far too fascinated with the star fragment. Kyo didn't blame her. She was equally fascinated and could barely take her eyes off it. It was such a lovely sight. She'd have to thank the Goddesses for allowing her to witness something so lovely and make them an offering of her specialty rice balls with seafood later. But she had more pressing concerns, like getting a closer look at the star fragment. How was she going to do that with the girl right there? At this rate, morning was going to come and the star would vanish before she could get a proper look at it.
