"hello!!!" she chirped loudly, waving her rather small hand compared to viceversa's. once close enough, she quigly wiped off some sweat on her forhead, still trying to ignore the heat. "im the most well known preformer of canopy kingdom, of course!" she said proudly, a bright smile on her face. "the only, the amazing, the strongest of all of new meridian!" her proud nature was showing up a little too much, but an introduction had to be flawless! it was the first impression after all. "cerebella!" the girl announced with her loud voice, right after this, she regained her composure and changed her expression. "who are you? are you from here? as i seem to be quite lost..." she said in a much more normal tone, it actually was quite sheepish, which was much more different compared to her proud and loud tone.

squigly's frown only grew with the felines words, looking away in a slightly upset way as she really didn't appreciate this, leviathan was infuriated by this, he had never seen someone so oblivious, it was just enraging! "we are no monster! and "zombie" is an incredibly degrading name to call us! what if I called you a good-for-nothing feline! a flea covered stray!" leviathan defended his young host. Who did nothing but to fidget with her sleeves nervously, unsure of what to say in a situation like this. she was curious and rather interested on the cat's cute behavior band way of speaking, but couldn't help but to be hurt by the names, it wasn't like he was wrong, she simply didn't appreciate them, and would rather even called anything else other than a monster.

"well, i can't say exact directions. but the first thing we need to find is shelter and water, next concern is food." he hummed, closing his notebook, holding it close to his chest. "but, I think the first two are much more important. we can survive seventy days without food after all!" he said light-heartedly with a small smile on his pale face.

Lapis remained too hopeful as she awaited an answer, and was greatly saddened to hear he didn't even see it. She visibly got more miserable, but tried to keep herself together. She listened as Wol'f tried to show his condolences, still remaining slightly skeptical. The "demon" sure looked and sounded intimidating, even when trying to offer help. Lapis shook her head in response. "Only thing I want is to be home." she began quietly, anger starting to creep in her tone. Ugh! Who even took her here? Why did this even have to happen? Her angered thoughts quickly melted into ones that realized moping around wouldn't help anything. Even she realized that. Looking back at the demon, she sighed and looked up at the sky. "You can help with one thing. Help me find the barn." the gem muttered quietly, still a little intimidated by him. But, she knew that he wouldn't want to attack right away if he was trying some sort of trick. If he tried anything anyway, she still has some of her flight. She assumed this thing couldn't fly either. Also, it didn't feel as safe to find no water anywhere. It was her main weapon, and having to travel with this thing without an easier way to defend herself wasn't exactly comforting. Maybe she could find some along the way? Taking a cautious step foreword, then two more, the gem finally walked up to him with a subtle shudder. Coming up with a plan, she spoke up once more. "You help me get home, I'll help you get home. We can figure it out." Lapis held out her hand to shake on it. Maybe if he helps her find the barn and a good source of water, she can use it to elevate herself back to Earth! Then, in return, she'll help Wol'f return to his home. Having true intentions, she offered no smile, but rather a hopeful look in her eyes. "Deal?"

Yeah, she did have a point. Where would they even go? Luckily, Stan's internal question was answered by Wilson. Nodding a little, he still didn't feel comfortable taking off his out-at-sea coat. As much as he wanted to just tear it off to make the heat more bearable, his undershirt would certainly make him look much less friendly. He only felt comfortable lounging in that thing around his niece and nephew, since they were family. "Yeah. Food would be nice. Like.. ice cream. Or popsicles.." he mumbled on wistfully, thinking of cold foods to help himself cope with the heat. ".. And water. But where would we find any?" he asked him, judging that he'd know a thing or two about survival. After all, he's alive even though he looked like a walking corpse. Was he trying to survive here for a while? Why else would he look like that? This thought only made him more worried.

SAM WINCHESTER
====================================
male - 24 - supernatural - tags; OPEN

Sam jolted awake, sputtering. He blinked a few times, trying to rid his eyes of a ghastly burning sensation. Sam's gaze whipped around the inside of the dark, crumbling building. A single 'window', rather, a hole in the wall, spilled hot light into the room, gold light glinting off the thousands of floating dust particles. Instinctively, he tried to call out for his older brother, Dean, but the dust caught in his throat and only a cough formed from his dry mouth.

It was so hot.

Sam quickly felt around. A wave of relief washed over him as he realized he had his satchel. He flipped it open and grabbed his water bottle from inside. Crap, Sam thought, as he saw that only two inches of the now-tepid water remained. For a moment, he pondered saving the water for later, but his splitting headache convinced him otherwise. He quickly downed the water and put the empty bottle back into his bag. Looking around for a moment, Sam realized he had no recollection of how he got here... his last memory was of him and his brother on a routine demon hunting trip. Where am I? Standing up, he tried again to yell for his brother, "Dean?!" No response.

Slowly, Sam made his way through the building until he came across another, much larger, door-sized hole in the structure. The bright light blinded him for a moment as he ducked through the exit. "What the-" Sam's voice faltered and trailed off as he gazed at the outside world. For a fleeting moment, Sam thought he was still dreaming, but he quickly corrected himself, When am I ever that lucky? He slowly walked into the sunlight, tense. He was getting nervous. Sam tried again to call for his brother,"DEAN?"

Corby - Raven Skinwalker - Supernatural OC - 26 - Female - Location: The street - Tags: Tooru

Corby let out a startled squawk when a human - or monster, she wasn't sure - burst out of the building she had just escaped from. Her blood dripped onto his head, which succeeded in thoroughly annoying her. Blood was precious! she didn't care if it absorbed into the asphalt, but she didn't want anyone injesting it or harvesting it; it could be used in spells against her. She huffed when he spoke in a language she didn't understand, and lowered herself to the ground to give her tired wings a rest, injured leg held gingerly in the air. This resulted in an awkward flamingo stance, marginally less graceful when preformed by a raven.

The extreme heat had been getting to her, and she was glad she had landed when she did or she was sure she would drop out of the air, not that she was too high up to begin with. This day, in general, did not seem to be going her way. While pondering the possibilities of how she ended up in such a place, Corby narrowed her eyes at the larger being in front of her and gave them a peck on the forehead - just for good measure.

Could she have been summoned here? No, she didn't see any candles or bowels or even people. Although, if she missed this guy, perhaps she missed others. Still, she doubted it. What else could teleport her here? Moreover, what else would want to? She didn't have that many enemies in the supernatural world - sure, maybe a few people didn't particularly like her or were annoyed with her, but no one with such a large grudge that they would send her someplace like this.

Pushing her thoughts away to be dealt with at another time, Corby considered the being before her. Should I reveal I can talk? It would be an advantage to catch him off guard if he was a danger to her, but she would also like to be able to communicate with someone without them thinking she was simply a dumb bird. Even if he couldn't understand her, he would at least be able to tell she was speaking in constructed sentences. Ah, what the heck, she threw caution to the wind.

"Listen buddy, no comprendo. My vocabulary is limited to that of the English variety," her beak and tongue formed the raspy words. While she talked she eyed the little drop of blood in his white hair. She could easily pluck it out when he wasn't looking right? Right. But his hands were right there and he could easily grab her at the moment, best to distract him first.

      genji- tag; gastly
As the strange ball of gas began to explain what he was exactly (an extremely toxic gas), the cyborg hesitated and stepped back slightly. While his body may have majorly been mechanical, he could still be poisoned; like with Widowmaker’s venom mine, and he did not exactly wish to die yet again, especially not here where Doctor Angela Ziegler could not come to his aid and heal him. “Remind me to...keep my distance.” He was unsure, it was obvious in his tone of voice, and he was quite clearly weary as well.

“Was I also shunned?” Genji repeated the question, flinching and falling silent momentarily, even considering not speaking again at all and avoiding the question altogether...but Gastly seemed to be the type of, well, thing to pry for information. “People do not like me for I am half machine. Many feel that omnics cannot be trusted, and so do not trust me either.”

      zenyatta- tag; sam
The hovering omnic had been exploring for quite a while, observing the rundown town in hopes of locating anything that would help him get back to his home, checking each flyer that came his way on the wind, or looking at every billboard he passed, hoping to find a different message but it was always the same. The eerie atmosphere certainly made the monk unsure and quite uncomfortable. Where was this place? There was no information, anything that could offer any written explanation was constantly that message. Other than that, there was no writing, it seemed which prompted the floating robot to sigh softly, quite bothered by the fact that he was absolutely, completely clueless.

Zenyatta was silent as he explored the foreign area, after all, he had no footsteps. However, he eventually began to hum softly to himself to pass the time, exploring a deteriorating city was quite boring for the omnic, he may meditate a lot but at least that had a purpose. Here he was almost aimlessly wandering since he didn't really know where he was going, but he hoped he could come across somebody that could offer him some help. Thankfully for him, the heat didn't bother him as much, allowing him to continue moving quite peacefully through the town until he heard a voice which sounded like it wasn’t too far away. Attention officially grabbed by the calling of a name ‘Dean’, Zenyatta approached the area which the voice game from, seeing a tall man - even taller than the hovering omnic - not too far away.

“Greetings!” He called with a robotic albeit friendly voice, raising a hand in greeting and a way to grab the other’s attention. “I suppose you are as lost as me?”

Jotora Kujo | 5 (18, essentially) | Male | X | Tags; Squigly + Leviathan
His sound is one of indignation, a sound somewhere between a 'hmmph' and a growl that accompanies the pitter-patter and scratching as he climbs upon the back of his Jagras, Star Purratinum, which, until this point, had been flicking its tongue at various rocks and pieces of paper on the ground, likely out of curiosity. Standing upon its back isn't the brightest ideas, do in part to the slick nature of its scales and how difficult getting purchase on such a surface is, but it does bring Jotora's eyeline a bit closer to Leviathan's own, which is all that really matters to him. He hated being looked down upon, in both literal and figurative senses. If anything, he views this as a perfect opportunity to try a line he had been waiting ages to use...

"I, Kujo Jotora, have always been labeled as a paw-nk. I got a bit rough with my last Meowster - so much so he's still with the healers! I make a point of not paying when the Canteen's food is bad. I wear insults like those with purr-ide!" of course, none of what he said was true: Jotora had only ever had one master, and the two were as close as two kittens in a litter - even in Jotora's worst tempers he would never lay a paw on him in an act of anger. It was also this same master who paid for all of their visits to the Canteen before hunts, so even if he had wanted to storm out without paying in some sort of juvenile act of rebellion, it would've been impossible.

Crossing his arms and turning his back to the two, Jotora takes a seat on the back of his Jagras before he can ruin the moment with a poorly timed slip. While it was true that the quadrupedal cats the Felynes and Melynxes so resembled had an impeccable sense of balance and a near supernatural capability of seemingly always landing on their feet, the aforementioned bipedal species lacked such traits, contrary to common belief. An over the shoulder glance lets him observe the two without outright staring - he always found staring to be a bit too close of a thing to do, as though it might somehow wreck his cool and aloof persona. Regardless, even he had to admit that she didn't seem like a killer zombie. Young girls with their hair pulled up were almost never evil in his books! It was unheard of. So, with a huff that he forces to come across as one of irritation, Jotora concedes defeat on the matter in the roundabout way of a ""cool guy"".

"Nyare nyare daze... I can't beat up a little girl. I guess you'll just have to lead me to some real meow-nsters."

Tooru Mutsuki | 21 | Male |X| Tags; Corby
(Note: underlined = Japanese)
It wasn't often that a raven would willingly approach a human - from what Tooru understood, it was considered lucky in some places. Why exactly it was lucky had persistently evaded his attempts at understanding, but, in this case, he wanted to believe that, for just one moment in his life, he was going to get just a little bit of luck. He knew it was foolish to believe in some things and would just lead to disappointment, but he wanted it so badly to be true that he simply allowed himself to indulge in the thought, crouching down to get a better look at the raven and it's funny pose, offering it a habitually nervous smile.

"Karasu-kun, your pose is very si-" it was at that moment that the raven chose to peck him, both shattering Tooru's newfound luck and causing him to leap back and up in one fell swoop. The only injury was to his mood - a mere peck wouldn't break the skin of a ghoul - though a brief moment where he attempted to rub the wound reminded him that, yes, his right arm was still broken, bringing a hiss to his lips. It was taking much, much longer to heal than normal... How long had it been since he had eaten properly? Any more concerns on the topic are brushed away when the Raven speaks, Tooru giving it his full attention. 'Am I hallucinating...?' What was the technique for auditory hallucinations...? Something about plugging your ears, and if you hear it just as clearly it was fake... He didn't have anything to lose here - if it weren't fake his heightened senses would mean he could still hear it ( Or was it a her? The raven sounded feminine, but he didn't want to assume.), but if it were he would know right away. With his left hand over the corresponding ear, Tooru pauses for a moment to think on what to say. Of all things, it had to be English... Like most people, he could speak the language, but he still found it to be a bit of a hassle, as any foreign language would be.

"You can speak... Are you..." he struggles to think of a proper word for a moment... What exactly would a talking bird be? It certainly wouldn't be a Ghoul, that much he could confirm. After a brief pause he finally settles on one he thinks might work - "... experiment?"

8E looked to her two companions, and then to her left, past the buildings. both of their concerns about food and water didn't concern her, being an android. but they still needed to find the resources for them, since they were human. wilson's earlier comment about not eating for seven days certainly piqued 8E interested. even though humanity was extinct in her world, she couldn't deny that she was sometimes...curious about their behaviors.
but 8E pushed the thought to the back of her mind as she continued to stare out past the buildings. if there wasn't anything in the city (as far as 8E could see) what about past the city, in the outskirts? this city couldn't be endless, there had to be an exit to these ruined area. of course, there was the unknown possibilities of what was outside the city, but given the situation, 8E was willing to take her chances.
"say, what if we searched the outside of the city for resources?," 8E asked. "if we can find nothing here, the city outskirts could be our second best option."

Corby - Raven Skinwalker - Supernatural OC - 26 - Female - Location: The street - Tags: Tooru

Corby eyed the human's broken arm, taking note of it. If and when she chose to pluck the blood off of his head, she supposed the strategically best place would be from that side. She wasn't exactly sure what to make of him, however. He seemed a bit shy, but you could never be too sure with foreign bipedals you meet when escaping from collapsing buildings. Her feathers puffed in amusement when he dejectedly rubbed his forehead, but she was a bit confused when he pressed his hand to his ear. If she had eyebrows, they would most certainly be raised.

"What, you've never seen a talking raven?" the mischievous grin was evident in her voice. It wasn't the first time someone had assumed her to be a freaky science experiment - and to be fair, it was a rather reasonable assumption to one not acquainted with the supernatural. In her head, Corby labeled the being before her as 'human.' "Ya know, 'Nevermore! Nevermore!'"

She flapped her wings dramatically to go along with the higher pitch of voice. She wasn't, of course, going to give away the fact that she was a skinwalker. She had no interest in reverting to her human form.

"The name's Corby, your friendly-neighborhood-exceptionally-intelligent-raven," she mock bowed, though the effect was ruined when she almost went crashing down due to her injured leg. She righted herself and continued as if it had never happened, "And who might you be?"

"I doubt we'll have to do that. seems like theres plants growing here, meaning that there must be some source of water, there can't be any vegetation without it after all. I would recommend sticking around town in search of any fauna, as that would just confirm the existence of a pocket of water." he commented, trying to remember some more of his knowledge on the topic. "as enticing as exploring may sound, we shouldn't waste our energy. or, at least until we find water at least, dehydration is something that is very common if we're not careful" he shuddered a bit as he spoke from experience.

An alliance? Of course, of course! Every protagonist had their own little group, and this, from the looks of it, would be the very start of his! Now that he thought about it, perhaps, just maybe, she could substitute as a Kakyoin for their own Stardust Crusaders? They both had snake like 'companions and.... Hmm, no, actually, now that he thought on it more, that was really the only similarity between the girl before him and Kakyoin, unfortunately. Perhaps it was for the best - seeing weird tongue tricks in person wasn't something he exactly wanted to experience.
.... not that she could do tongue tricks, since, now that he looked closer, it looked like her mouth was stitched closed. How did she talk...? She certainly couldn't eat brains like that. Now he just felt a bit foolish, accusing her of being a skull crunching monster. Oh well, every good hero had their slips, and this was just his first - and last, his brain helpfully added - slip.

"Fine, fine, I accept your paw-fur." with a casual wave of the paw he turns back around to face the two, casually dangling his legs over the back of his lizard mount. Resting his head in one of his paws and that elbow against his knee, Jotora holds up two fingers on his other hand. "Two things fur-st! One -" one finger gets folded down as he continues on... "I need to know your name. And two-" then again back to two fingers, both claws drawn. "We need a cool group name." Milling over possible ideas, Jotora twirls his whiskers with his free paw. Meownster Hunters was a bit worn out, sadly, so his go to name had already stricken out.

Tooru Mutsuki | 21 | Male |X| Tags; Corby
As he listens to the raven speak, one thing becomes clear to Tooru - this wasn't a hallucination. Her voice came across to him as a bit muffled with his ear covered and went straight back to being crystal clear once he dropped the hand in question, instead carefully looking her over with his single visible eye, a slight frown crossing his face. "You're real. This... I'm not hallucinating?" Somehow, Tooru had been tossed into a seemingly apocalyptic land where talking ravens are at least present and, possibly, common. Were there other talking animals? Did they all reference Queen (Nevermore was a Queen song, Tooru was at least sure of that - what other context was there for 'Nevermore'?)..? It was a confusing line of thought, one that prompted a huff and a hand ran through the hair. Of course, given the situation, Tooru had completely forgotten about the drop of blood in his hair, accidentally smearing it through his white locks and, once he feels the wet, sticky feeling on his hand, earns a gag as he hastily tries to wipe the blood off on his jacket. He felt entirely awkward and out of place at the moment, between the strange mannered raven, the foreign language, and now his own awkward blunder. What was the proper American response for a bow? Did you bow back...? That seemed like it was probably the right thing for him to do... It was basically a weird handshake, right? Not that Tooru enjoyed handshakes either, but that wasn't the issue at the moment.

"Ah, I'm... Tooru Mutsuki." there's a brief pause before he actually says his name, during which he used his own awkward and rather stiff bow to buy himself some time. Americans said their given name first and surname second, right? It was so odd, to him - given names were a personal thing, not something everyone just calls you by. "Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator, Quinx Squad." While he sounds off the title, Tooru busies his hands with wringing his shirt, a way to ease his own mind. In truth, Tooru hadn't been with the CCG for... How long had it been? A few months, perhaps? It wasn't the most pleasant of partings, so he preferred not to dwell on it or, really, mention it at all. Having others think he was aligned with the CCG offered him some protections, primarily when it came to Ghouls. No Ghoul wanted to be anywhere near a 'Dove', lest they and their family in kind become a part of the "quota".
