Mythra ~ Pyra
~ The Aegis ~ 500+ years ~ Location; Cliff ~ Tags; Gold
Mythra let a small smile appear on her face as she watched Pibu cram all the berries into his mouth. It was quite adorable, and Mythra now understood why Pyra was so fond of the little guy. Pyra was worried about him at first, but she figured Pibu could tell if the berries were safe or not. Mythra, on the other hand, was still skeptical of the berries. She wasn't sure about these things yet. If it was safe for humans, the same couldn't be said for a Blade. Humans and Blades had an entirely different biology from the other, so who knew what it was going to do to her. Despite her hunger, she wasn't going to try one of those berries. She doubted Gold would be so stupid to...
"You didn't..." Mythra muttered under her breath. He had just said earlier that just because it was safe for Pokémon, that didn't mean it was safe for humans. Or Blades. As dumb as it was to eat them without knowing if they were safe or not, Mythra decided she could learn something useful about the berries from what effect they would have on Gold. Mythra was surprised to see Gold offer her a berry, and she had considered taking it when she heard his comment. She blankly stared at the berry in silence for some moments. Mythra! I know what he said was rude, but don't even think of throwing things at him! Uh, Mythra..? Mythra! She ignored her sister's voice ringing out in her head as she slowly stood up. "Idiot..." With the simple gesture of closing her hand around an invisible weapon, her white sword appeared in her hand in a golden light. "You won't live to see what that berry is going to do to you..." The sword came to life as it unsheathed, surrounded by golden energy and illuminating the area around the Aegis. ..Why do I even try?
Otome / Agent Eight ~ Octoling ~ 16
Location; Beach ~ Tags; Zenyatta, Fumihiro
"Both, of course!" Otome figured he was probably slapping himself right now for asking such a question, but she didn't want to make it worse for him. "There's a better chance of residents knowing something about what's going on, and we can definitely learn something about humans, to boot. It's a win-win situation." The village and docks she had spotted from a distance were now closer, and she could make out a couple boats from here. She wanted to super jump over, since it would be quicker, but Zenyatta wasn't that fast, and she didn't want to leave him behind. It wasn't fair to the Omnic to just leave him behind like that. Besides, she still had more questions for him about humans, and she'd never get any answers if she just ditched him.
"I'd be happy to answer questions about Octolings and Inklings. But I wanna ask some questions about humans in turn." Otome figured this would be her only chance to speak with humans and a robot who knew all about their culture and visit a village. It was even better that Hiro was here too. It was nice to have a friend tag along, and she wouldn't want anyone to miss out on an experience like this. "I can already make out the village from here. It's nowhere near as big as Inkopolis, but it still must have quite a few residents... I wonder what those humans do for a living." Otome curled one of her tentacles around her finger before letting go of it and watching it spring back into position out of the corner of her eye. She was getting impatient to arrive in the village, and it was starting to show through the repetitive motion of twirling her tentacle hair.
