-- Pearl | Location: Beach | Tagged: Angela and Reinhardt (nearby) --
As Pearl gradually awoke, she was greeted by a breeze, carrying with it the scent of the sea. What--... What the heck...? When she opened her eyes, she had to squint, as she was lying on her back with nothing to shelter her face from the sun. Pushing herself up into a sitting position, she took a quick look around. She remembered falling asleep at Marina's house, where she and Otome had been invited after Off the Hook had finished an electrifying concert that evening. The three had been watching movies and munching on squid rings, and by the time it was all over, it was late enough to simply spend the night. Now she found herself on a strange beach, with no indication of how she even got there. Where am I? ... Is this some kinda joke? Just then, she recalled her dream. She had met a strange child--who appeared to be human--on a beach exactly like this one... almost. The beach in her dream felt perfectly pleasant; the one she had awoken to find had a more unsettling atmosphere.

Just then, another troubling thought entered Pearl's mind: where was Marina? Did she somehow end up being brought here as well? Pearl couldn't see any sign of her from where she was at the moment... What if something had happened to her? On that note, what about Otome? Now driven by an urgent need to find the others and make sure they were alright, Pearl sprung to her feet. Just before she could begin searching, however, something sitting in the sand nearby caught her attention: something black with touches of gold, gleaming in the sunlight. Quickly, she scurried over to investigate, and found a set of Enperry Splat Dualies just sitting on the beach. Wait, how'd those get--... Never mind. There's somethin' up with this place; I can feel it. I should just take 'em and not waste any more time wondering about stuff, she thought to herself, quickly reaching down and grabbing the weapons, then giving them a brief dusting-off. Finally, she began quickly moving along the shore in search of her friends. "Marinaaa? Otomeee?" She called out their names over and over as she moved along, the tension in her squeaky voice building up more the longer she went without hearing a response. "Marinaaa...?! Otomeee...?!"

After some time, Pearl eventually stopped in place, then took a deep breath in preparation for a particularly loud call. "MARIIIIINAAAAAAAAAA?!" she called out at an absolutely deafening volume, clenching her eyes tightly shut as she did. She was so preoccupied with her search that she didn't notice the two figures drawing closer and closer to her location.

(EDIT: The "backstory" stuff here used to be different before Otome's RPer and I combined ideas and came up with the "movie night sleepover after a concert" thing~)

        beatrice ivers • seventeen • skinwalker • tag; blue

        When her smile was met with silence, Beatrice hesitated momentarily and began to assume she had said something wrong and offended him somehow. She wasn’t sure how he would react to her deciding she would protect him in return especially since she had previously claimed that she was harmless and thus implying she was defenceless too - would he think it foolish that she wanted to protect him too? Of course, being harmless was a lie and she had already helped Blue but that was as a dog, and she was still determined to keep that hidden...unless she mentioned it and said that it was something normal, something that all humans could do. It wasn’t like he could argue about it and it wasn’t like the Inkling had met a human before Beatrice. Could she possibly get away with it? It also meant he probably wasn’t going to have to worry about her if he knew that she was the dog since she clearly showed that she could fight.

        Before she could decide what she wanted to do, Blue finally spoke up and didn’t argue against Beatrice protecting him but he also wasn’t looking at her and seemed to be avoiding eye contact. ”Make sure you don’t do anything stupid either. Trying to fight those monsters alone was a pretty stupid idea, it's just lucky that you didn’t get yourself hurt.” She wanted to mention the cut on his leg, but realised there wasn’t any need to; he had mentioned being able to heal quickly, right? Even if he could heal quickly, the skinwalker was going to worry about him, "Hopefully we can just avoid the monsters from now on."

        alistair theirin • twenty • human • tag; makoto

        A dream. He was dreaming. The fact that it was not a nightmare already bothered Alistair; he was so used to the darkspawn taint in his blood, the nightmares of the archdemon were constant and they came night after night to the point where the Grey Warden almost became numb to them or ended up having poor night's sleep. He spoke of his nightmares before until Duncan explained that they came with being a Grey Warden. Would have been nice to get a warning before he drank some darkspawn blood but hey, he could handle the nightmares (or he at least told himself he could handle them). The dream was of an unfamiliar place which seemed like pure paradise unlike the blight that Alistair was currently fighting against so it did not take much to convince him to want to stay in the Paradise.

        Waking up somewhere unfamiliar wasn’t a situation that Alistair was expecting to find himself in, he usually knew where he was going to wake up. Where did he fall asleep, though? It took a few minutes for the man to realise the events prior to his dreams of paradise. ”Maker’s breath…” His eyes scanned the surroundings once he climbed to his feet, surely he couldn’t be dead, right? This didn’t seem like the Fade either, although, Alistair had never been in the Fade so how would he know for sure? Pinching himself to be sure (and quickly regretting that) Alistair wasn’t dead. Hopefully. But if he wasn’t dead, where was everyone else? This wasn’t the tower...what happened at the tower? He helped light the beacon but then...they were overrun. ”No, no, that can’t...that can’t be right.” He frowned thoughtfully, trying to make sense of the situation but before he could do that he heard a voice.

        Hello? Is anyone here? They didn’t sound familiar to the Warden but at least it was a start. Collecting his shield and sword from the ground, Alistair looked around in search of the source of the call. ”Hey, er, I’m here!” He responded, just so the person knew he was around so they wouldn’t walk off somewhere else. After a few moments of scanning the area, Alistair finally noticed a figure and began to approach.

        genji shimada • thirty-five • cyborg • tag; mechanica, peter, wade

        "Nē, kanojo wa ishiki-tekina hitodesu, kanojo wa kanojo no jinsei o ikite kudasai." Genji instantly turned his head to look at Deadpool, visibly confused when he realised that it was, in fact, the man in the red suit that had spoken Japanese. The cyborg didn’t think he was able to speak the language, however, it seemed he was being proven wrong - it wasn’t exactly a bad thing, though, it was just rather strange and unexpected. ”If I allow her to be reckless and childish, it will not end well for anybody. You are lucky that you are able to regenerate your limbs, Deadpool.” He responded after breathing out a soft sigh, ”Do not be a bad influence, please? She is difficult enough.” The ninja continued, resting a hand against Soba while his head was turned to face Deadpool. Then the girl responded and spoke about the sport she had previously mentioned that revolved around a gift to do with arms. So they had stretchy arms? That was a strange thing to try and imagine for the ninja as he knew nobody with stretchy arms - the only person who seemed to come to mind was the Talon leader: Doomfist. Doomfist did not have stretchy arms of course, but he still had the Doomfist Gauntlet so you could argue that his power revolved around one of his arms but he just didn’t use it for sport, he used it for crimes. That was unsurprising, though, the user of the gauntlet before Akande was also a member of Talon.

        ”Your ARMS sport certainly sounds...interesting,” Genji commented warmly, amused by the enthusiasm that the girl showed when speaking of the sport she clearly was quite a fan of, ”Although I am happy with simply sticking to arcade games, not arm sports.” He chuckled before turning to look at the suit once it was fully upright and later shifting his attention over to the other teenager once he mentioned his own suits. Considering the suit was fully up for the girl now and it seemed like she had recovered from fainting earlier, the cyborg ninja decided to address the whole unlikely group, ”Perhaps it is best to search for civilisation or shelter?” He suggested, turning to look at the group and then gesturing upwards to the overcast sky, ”The weather may not be so kind to us if we are stood out in the open with nowhere to stay and if we find civilisation we can learn where this place is and how to get home.”

Blue [18] || Makoto [2]

    So she fired his own words back at him. He should have expected it. Even though she was a human she was a lot like Orange in many ways. It was kind of refreshing, though she wasn't as mean as his friend back home was. He knew she always meant well but sometimes it was too much for him to handle especially with all the hidden problems he kept bottled up. That was where Beatrice seemingly was different than his friend back home. Then again it might be too early to decide that. "Yeah, yeah. I won't do anything stupid," he agreed with an exaggerated sigh. It was clear that he hadn't thought that his plan had been stupid, but he wouldn't voice it. Sure it was reckless, but reckless didn't always equal stupid. If that were the case than half the things he had done to fight the Octarian army would be considered stupid. Becoming an agent itself would fall into that category as well. It was a reckless decision that he had made yet he didn't regret it. Maybe it would have allowed him to avoid all the hardships it had cased, but someone had to step up and take the role. Pushing it from his mind, Blue's eyes finally moved back to Beatrice though his face still had a hint of his blush on it. Offering her a toothy grin, he was glad they could come to an agreement, though he wasn't sure if he'd be able to hold up his end all that easily. "And I didn't come away completely uninjured. I probably should tend to this wound before we go anywhere."

    Without much of a thought, Blue reached for his weapon and made a small puddle of ink. Dropping his weapon momentarily, the Inkling transformed as he dove toward the ink. Instantly he vanished into the blue puddle and for a moment nothing seemed to happen. He didn't stay submerged for long though. Exiting the ink, he slowly returned to his Inkling form and took a seat on the ground with his legs out in front of him to check to make sure the wound was healed. As he had hoped it was no longer there. It was as if he hadn't even been injured to begin with. "Random question, but I'm guessing ink doesn't heal you, right?" His gaze moved to his companion curious as to what her answer might be. Humans didn't seem like a species that would benefit from ink especially if they didn't create their own like he did. They were completely unknown creatures to him anyways.

      17 Male Danganronpa Tagged: Alistair

    It was only a moment of silence before he heard a voice in response to his call and he froze in place. He wasn't alone. Someone else was present. From the sounds of it, it was another male. His voice was much different than those he had heard of the course of his time trapped within Hope's Peak. Actually, it sounded like it might have an accent of sorts. That was beside the point. Focusing on such a minor detail was useless and he of all people should have known that by now. Then again, minor things had proven to be quite useless during the class trials. Yet again his mind was getting off track. Giving his head a quick shake, Makoto brought himself back to reality and he lifted his gaze in the direction the voice had come from. His mind was racing as he did. Who was here? Could it be someone of this place? He wasn't even sure. There were far too many possibilities. Far too many for his mind to wrap around. It had become a habit by now. Spending so much time with Kyoko had caused him to begin thinking of how many different possibilities and outcomes there could be in a situation.

    Before he could even get his mind straight though, the sight of a much taller male came into view. That wasn't the worst part. It was clear that the man was armed. The sword made that evident immediately and caused Makoto to take a slight step backwards. This wasn't the first time he had seen a sword. Actually, it brought back memories of the first murder in the killing game. As if he needed to be reminded of such. He couldn't let such things get to him. Swallowing down his own fear, the teen tried to compose himself and convince himself that he was in no immediate danger. Even if this man had a sword it didn't mean he'd use it against him. He had to believe he was safe. Glancing down at his trembling hands, Makoto quickly tucked them into the pockets of his sweatshirt before returning his eyes to Alistair. A forced smile formed on the boy's lips showing he was trying, but it was completely obvious that he was nervous. Kyoko had always told him he was rather emotional and rather bad at hiding his emotions.

    "H-hey! Are you from this place?" he called out. Unlike his obvious nervous appearance, his voice was surprisingly calm. He figured it was because of all the trials he had gone through, but even then he had had his moments of losing his cool and becoming nervous especially when things were turned and pointed at him. That didn't matter now though. Even if his body wanted to show obvious signs of fear, he knew his voice couldn't waver. He had to prove to himself that one armored man wasn't going to frighten him and force him to worry.

mirath lotr elf somewhere in the forest with cassian
───────────────────────────

    "I might like causing mischief, but I'm not stupid." Mirath spoke in a low tone, carefully watching the woman. The winged idiot obviously held little regard for his life; that, or he was completely useless at reading body language. The woman he called Feyre was growing more aggressive, and Cassian was still rambling on about useless things.

    By the time Feyre was conjuring a fireball in her palm, Mirath was pulling himself into the lower branches of the nearest tree. He settled in a few of the higher limbs, poised to leap from his perch should the flames spread to the trunk. If Cassian was intent on gaining the woman's attention, at least he could provide the elf with some entertainment. It certainly wasn't his fight, Mirath knew that for sure; for now, he was content with watching the show. A smirk curled the ends of Mirath's lips as Cassian fluttered away from the thrown fireball like a giant startled chicken.

markus d:bh somewhere in the forest with flash/venom
───────────────────────────

    "I'm Markus." The android introduced himself, debating whether or not to extend a hand like a pop-up in his vision was prompting him to. He decided against it, ushering away the annoying prompt; he didn't think the human would appreciate a cold, wet hand anyway. "Do you know where we are, Flash?" He gazed around at the unending forest. It was a stark difference to the steel and chrome he was used to. "I—I'm not familiar with any place like this." 'My GPS isn't picking up a signal,' he'd nearly said; however, it was better if the human didn't figure out he was an android. At least not until Markus could determine if he was hostile towards his people or not.

    The lack of a geographical connection was... disturbing, to say the least. In Detroit, there had always been something to connect to, even if it had been a local hotspot given off by another android. Here—wherever here was—there was nothing. There weren't even any electrical appliances to hack. From what Markus could gather, he was quite literally in the middle of nowhere. There weren't many forests—much less such ancient and dense ones—left in the world; narrowing down his geographical location wasn't going to be easy.

    The villagers were not as friendly as Aqua had hoped. At least one of the villagers were pointing a bow and arrow at them. Looking at Rin as he tried to reason with them, Aqua put up her hands as well. "We come in peace!" she announced, loudly. Her tone was firm but non-threatening, with an air of sincerity in those words. Aqua certainly did not want to cause any trouble with the natives of this place- especially since their goal was to help this place. "We only want to help this place," she continued, with a small frown. "We're aware that there is something threatening this place, and we only want to help drive off whatever it is. But like my comrade said, we're not from this place, so we need to find answers first before we could do anything." She tried to make her tone as persuasive as she could. It seemed that their voices had attracted more attention, as some natives started poking their heads out of the windows of their houses and were staring at them with something like a mixture of fear and curiosity. Aqua could understand why they were wary. They had those dark creatures invade their world, after all, so they would naturally be wary of outsiders. Even if, Aqua hoped, they didn't look anything like the dark creatures threatening this place. The man who had aimed an arrow at them had relaxed the tension in the string of his bow, yet he did not lower the bow just yet. It seemed that these natives understood their language, for which Aqua was glad. It would be hard to converse with them if they didn't speak the same language, after all. "We ran into some of those dark creatures earlier, and fought them. We saw how your world could've been if whatever is threatening this world was gone," Aqua added, choosing her words carefully. If she offended them, things might go bad. "We just want to help make your home safe again, but we can't do that if we don't know anything. So, please, we need your cooperation." The natives started mumuring among themselves. From what Aqua could hear, evidently, their native language was different. It was something Aqua did not understand, despite her various knowledge gained from exploring multiple worlds.

    Some of the villagers had come out from their huts, staring at them. As Aqua studied these humanoid figures, she noticed how all of them had a weapon of some sort- ranging from small daggers to a spear. Even the women were armed, though Aqua did not find anything wrong with it being an armed woman fighter herself. Still, the sight of all these people with weapons made her feel like there was really something bad going on in this world. Normal civilizations needed only a team of guards or soldiers to keep it from harm, but this village? All of them looked like they were trained to fight. Had things escalated so much to the point that everyone had to know how to fight for their lives to keep this village safe? It was all the more reason Aqua wanted to help them. Finally, a man boldly walked up to them, a spear by his side. Aqua had started to think they were going to be stuck at this for hours, so the sight of some progress made her relieved. "Our chief would know what to do with you," he said, loud enough for the other villagers to hear. "If what you are saying is true, then he can tell you some things. Otherwise... we'll let him be the judge." The man let his gaze shift from Aqua to Rin. A stern frown was still on his face. "No tricks. Or else," he said to both her and Rin. The man angled his spearhead slightly towards them as if to make a point, before turning around. He then gave a cock of his head, as if to motion for them to follow him.

    The man seemed to be very sure of himself that they weren't going to die here. Or perhaps he was just saying that to disguise any fear he might have of the prospect of finding their doom in this place. Wendy, having come from a much worse place filled with all sorts of terror that could easily snuff out her fragile little light of life, couldn't be as sure as the man. After all, some threats were coated in beauty. Beautiful animals could very well have enough toxins to kill a person. Wendy's pale face merely shifted slightly into a confused frown when he said that the same thing happened to him as well. So, did they both have the same exact dream? Was there some sort of higher power behind this, summoning them to this place for reasons unknown? It was certainly plausible. Though before she could think a lot about it, her train of thought was disturbed by the man's next sentence. "Lighten up? What would be the use of such an action?" she said, with a small sigh. That was when she realized that the man had trailed off a little at the end- a gesture usually done by people who wanted to know the name of the person they were conversing with. "Ah, also, my name is Wendy," she introduced herself. Falling silent for a while, she let her pale gaze find its way to the line of trees in the distance. A forest near the shore. That should have a lot of supplies. Perhaps she could try to find something to make a makeshift axe with, then gather some firewood for the night? Wendy turned her attention back to the man. "Anyways, what are you planning to do about this situation, sir?" she asked. "Are you going to find a way back to... wherever you came from?"

    Looking at the three others, chitin huffed faintly, raising a hand. "One, rude. Tin is an inferior metal and not what they are called its iron man. Two, chitin would like to suggest some kind of holographic system of some kind. Would make better since because holograms can hurt. and three, if illusions aren't possible, then what chitin did not to long ago when getting flung wouldn't be possible either. Not to mention, there is a thing called Magic which deals in illusions." Chitin chided near instantly, making a slight hand gesture when they stated 'magic', like a sort of jazz hands motion almost as he looked at them.

Wade Willson || Deadpool || Mutant || Health 100% || Chaotic nuetral || Nuetral || Forest || mechanica, peter, genji

    Deadpool shrugged a bit, rubbing at his shoulder a bit when genji commented about why soba /shouldn't/ live how they wanted then commented on his arm. "What can i say, super advanced healing factor for the win. I literally can't die. I've had my head blown of before and came back. I have the scar to prove it, not that you'd be able to tell. But hey, i can't make any promises if she seems to like me enough to be influenced." He mused with a shrug which soon turned into a pair of playful finger guns towards he massive spirit dragon.

    He then listened to the girl go on about this arm sport thing. She seemed pretty excited about it not to mention genji's suggestion in finding shelter. Thus his attention went back to the suit, Yellow and white had been blabbering before hand so he never did hear if the suit was functional or not. "Hey, what ever helps ya know? Long as they let you play and you love the sport. So.... Is you're suit good? Like, it doesn't need any repairs or anything does it? I mean, i might have a few things in my pouch but i can't promise anything to helpful." Deadpool questioned, even if his hands were already going to one of the two larger pouches on his belt to dig through them, see what he could come up with. It was near comicality how he was literally elbow deep within such a tiny pouch.

Wilheim Reinhardt || The german Crusader || Human || Health - 95% || Lawful good || curious || Angela - pearl

    Reinhardt shrugged a bit. "I'm surprised a place like this even exists. That's the only reason why i agreed. Because a place like this should only exist were we encountered it! In our dreams!" He answered with a shrug of his shoulders as he followed the younger medic towards the beach area. His attention shifting to the sound of shouting and thus he looked to Angela with a raised brow. "Seems there are others, but the voice is definitely not familiar. Let us proceed with caution shall we?" He stated before moving to step ahead of angela so to see the strange young girl walking the beach shouting. She must not know of the odd beasts in the area, otherwise she'd know not to shout.

Eudisone "Flash" Thompson & Venom || Human - Kyntar ||Health: 100% & 100% || Nuetral || F: relaxed V: Bored || markus

    "I'm not to sure either. Doesn't look like anything i've seen either. This might be an actual jungle or forest or what ever." Flash responded as he looked around, listening to the chirping birds and other sounds of wildlife at the moment, venom rumbling softly. "The scents aren't familiar either. Meaning this is not a mainland area as far as we can tell. This one doesn't smell like a human either. Smells like metal and artifical fluids." The alien symbiote informed privately. "We might of somehow been brought to an island if neither of us are recognizing it." Flash suggested before registering the rest of venom's information. Oh wow, they were so far away from actual artifical intellegence. So this was definitely something.

"The use of such an action would be to not only make yourself happier, but me too. Look, I don't know you, but I do know that being depressed sucks for anyone. And you being all morbid like that, surely ain't fun for you. So just, it'll make a little better for you. You never know, you might see the positives instead of the negatives after a while of practise." Gabriel offered, shrugging a little at the lack of a better explaination.
"Wendy, huh? Well Wendy, I'm Gabriel, and it's a pleasure to meet you." He said offering Wendy a smile and an outstretched hand for a hand shake.
The next question asked, caught Gabriel off guard. What was he planning on doing? "I didn't really come from anywhere, I'm more of a drifter, so I see no point in trying to return. I might actually stay here, maybe make a little home or something." He offered with a shrug.

Mythra ~ Pyra
~ The Aegis ~ 500+ years ~ Location; Cliff ~ Tags; Gold

Pyra continued to gently stroke the creature that Gold had referred to as a pichu. Even the name of it's species was adorable. "So these creatures evolve into new forms?" She was quiet for a while, staring at Gold with unamused expression. "Why would you do that to Pibu? He's perfect the way he is!" The Blade caressed the Pokémon's ears as she spoke softly to it.

Pyra was alerted to Gold's inquiry when Mythra had loudly pointed it out in her head that he was speaking to her. He did make a good point. What DID happen here? In her dream, it was full of vivid colours and life(according to Mythra, it reminded her of the Tornan titan five hundred years ago, but Pyra had no memory of that titan OR Addam). But now it was faded. If this land had been a titan, which she had already decided wasn't the case, then the life forms would reflect it. This place was far better off than Mor "Don't worry. You won't have to grow up. Don't mind what anyone else says. You're absolutely perfect just the way you are." Ardain, though; it still had plenty of vegetation. "I honestly don't know. If this place was on a titan, I would think that the titan wouldn't be a spring tirkin, in its' older years. But stuff like this doesn't happen for no reason, so something must have caused this. Just what?"

(Mythra's mention of Torna is speculation on my part, but there were some places in the DLC reveal trailer where Torna seemed to have a lot of colour. Also, Pyra is using a variation of the term "spring chicken".)

Nia ~ Blade ~ Unknown
Location; ruined village ~ Tags; Tony, Chitin and Almira

Nia's ears twitched in annoyance as she sent Chitin a mild glare at his comment about tin and iron. As much as she wanted to make some kind of snappy comeback, it wasn't her biggest concern right now. "Well... They did have a physical form. But maybe they only looked like Dromarch and Pepper? They could have been other creatures that had the ability to change their appearances." Her ears tilted downwards as she pondered this. "I'm not sure what this magic is, but since it seems capable of illusions, it could definitely explain it if those things were something else that just made themselves appear like Dromarch and Pepper using this magic." But whoever sent these things, how did they know about Dromarch and Pepper to begin with? She assumed that neither were present, especially Dromarch since she was in resonance with him and would know if he were here. Was this some kind of game to that little brat in her dream? Just watching them all suffer like this? She was going to rip that brat to shreds with her bare hands if she ever got the chance. Using her power on them was too good a death for them.

Otome / Agent Eight ~ Octoling ~ 16
Location; Beach ~ Tags; Zenyatta

Otome hesitantly jumped out of the ink puddle. From her perspective it seemed like Zenyatta looked calm, but he was really livid and moments away from exploding. Just like her autobomb. “No less than five minutes. It shouldn’t be longer than seven. I think.” She wasn’t going to pull her bombs out again. At least not until she had something else that wasn’t a robot monk to splat. But would it even work on things here? Ink didn’t do any damage to Zenyatta, so maybe it wouldn’t damage things from other worlds.

“Look: some of the smaller spots of ink are already gone. You’ll be dry again in no time.” True enough, some were already fading visibly. “Told you Inkling and Octoling ink disappears pretty fast.” Slightly unsure of what to do and hoping to glean any kind of information about this place, Otome pulled out her CQ-80, conjuring a hologram screen. Unlike every other time, the map was completely absent(obviously. this wasn’t a metro line.), and so was the chat room. Only the list of mem cakes remained. “The map isn’t working. And there’s no connection either. Where are we?” After some more button presses and even trying to reset it, Otome still couldn’t get it to work. She growled quietly and shoved it back into its designated pouch. “Pearl’s always rapping on this thing with Cuttlefish. It’s where not to hear them talking on this thing. Marina too.”

Landon Reynolds ➳ Male ➳ Nineteen ➳ Pansexual ➳ Hybrid ➳ Tags: Kaede Akamatsu, Clover

    "But are you sure you're well enough, Landon?" The sound of his name leaving Kaede's lips met his pointed ears, drawing him out of the trance like state he'd been in due to his trip down memory lane. It took his mind more than a few moments to realize what she'd said, and for some reason it took even longer to come up with a decent answer. "Yeah..yeah!" He began, his first 'yeah' coming out softer and more unsure than he intended, thus the reason why he said it again, this time with more confidence behind it. "I'm fine! Besides, it's the wings that'll end up doing most of the work." He said, pausing a moment to allow his wings to re-appear. He then tucked them close to his back and shifted his mismatched eyes towards Clover, listening as he talked about his magic, then watching with wide eyes as a flower grew in his hand. "Ah, how cool!" He couldn't help but exclaim, examining the flower from a far, trying to figure out what type it was. He'd definitely seen it before, although unfortunately the name was currently eluding him. He couldn't help but feel the tiniest spark of jealousy when Clover gave the pretty flower to Kaede instead of him, but he got over it quickly. 'I've heard Lilies are pretty popular amongst humans.' He very nearly blurted out in the hopes that Clover would conjure up a Lily for him since they were his favorite flower, but he stopped himself at the last second. It wasn't like he had any place to put a flower anyways, he'd probably just end up crumpling it up somehow, and no Lily deserved such a terrible fate! Hearing Kaede say something, he blinked his now unfocused eyes and turned his attention on her. He hadn't really caught what she'd said, although he was sure he heard the word 'ready', so he assumed she'd said something along the line of 'I'm ready.'. Nodding his head, he smiled before turning and making his way towards the caves entrance.

    Stopping at the opening of the cave, Landon let his eyes wander around the area. He didn't see the canines from before, nor did he smell them, which was a good sign of course, but he still couldn't help but worry for anyone else who might be in the area. Hopefully the mangy mutts hadn't turned their attention onto anyone else, unless of course they were magic users or non-human, then by all means he didn't mind someone else finishing what they'd started. Hearing Kaede and Clover strike up a conversation behind him, he let his eyes wander back towards them. Clover had asked her something about secret wings or something, and Kaede had answered that there wasn't any that she was aware of, and he couldn't help but chuckle at the idea of her having some sort of magical powers or wings that she was unaware of. Then again, it wasn't like the idea was that far fetched, considering he'd lived the first fifteen years of his life believing he was human. Ah, good times. He thought sarcastically, his eyes drifting back out of the cave and wandering while his pointed ears continued to listen in on his friends conversation. 'You're good at hitting monster dog-things with backpacks' He very nearly remarked when he heard Kaede refer to herself as 'kinda useless', but he didn't think the poor girl would appreciate his teasing, and he figured she would probably take it the wrong way and think he agreed with her, which he didn't. Shrugging to himself, he turned his attention to his injured arm. Wiggling his fingers, he visibly flinched at the pain that shot through his arm, but hey, at least now he actually had feeling in his fingers, that was a good sign! Despite the fact that he'd hidden its true appearance from Kaede and Clover, although he still had his doubts that his glamour actually fooled Clover considering he'd seen through his eye trick, he still wanted to get it cleaned up so that the scent of blood didn't attract any sort of danger to them. Not to mention it looked downright terrible. Turning his attention back to his friends, he shifted to lean against the wall of the cave, taking note of the fact that it seemed the two had finished speaking, so he decided to speak up. "You want a ride down too?" He asked, directing his question towards Clover. He wasn't even sure if Clover was planning on accompanying him and Kaede on their search for food, but if he was, Landon figured it was only right if he offered him a ride down as well. Plus he didn't think it was a good idea for Clover to use more of his magic teleporting when Landon was perfectly capable of helping him down after he helped Kaede.

    Clover crossed his arms over his chest. Like hell he'd let Landon carry him with his arm like that. "I'm fine, but thanks for offering. I can teleport myself down. It's not that far, so it won't drain my energy. I'll run the rest of the way to the forest." He said, brushing off his pants. He didn't trust Landon's arm. And while Clover was sure he was stronger than the average person thanks to being a hybrid, Clover was way heavier in muscle weight, it seemed, than Clover. "I can get down by myself. But thanks for the offer." Clover said, and began to the edge of the cave. He stared at the ground, eyes searching for the canines for a short while. He turned his head to Landon for a second. "See you down there." He said before he whispered a few words and disappeared into nothing. Clover appeared a bit a ways from the bottom of the cliff. He sighed, panting slightly before checking his pendant. It didn't burn, nor did it glow red. That was good. Clover glanced up the cliff before he started running to the shelter of the forest. He was quite certain they'd have to keep their guard up when they got in.
