Almira crossed her arms as they walked down the boardwalk, the sound of the sea echoing around. Though one thing that struck Almira was the fact that there weren't any horned hawks, no ocean birds, no seagulls hooting in the air. And this sent a chill down Almira's spine, as other than the ocean, it was deadly quiet. Something was definitely wrong with this place, and Almira wanted to get out as soon as possible. She had a home to return to, a spaceship to manage. She rubbed her temples, listening to Izuku talk quietly.
So he wanted to be a hero? And his world had quirks? Well, that was interesting. Guess the blonde couldn't make any more fun of this kid. She'd definitely had been scolded by Twin Rubidium already if the short three-hundred year old child was here. "So uh... What do you mean by quirks?" She asked, glancing at him as they walked. She was trying to make small-talk, though was probably failing even when she hadn't said that much. "We have nothing like that, we have technology. And that's what we are proud of. Our holograms, spaceships, human-like androids, you name it. That's our pride and joy." She smiled when she said the word 'android'. "I have an android I built myself, he has his own name, personality, you name it. He looks strikingly human, and you have to do a double take when you first see him. But what gives him away for not being human are his legs-- I never got to finish layering with a skin-like material called kartex. So it's just flesh, flesh, flesh, metal with him." She chuckled, her face had lit up when she mentioned her android, her eyes shone with both pride and sadness. Pride because she made him, and sadness because he wasn't with her. "We have Tattoos that project holograms; Rings that let us do what will probably be considered telepathy." She opened her hand, the owl Tattoo on her palm projecting a hologram of setting. As soon as it was there, it was gone. "Are those anything like these 'quirks' of yours?" She asked, but she was pretty sure what she had was far superior to superpowers.

Clover listened to Landon. He had a friend that was a witch? Cool. Unless you were in his world, where witches and wizards weren't highly regarded-- unlike mages (this spectrum including: Warlocks, sorcerers, and necromancers) who were very highly regarded since they focused more on spells rather than potions, despite them being able to make potions. He was happy though that Landon didn't seem to scoff at his magic or anything, mainly glad that Landon hadn't laughed at his words. However, what Kaede had said about this. Was she regarding magic as being a magician? That's what she made it sound like. He clenched his jaw, but made no notion to actually show his capabilities.
"Yeah... and uh... just call me Clover. No need for formalities." He smiled at her, he wasn't used to having the 'Mr.' prefix before his name, unless it was from a six year old or something. Even then, he still wasn't used to it. "You talked about going over to the cliffs?" He glanced over to the cliffs, their jagged edges slightly reminded him of teeth... He frowned, that was a silly analysis. "What do you think we'll find here? I say we find this child and interrogate the living Tartoros out of 'im." Clover crossed his arms, frowning deeply. "Someone with Space magic could have easily done this, they can distort shape, after all. They also can use magic to keep their child-like bodies, most of them are obsessed with youth." He thought aloud, his hands in his pockets. "I wouldn't be surprised if this kind of mage was what we're dealing with. But if that's the case.." He frowned, rubbing his chin as he continued to think aloud-- he did his best thinking this way. "Then necromancy would come in handy. However, I gave up necromancy a year ago. Though I can still perform the spells and everything, it would take more magic energy from me. I wouldn't be able to even do a simple lighting spell." He frowned deeply at the thought of having to perform such things. "This means that our best route would be to stay back... and actually look. Not to perform spells and waste ether on something pointless. This sucks!" He grumbled, dragging his hands over his face. He wished his Spellbook was with him, then he could have all the spells at his fingertips. He couldn't practice here either, since he didn't have the helpful book.
