The son of Hades's glaring expression softened for a second and turned into a normal one. He looked at his half-sister and the slightest smile appeared on his olive face. I don't usually forgive people that easily but I guess I overreacted. And she is my sister so I probably shouldn't hold a grudge on her for too long. 

Gene shrugged. "It's okay. I guess I unnecessarily overreacted back there. You're right. We should work together." The dark-haired boy felt something on his head. He turned to Max, who had some salt in his hand, as more of the white compound hit Gene's dark hair. Rolling his eyes at his best friend, he shook his hair with his hand to get the salt out of there.  "Really mature, Max."

Blaise lifted his hand up and a flame appeared in the middle of his palm. "I wouldn't really call this a trick. It's more of a ability. But it does come in handy for some things." The boy shrugged, putting his hand away, the fire disappearing from existence. "I also know how to handle a sword, but probably most demigods do." The son of Hephaestus looked back at the two girls who were now standing in the water.

Ryver laughed when she heard her sister call after her, continuing to run towards the stables. She wasn't going easy on her sister. She was running as fast as she could. She apologized to every demigod unfortunate enough to get in the girl's way, not stopping as she continued running. She really did feel bad for bumping into them, but she didn't have time to stop. No. She was way too competitive. Especially when it came to her sister, because it gave her a chance to gauge her skills against someone who sharedd them. She was thankful to have her sister, as being a child of the Big Three, you went through a lot of speculation and were expected to be egotistic, which neither she nor her sister were. She shook herself out of her thoughts, seeing the stables in her sight.

Jacob shrugged when Jasper said he wouldn't find it funny. Guess it depended on the person. He nodded when Jasper excused himself. "All right. Catch you later." He finished eating and decided to go to the arena and train some more. With people slowly draining out of the arena, it made him slightly more aware of the targets. ADHD was a pain, especially since demigods' senses were heightened. So any time someone walked behind him during training, he got a little tense, anticipating a move from behind. But, it usually never came unless one of his friends were messing with him (mostly Ryver). He took his favorite arrow out of its hold in his sleeve (seemed like an odd place, but it never broke or bent), aiming at the target. With ease, he notched said arrow, pulled back, and released, watching it fly into the heart of the dummy.

Philomela tilted her head when Penelope thanked her, nodding a bit to signal a "you're welcome." When she was sure that nobody else would come up to her, she looked down at Luna. "Come, Luna." She said in ancient Greek, signalling the wolf to follow her as she stood and walked out of the dining pavilion. The alpha female crawled out from under the table and followed her to the arena. Once she reached the arena, she pulled her bow and placed her quiver on the ground. She only saw a handful of people in there, one being her half-brother, Jacob. She sighed softly as she notched an arrow, releasing the bow. It hit a bullseye, of course, which made her smile.

Ginny smiled slightly, satisfied that her half brother had told her that she was right. As the daughter of Hades took a plate and filled it with a corn on the cob with some potatoes, she heard Penelope say,”We should get to the beach, it’s almost time for the campfire to start.”

Just then Penelope smirked and grabbed the salt from another table and threw some salt at Max’s hair. “Now who’s salty?” the daughter of Athena asked sarcastically, glad that she avenged Gene. Ginny rolled her eyes at Penelope and Max. “Gods, you guys are really immature,” Ginny said.

Max looked at Penelope and smiled. "Ha, Ha very funny," He said fixing his hair. The boy then heard Ginny's voice speak up. This might be a stupid idea but just for the fun of it. He was about to throw the salt on her but stopped. The daughter of Hades would probably make a skeleton fly out the ground or something, the son of Ares assumed. Once he thought about the skeletons, his happy side was gone. Max remembered the death of his parents. His smile fell down, making his face unreadable, a face only his best friend would know, on what's going on. The blonde boy stood up from the table and announced to the team, "I'll join you guys in a few minutes." He walked out from the dining pavilion and whistles for Brutus. When the horse came, Max jumped on his back and rode to the stables. Flashes of screams flew through his head.

Cordelia pushed herself and zoomed past Ryver like a bolt of lightning. 'This time I'll win' Cordelia quickly passed a few people. She even saw the kid that she accidentally threw food on. 'I'll apologize later.' As she ran, the demigod glanced at her sister and then looked back to the area in front of her. The daughter of Poseidon was very close to the stables and she glanced once more to see if her sister was there. She was catching up, really fast. Even though she was almost out of breath, Cordelia pushed herself to go even faster. 'Damn, I really will need to take a few second break after we reach the stables. Only a few more feet.' The demigod ran, a few droplets of sweat rolled off her face. Cordelia finally made a complete stop in front of the stables and, taking a couple of deep breathes, she breathed out, "I won! Yay!" Resting herself on a nearby pole to take a break from all the running, she saw that her sister was only a mere couple of milliseconds away from Cordelia. 'That was super close.'

Gene let out a small chuckle as Penelope threw salt at Max. "Yeah, we should probably get going." The boy turned his head to face his best friend, only to see the saddened expression on the blonde's face. The dark-haired boy's smile faltered and a frown took its place. He knew what was up. Wanting to at least check up on Max, Gene excused himself too. "I'll catch up too. We'll meet you guys there!" The boy exclaimed as he stood up and started walking into the shadows. I will just check up on him. I know how it is, losing a parent. Then we will go to the campfire, and everything will be okay.

The hazel-eyed demigod saw Max's horse in the distance, by the stables. He shadow traveled to the location, ending up next to his best friend. Looking up at the blonde, Gene asked, worried, "Hey, you okay? Max? And don't say you're fine because I can tell you are not. It's no use lying to me." The son of Hades sighed and looked up at the taller demigod's face, a worried expression finding his olive face.

"Ah!" Ryver groaned when her sister beat her. But, it was only by a millisecond. She sat down in the grass to catch her breath, then looked at her sister. "I'll get you next time." She managed to say. Once she caught her breath, she stood up. "Now let's go see the pegasi." She walked into the stables and all of the pegasi started neighing, which to her and Cordelia, they were all talking at the same time. Her face brightened when she saw her favorite pegasus, Lake. Ryver! "Hi, Lake." She chuckled, moving forward to pet the pegasus.

She nodded and started thinking up traps. Classic traps would be good, maybe a few with magic, if I can get a grip... She barely noticed when the other campers started throwing around salt. She laughed and went to get some food.

Lily looked at the picture; it was pretty average for her. She took it to her cabin and hung it on the wall. Her cabin was never messy; perfectly pressed floral sheets where on her bed with a white pillow, her artwork hanging throughout the cabin, as there were barely any other Iris kids. She walked to the pavilion, the wind hitting her skin with relief. She saw the sun setting in the distance; the beautiful portrait of a not-so-beautiful world. She sighed and sat down alone as other campers talked.

Morgan was not a morning person in anyway shape or form. She loved sleeping in and staying up until the early hours of the morning. Hearing the noise of other campers outside Cabin 3 she rolled out of her bed and right onto the floor. There were only three kids in the cabin, all girls. Seeing the other bunks empty she walked to her small trunk where she stored her clothes. She pulled on the bright orange Camp-Halfblood shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. She yanked on her tennis shoes and opened the front door of the cabin and walking out into the morning sun.

The blonde did not answer the dark haired boy. Max just looked at Gene, his eyes full of sorrow. After a few moments, he looked away. He made Brutus walk around Gene as he headed to the stables. The son of Ares glanced back at his friend and gave a sad sigh. Coming into the stables, the blonde boy saw two of the Poseidon sisters, Ryver and Cordelia. He put on a big, fake smile as he got off his horse and took Brutus's reins. Max walked over to Brutus's stall, lead the horse into it, and took off the saddle. The son of Ares addressed the girls, "Looks like you two had fun."

Elizabeth looked at Blaise’s hand in awe “that’s pretty freaking cool” she said with a small smile. “The coolest thing I can do is occasionally get a 3-in-a-row bullseye” she huffed. Elizabeth rolled her shoulders and stared at the water, the sun making it sparkle like a thousand crystals.
