It's been years since Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace and Queen Bee roamed the streets of Paris protecting the City of Love from Hawk Moth, his Akumatized Villains and Mayura. They've moved on to focus on a careers with a few less needs for secrets and raising their own Miraculouses. So what happens when evil returns and threatens to turn Paris on it's head?

Merrle [name means 'Blackbird' in French], female. She is a black Kwami with several feather-like protrusions on the top of her head that are brushe backwards and act as antennae. She also has feathers fanned out behind her like a bird's fan of tail feathers. Her favorite food is any kind of raw or rare cooked meat but especially duck.

Weapon(if has a Miraculous):
Feather Fan.
Nightingale's fan is made up of long black feathers that carry the same iridescent green-purple shimmer as Crow Feathers do. While made up of simple soft feathers, this is a rather deceptive weapon. It is by no means a mere tool carried by women to cool off with, but is in actuality a War Fan. Much like how Hawk Moth's '"cane" is actually a prepared cane being a sword hidden in an dark indigo sheath. It's feather's are more like little daggers with their edges being as if they were bladed and more then capable of slashing or cutting. When not in use it is usually attached to Nightingale's back.

Nightingale's fan has several abilities. It is nearly unbreakable and, despite the material it is made of, is strong enough to hold off pretty much any solid object or slice clean through even the hardest materials. In Nightingale's hands it it extremely versatile being capable of acting defensivly as a shield when opened up, just as well as offensively. It's bladed feathers that comprise it can slice through the hardest materials with little to no resistance. When in it's folded state, Nightingale uses it as a sword to fence with up close. She can also throw it as a projectile with pin point accuracy while having it ricochette back. The fan is also useful for some of the Crow's special abilities. Whenever something corrupts or infects an object or animal, like butterflies infected with the Moth Miraculous' energy to become akumas, the fan can capture and purify them back to normal white butterfly. The fan's feathers glow irridesently and fold inward around the Akuma capturing it. When they open back up the Akuma is a purified white butterfly yet again.

When flipped upside down in it's folded form the fan an be used as a regular cellular device, as a map with a tracker, a communicator for contacting Roux Long and dispenses an ear piece from the bottom of it.

Adrianna
Adrianna wears a dark purple blazer with rolled up sleeves. The blazer has black trimming and the inside is lined with a paler, almost silver, shade of purple. Underneath, Adrianna wears a solid black t-shirt that has a single bright green feline pawprint in one of the lower corners by the bottom hem. She wears rolled up dark blue jeans as well. For footwear she wears a pair of purple sneakers with white laces and the logo of a black pawprint bearing polka dots on the the sides. In her hair is the hairpin she uses to transform into Nightingale.

Nightingale
Nightingale wears a textured skin-tight black suit, which is complete with a greenish-dark purple sheen. Though a full body suit, there is a short tail coat behind her lined in black feathers that have the same dark sheen as the rest of the suit, giving the look of a bird's tail and it's tail feathers. Her blunette mop of hair gets longer and messier hiding her ears from sight. Loose dark feathers matching the one's trimming her tail coat appear scattered through her hair and are attached to the backs of her arms. She has a black mask around her eyes and her gloves are are sharpened into fine claws....talons so to speak. Her bird's wing hairpin turns black and gains five larger greenish-purple shimmering dark feathers flaring out from behind it. These feathers act as Nightingale's five minute timer after us in her superpower.

Personality:
Adrianna
Adrianna is a kind and charismatic girl, she is also generous, happy and cheerful as a general rule. She loves fashion, which she attributes to her parents running a fashion brand, and often plans large shopping expeditions to the Champs-Élysées to check out the designer stores. Either that or she is often found sketching in a notepad which is just about always on her person. She also loves her friends and family. Adrianna cares deeply for other people, and she usually puts their feelings and interests before her own, in some cases at a personal cost. It's not uncommon for her to go out of her way to help others, even complete strangers, if and when ahe assumes to be needed. She's been known to back her friends rushing to their defense and be encouraging towards them no matter the situation they are dealing with. Such as when she encouraged Lance Chevalier-Li to try out for a part in the school's play. The girl is very open minded and friendly, finding meeting people to be something that comes naturally to her from a young age. And she loves it, not being one to shy away from crowds of others....especially if she is the subject of their attention. Attention which Adrianna is not afraid of having or one to shy away from.

When feeling upset she typically tries to down play her negative emotions so as to not burden others with her own problems. Adrianna doesn't like to bother people with things when she feels she should be able to handle them herself. The girl being decidedly headstrong and proud. She works hard on a regular basis to prove that her opionions of herself are far from misplaced. Never one to take defamation of her character or that of her family lightly. Though her acting out comes from the need to protect what is precious to her more then anything else. Still there are a few whom Adrianna does recognize and will take advice from (namely her older sister, parents and Lance.).

Despite her pridefullness, she does think reasonably and will express annoyance and frustration when someone is being difficult or something is going wrong. The teen is able to sit down and think through situations as long as she remains calm and focused on the task at hand. Of course Adrianna is only human and has quirks just like anybody else does. This is typically in the form of particular fondness of joking around and messing with her friends and family members in general. Adrianna has also been known to dissolve into fits of irrational panic in Chinese when under extreme emotional influence.

Even with her normally determined, prideful and charismatic attitude, Adrianna is secretly fairly insecure about herself. (-)


Nightingale
Nightingale is about as different from Adrianna as night is from day personality wise. Despite being a kind and outgoing girl in her civilian form, transforming allows Adrianna to let her darker more crow-like side come out to play. Nightingale says whatever comes to her mind and makes plenty of typically bird-related jokes and puns. In her love of attention she brags and boasts about herself in a comedic way. She also retains the tendency to show off at inconvienant times. It's rare that her gentler, more friendly side comes through her hero persona and she will floor anybody that brings up those few times it does. At most Nightingale has tolerated few others as long as she knows the person in question's Kwami partner. The only person that she as ever displayed any kind of affection, trust or general gentleness towards is her partner. Otherwise as far as other people, the dark heroine finds trust a difficult feeling. Though when it comes to people or things she is aware why she cares about, like Paris, the masked avian heroine is very possesive and fiercly protective willing to give everything to ensure its safety. Nightingale is a temperamental teen who is prone to jealousy bouts and has a stinging comeback for almost everything. Nightingale's whit is about as quick and sharp as her temperament, and her cleverness with words adds to this particular trait of her's. Hence the puns and jokes. She is mischievous, liking to cause minor amounts of chaos when she isn't occupied with a real threat to Paris, and can be rather manipulative when the need arises for one reason or another. She is resourceful and intelligent often coming up with solutions to problems that tend to be a bit unorthodox.

History:
Adrianna is the youngest daughter of Adrien Noir and Marinette Noir. She was raised in Paris, France having been born into her family's fashion brand along with her older sister Brianna. From a young age Adrianna loved hearing the stories of how Ladybug and Cat Noir saved the city from Hawk Moth, his Akumatized Villians and Le Paon. Growing up Adrianna had no idea about her family's super secrets...not an easy thing to keep with two Kwami's floating around. Plus the occasional need for Paris's Defenders to make appearances now and again. Still Marinette and Adrien managed to keep their alter-egos from their daughter.

Instead of protecting Paris from evil, little Adrianna grew up having a realativly normal life. Well one that was normal for the daughter of the co-owners of a fashion empire at least. Re-named Chanceux Noir from Gabriel, the dark haired girl's parents ran the brand as a joint team often with their young daughter tagging along with them every step of the way. As such it wasn't much surprise when young Adrianna expressed an interest in fashion, often stealing old patterns and scrap fabrics from her father's office and mother's sewing room to tack onto her bedroom wall or make clothes for her dolls. From a tender age the girl put on fashion shows and modeled for her parents, and when she was old enough she eventually became a model for her parent's brand.

In her earliest years growing up Adrianna would remain at home under the watchful eyes of both sets of grandparents ,while her parents were away on bussiness ventures. Little Adrianna was always full of energy...energy useually spent getting into a verity of trouble from pulling generally harmless pranks to taking things from around the mansion. This eventually led Gabriel deciding to put said energy to good use. In other words directing it towards furthering her education in several topics he'd been sure to educate the girl's father in. First came Chinese Lessons which Marinette mother, Sabine, was more then glad to help with during her grandaughter's visits helping her and Tom in the bakery. Adrianna picked up different styles of fighting too starting at a young age: this starting with Fencing with help from her father and, on occasion, Gabriel. Next to follow was Savate, or French Kickboxing, in order to make up for the fact the child showed very little interest in Karate lessons. Though skeptical with the violent nature of Savate, it's speed and techniques proved to be well paired with Fencing.

Adrianna met her Kwami and gained her Miraculous not that long ago and it was by total accident....or so she believes. Merrle and her Miraculous jewel first came into exsistance years ago during Ladybug and Cat Noir's final fight with Le Paon and Hawk Moth. When both the Black Cat Ring and Ladybug Earrings were brought together at once, the extra energy they created cumulated together into one place and created Merrle and the Crow Hairpin. In other words Distruction and Creation gave way to Mischeif, or rather Chaos. The dark Kwami remained an unknown and dormant result of that final battle hidden at the site of that final battle at the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur for many years. That is until a certain young girl found the unknown Miraculous during a class field trip where she strayed from her classmates in secret.

Mischief had been released free on Paris for the first time. The Kwami's name was Merrle, a dark female Kwami that took the form of a Crow with a constant hunger for raw meat and most especially duck. When Merrle appeared she was surprised to hear Adrianna knew the basics and she had to explain very little, only needing to offer up the particulars. After which Nightingale was promptly born.

For the first month or so Adrianna did fairly well in keeping her new friend and life style a secret from her family. While trying to keep the Crow Kwami's exsistance a secret it was rare that the girl could get her friend duck meat, and instead got whatever was avaliable without raising suspicion. Going about her life normally throughout the day while transforming into Nightingale after sunset and patroling the streets of Paris. Occasionally Nightingale even caused some trouble often stealing things such as art from the Louvre ans the like, thlugh everything stolen was returned in the same condition it was in the following night. It was these nights during which the teen added the fighting style of Tessenjutsu to her arsenal. Though eventually her nighttime escapades started to draw attention and soon enough rumors began circulating through the city. Due to the nature of the minor crimes, and some footage from a few of the theafts, people began assuming that Cat Noir had returned and was the one responsible. With the dark suit, clawed gloves and green eyes it was understandable as to why the female was mistaken originally for the infamous feline hero. The puns caught on camera when Nightingale was confronted by an unfortunate security gaurd one night only helped to solidify this belief.

Adrianna's family however knew better and, after a lengthy discussion, sat the girl down and introduced her to the Kwami members of the Noir Family. In turn Adrianna introduced her own Kwami Partner to her family, along with their own explanation. A short time later, Nightingale was offically introduced to the people of Paris as their new superheroine. The story given? She had been in training by Cat Noir, who acted as her mentor preparing her to take over the role of Protector of Paris. Now she was finally ready to do just that. Since then Nightingale has been watching over Paris and it's citizens for the last few months. While welcomed and cheered for as a superhero, Nightingale also has a bit of a reputation for being more......reclusive and mischevious then her predasessors were. Still her relatively harmless antics along with her puns and jokes have earned a warm place in the hearts of Parisian Citizens just as surely as her parents.

Adrianna
In addition to modeling, she also takes lessons in fencing, Chinese and piano. Because of these lessons she is fluent in Chinese and often slips into it when her emotions are running high. Thanks to her fencing lesions she is able to fight on equal ground with her seniors in the sport. This also lets her use most objects as sword-like weapons effectively. Adrianna is also a talented fashion designer with clothing sketches and swatches of different scrap fabrics tacked to her bedroom walls. Adrianna claims she was born with the innate sense to tell when something was going to go wrong as well as being a living back luck charm.

Nightingale
Nightingale has enhanced skills such as balance, memory, agility, strength and near-invulnerability. Like a bird she has keen eyesight and can fly. Like a Crow, an Nightingale is a gifted theif and infiltrator, which comes in handy for her occasional midnight escapades. She uses her fan efficiently, being able to use it for close combat situations or create gusts of strong winds and dark feathers. She can also throw her fan when it to is folded up with great skill and precision and have it be deflected back to her.

Judgement
With her Judgement superpower, Nightingale manipulates the probability of an event to happen, making unlikely things occur more often or instantly and preventing liable events from happening. She can cause and prevent both good and bad luck. Nightingale is able to use this highly versatile power, yet unstable, power for a variety of uses with both good and bad luck. This power only lasts for five minutes, after which she will transform back into Adrianna. Another flaw to this power is that it is heavily controlled by her emotional state...negative emotions equal bad luck, while calmer emotions induce good luck. Also the stronger her emotions the stronger her powers but also the less control she has over them. Another drawback to her power is that, once a certain type of luck is invoked (be it good or bad) it can not be changed. So if Nightingale uses bad luck, it can not be exchanged for good luck and vise versa, even if one would favor the situation better due to a turn of events or the like. She is stuck like that until her next transformation into her heroine persona.

-Tychokinetic Combat - With Judgement, Nightingale manipulates luck for herself and turns it into an effective advantage for herself. By using either good or bad luck Nightingale is able to use her power to impact herself and her immediate surrounding area or whatever the feathers touch/are absorbed by. When her power is activated, Nightingale is able to see.....based on the current situation....and piece together several plausible plans at once. Often the objects included in these plans are highlighted by Merrle, though Nightingale describes them as being covered in Crow feathers. The drawback to these paths is they are based on what kind of luck Nightingale has invoked.

*Adrianna's name literally means "Dark Winged Butterfly", which is the reason for her family let name of "Little Akuma" and a total accident on my part while naming her. Though her last name was changed to Noir.

Unlike the female Miraculous Holders i’ve seen so far, She wears a dress instead of a suit thing. Her dress is a brownish one with diagonal stripes with grey colors. She has a tail which looks like a raccoon's tail.

As a hero, she’s pretty similar to her normal self. She loves being able to help others. She’s also more confident in her abilities in her hero life.
History:
She lived with her parents in Japan for a few years in her life. During that time, she always helped out her parents and anyone who wanted help. In her spare time, she goes out into parks and helps animals in need. When she was about 7 years old, her parents moved to Paris to get her a better education and also to get them a better living. She had been homeschooled and only spoke Japanese. At about 8th grade, she started going to normal school. Because of those decisions, she isn’t that fluent in English. When she started high school, she decided to walk along the park. She saw a raccoon and decided to follow it by instinct. It led her to a hair tie. A striped hair tie. She picked it up. There, she got her powers and found her kwami friend Nuitt.

"Hey! Wake up!" Was the first thing Anna heard in the day. She opened her eyes lazily and saw her kwami looking at her with a stern face. She wondered why she was supposed to be awake this early. She had been up so late last night outside and she honestly couldn't remember why she was up. "What's going on? Why did you wake me up this early??" She asked the kwami. "Well.. I thought i'd wake you up since there's only 10 minutes til school starts.

"Ten minutes! I'm going to be late!" Anna says while getting up. "What do I do? I'm going to be so late!" "Well you can start by actually getting ready instead of getting worried." Nuitt calmly said to her chosen one. Of course Nuitt liked her chosen one but she would have liked that Anna got more sleep. School was important and sleep loss would affect her health. The kwami then helped out Anna by getting her backpack ready for her.

Shen she was done, Anna grabbed her backpack and a piece of toast from the table which her mom seemed to have left her. Her parents weren't there but that wasn't worrying her in the slightest since they were often gone for work. She got out of her house, closed the door, and then ran as fast as her legs could take her.

Powers and abilities: Enhanced Agility- As Roux Long, Lance is more agile, capable of weaving about in a fight as if he were dancing. In this way, he is much like a dancing dragon.
Quintessence Roulette- Roux Long's true power lies in his ability to adapt to the situation at hand in the midst of battle. In exchange for activating a five minute "timer" before his transformation is broken, Roux Long can gain the ability to use one of the five Elements of the Dragon, each represented by spheres of five different colors embedded into his bands. These are Fire(red), Water(blue), Wood(green), Earth(yellow), and Metal(grey).

Appearance: Typically, Lance can be found wearing a white, long-sleeved button-down shirt, one left untucked with the top two and bottom-most buttons being left undone. This is often paired with blue jeans, a black leather belt with a coat of arms buckle, and black trainers. His sole reason for wearing long sleeves is, though he makes different excuses depending on who asks, to hide the metal armbands he uses to transform into Roux Long.

As Roux Long, Lance wears a long, diagonally-buttoned, red sleeveless tailcoat with black and gold trimming that goes down the right side of his torso and forms a black collar. Under it he wears a black sleeveless turtleneck with red tasseled ropes over the hips and black pants that get tighter below the knees. As footwear, Roux Long wears red, calf-high, open-toed sandals. From his fingers to his biceps run gradient red-to-black detached sleeves that end in the metal armbands that serve as the Dragon Miraculous. These metal armbands, which are typically a jet black in color, have the image of a red Chinese dragon encircling them. These designs have five horns on their heads, these horns serving as a counter telling how much time Roux Long has before he transforms back. Roux Long wears a red mask with four black 'horns' and four 'fangs'. The 'fangs' are grouped in two on each side of his face, two framing his nose with the other two found touching the outer edges of his eyes. The 'horns' are grouped in two on each side of Lance's face as well, one on each side just about aligned with the centers of his eyes with the other two framing the sides of his face.

Personality: Lance is, above all else, known for his stubborn nature. When he sets his mind to achieving a goal, little can be done to dissuade the teenager from pursuing his aim with the fervor of a ram. While this level of determination is to be admired, some would suggest he overexerts himself at times. While Lance can certainly be considered patient for the most part, he can be fiercely and sometimes aggressively protective when his sister and few true friends are insulted or threatened.

Despite his bull-headed nature, Lance can be just as understanding and gentle as he is stubborn. This is made most evident by his astute and observant nature, little escaping his attention. The young man always seems to know when others are troubled, even when they try to hide their worries with jokes or cheerful attitudes. However, though he can be a loyal friend who is an excellent listener and someone others can turn to for emotional guidance, Lance finds it difficult to approach others. He is socially awkward, his blunt and straightforward manner of speaking causing him to come across as harsh and overly critical. Subsequently, others are just as likely to avoid him as he is to avoid them.

Lance's bull-headed attitude mixes with his social awkwardness and a free-spirited nature to make him a self-reliant loner. Despite being prideful at times, he is a brave and honorable individual who keeps his word and is willing to stand up for his friends and himself in the face of adversity. Finally, Lance has a strong sense of justice and integrity. Though his pride can cause him to make mistakes, the man remains true to the loyal friend hiding beneath his lone wolf exterior and always tries to do what he feels is right and just.

As Roux Long, one of the few notable changes appears in how he approaches others. Roux Long is more cryptic and eloquent in how he speaks, confusing others with his poetic way of speaking that allows him to say what he means without meaning what he says.

Normal appearance: Aleron's gray hair is short on the sides, but lengthy on top. In a way, it has a layered look to it. His cerulean eyes are the most distinguishable physical feature apart from his typical monochromatic appearance.
Alter-ego appearance: As Niflheimr, he dawns on a white, suit, complete with a cloak that is separated in the middle and lined with fur at the collar, and at the hem. Fur also lines the sleeves of his jacket-esque suit that ends at his wrists. His mask is a laced veil that covers the upper half of his face that is secured to the back of his head. Along with his suit and cape, he has a pair of large silver gauntlets with sharp claws, much like Chat Noir, but his boots are also just as deadly. Following his polar bear theme attire, he also has Small, rounded ears poking through his gray hair and a small, fluffy tail.

Still hidden in the young teen's bag Merrle gave another round of the low chirping purr. Her feathers rattled before settling down again with the soft sound. She could not physically comfort her Choosen in public, so this was the next best thing the sprite could do. It didn't take the crow all that long to realize that these noises were just as comforting to Adrianna as physical contact. In fact all it took was one flashy, loud rain storm for the truth to come out into the open. Kwami and Holder had only known each other for three weeks when the dark sprite found out. "Congratulations Adrianna! You are now officially a full fledged Holder of a Miraculous! You are facing chaos head on and have an arch-enemy...maybe three! Welcome to the murder!", Merrle chuckled in an attempt to cheer up the bluenette. Though she stopped at the only result being a subtle emerald glare.

"You think you are being cute and helpfull, but you're not. Not with the adorably little chaos causing glutton that you are. I do appreciate the try though....thanks for that.", said Adrianna poking a finger into her bag to poke at her little friend. Her tone was annoyed but one good look at the teen and the warmth was evident. It was impossible for the girl to stay upset, angry or sad, when her Kwami got involved. Merrle was reassurance incarnate for Adrianna. "I appreciate the concern, but you should get some sleep today during school Merr. Don't think I don't know how little sleep you got last night. You slept about as well as I did so you got zero. I need you to pull this mess together."

Merrle grinned mischievously about to respond when she fell back into the bag. The purse snapping shut with her retreat back into the cushiony bag. Just in time too because who else should be running up to the bluenette teen but Aleron.

"Aleron?", the name escaped her lips automatically at the familiar voice. The young girl stopped placing a light hand against her purse out of habit and waited for Aleron to catch up. When he did she resumed her walk, only this time keeping even pace with the boy. The silver haired upperclassmen may have been her senior by two years but that fact meant little to Adrianna. She couldn't believe she had forgotten that he lived near by. They spent enough walks to the school bumping into each other to reap a reminder. The last time they had walked together to school, Aleron had said he was going to be gone awhile....to America for some family obligation. This had upset the younger teen a bit with the idea of loosing her occasional human company for a little while but she understood. And it wasn't like the boy was moving to America. He was coming back. In fact it was almost like he had never left when they finally fell into step with each other. "A frown? Am I frowning? I haven't noticed, especially now that you're back home again. You're one of the only upperclassmen worth talking to outside of polite conversation.", replied Adrianna though she felt some internal panicking. Was her stress and nerves really showing? They had to be if the boy was able to pick out the fact that something was wrong. Not good. The grin faded as she allowed some of the stress to seep into her voice, "Honestly I've been loosing it since you left. Normally I'd take my frustrations out on whoever I get to slice to ribbons on the piste, but can't really have Fencing Practice without the Fencing Master. Mom and Dad are in Milan so all fencing has been put on hold and the only photoshoot I had was the new Hero's and Villain's collection for the Hero's Day Celebration. Mom and Dad'll be back some time soon for it, with Fashion Week and the celebration falling at the same time next week. But still they didn't want me being home alone without them. So naturally I've been living at Agreste Manor for the past week or so instead of Noir Hall. I mean it's nothing like dad's stories but I don't know, there is still something that makes me feel the need to be a little lady when I'm there. It's still nerve wrecking." It took a minute for everything she had just said to sink into the female student. Once it had though Adrianna turned back on her mrning companion, "And don't get cheeky with something about 'rich girl problems'."

Of course the fact she said all of this in a rapid stress-induced Chinese flurry took a whole another minute or so to sink in. This eventual realization caused the flustered bluenette to blush and apologize. With that out of the way she explained everything over again so the boy could understand what her ranting was about.
