ms. fortune remained worried about the boy's safety. looking up at the dragon with slight concern as she wasn't sure they could take this out, then again, she still didn't know much on rin's abilities "look kid, if we're doing this, we're doing this together. don't know if you can die. and if you can, then I sure as hell don't want to have to deal with another fallen teammate!" she exclaimed as she took a step forward protectively. her ears and tail were now as sharp as a sword as she tried to think of a way to get rid of this thing with ease. maybe aim for the head? seemed like the logical thing to do, but scales were much harder to cut through than skin, so that might be a problem for her

viceversa was already on guard when steps could be heard nearby, although her weapon seemed to be very defensive, cerebella was calm in the situation, maybe it was just a potential friend?
she wasn't really proven wrong when a nice looking young girl was the one who approached. smiling a bit, despide viceversa not being all too trusting. "heya, tsu! name's cerebella, your friendly neighborhood circus girl!" she showed off a friendly toothy grin. "nice meeting ya!" she chirped enthusiastically.

the pair gladly began to follow, when the conversation about going home started, she couldn't help but to speak up. "i think it would be important for us to mention that we're not planning on going home. so we might just tag along to help! if that's alright, of course." she said politely, leviathan stayed quiet, as she didn't was to disagree with his host in any sort of way, especially with something she seemed so sure of.

Once he shared a look with the fire mage, the ninja's grip tightened on the katana, preparing to summon the ancient dragon of the north winds in order to use Dragonblade. His grip loosened, however, once he staggered backwards in surprise at the sight of what appeared to be a boulder crashing to a halt against a flaming tree. It was huge compared to the rather short cyborg. His attention then switched to Natsu, staring at him and searching his face for his reaction.
Something this size was almost certainly the source of the rumbling, but that rose a question: where did it come from? Genji hesitated. But then he noticed the ground continued shaking, and that's when the creature appeared. The cyborg stared at it, still preparing to fight but it didn't seem to be dangerous, in fact, it looked quite surprised. He decided against unsheathing the katana. It appeared to be even taller than Reinhardt. Genji remained silent, unsure exactly what to do in this situation.

(before the sight of the creature)
sighing in response, "well.. the war hasn't exactly started yet, but we all know it's coming" letting out
a hopeless breath. she thought perhaps to avoid the talk of wars and battles, as she was afraid of stirring
up his emotions, already seeing an uncomfortable expression on his face, and not fully knowing his past,
and what he's been through, she figured it was definitely best to keep the talk on the positive side.
hoping that if she began to lift her spirits, maybe he would too.

"but yes!" jumping back to an enthusiastic voice. "i'm very lucky to have friends by my side i suppose not
everyone has that privilege, and if we all stand together, i too am sure we can win!" she then paused for
a moment, and sighed. "i told.. lapis that. but she still left. i still don't know why, or when she'll come
back, or if i ever will either..."
she didn't want to stir anything up though, so she continued to think of ways to lighten the mood, while
listening to him, as that's when the rustling began.

(after seeing it)
she flinched back, darting her eyes to corrin as it seemed to be staring at him, then her only instinct
being to grab her stick, she used her ferrokinesis to dart the medium-sized stick object at the large
bird creature, her aim was a bit off though, and she knew it. "w-wait you do?" she then thought for
a moment, thinking of the corrupted gems back on earth. "i suppose we have.. something like it?
but none of them are quite as- off looking and terrifying as this thing!" she then launched it so fast
she didn't even have time to direct it another way. she squinted her eyes, hearing another loud
squawk from the humongous bird, then slowly opening them, seeing the stick had impaled the far
right of the bird creature's neck. it seemed to be struggling, but she didn't want to remove it, as
it seemed to be keeping it's focus off of them, but she knew it was the only form of weapon she had,
not knowing when she'd come across anything else like it, even though it was smaller than a sword's length.

she then made the decision, to yank it quickly, and to dart past it as fast as possible, doing just
that. still not knowing where she was going, or where she'd lead them, if she even was, she signaled
for corrin to follow her, as she began to pick up speed, and pass the creature, as they both looked
back, watching it struggle. avoiding making too much noise, as to not draw too much attention to
themselves.

barely missing it, it seemed as though they'd got away, as the farther they'd run the creature seemed
to be out of sight, and the forest was silent once again.
she almost began to second guess herself, not knowing if attacking it was the best idea, but it seemed
as though it didn't have any good intentions with them either.

As Ms. Fortune seemingly changed her demeanor, the half demon gave a small smirk. So she already was beginning to care about his safety even though she hadn't trusted him not too long ago. Low key Rin appreciated it, though he'd never voice such a thing. Her comment about fallen teammates was a bit odd though. Had she lost others before? He could only assume so. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We can do this together and all that," he said. "Just watch out for my flames, okay? They're more dangerous than they let on." He'd leave it at that for now. Back home nearly every exorcist knew what blue flames meant which was what clearly made him a threat to society. Narrowing his eyes at the dragon, he could tell it was unhappy about his warning shot. That was no surprise. He wouldn't enjoy being hit by flames either. Without another word, the teen pushed himself forward to prepare for an actual attack. The dragon seemed prepared for him and swiped a clawed foot at him. Quickly avoiding the attack, Rin launched himself into the air and swung his sword downward at the creatures head, the blue flames flaring up from it in the process. The weapon collided with the dragon's head causing the beast to let a roar out. The blade had gotten a good gash on it and the flames had caused the dragon obvious discomfort, but it wasn't enough to take it down. Landing off to the side, the demon boy let a grunt escape his throat as he looked back at his opponent. "Tougher than ya look. That's nice."
