Hunger Games RP Accepting

"Very funny," Ryu replied with an amused huff and rolled his shoulders to feel a few pops from his very bones for sitting still for so long. He leaned away from the tree finally and combed his fingers through his dark hair to reveal his now dark eyes for it was daytime. He wasn't much of a morning person and would usually throw a shoe at anyone who came into his room to wake him up. "How are you this morning?" He asked and his gaze fell towards the ground and saw that nothing changed. Glad to see that no tributes found them yet but he wasn't so sure about the people watching.

"I'm alright. Yourself?" Emila said with a sigh. She was stiff from the tree, and feeling thirsty. She grabbed the water jug, took a large sip and offered it to Ryu. "What's our plan for today?" she asked. Emila knew they weren't just going to survive by staying in one place. They needed to move, and find food. It would be nice if they could shoot some game, but Emila knew she wasn't going to be able to accomplish that feat. She pulled her hair up into a high ponytail, and turned her gaze back to Ryu.

Stay alive, Ryu kept that comment to himself but he wasn't much of a 'natural leader' and he didn't like the idea of being one either. "Try and see what we can find on the hunting and then try and move away from the other tributes if we can. If not then try and take a few out but not be too gun-hoe about it." He kept his voice in his usual low tone and took a hold of the water jug Emila offered. Taking a small swig and lifted his hand to check his belt, only to find all of his knives still in place. Relief came across his face a bit for a moment before going back to his normal self. "Any suggestions or forever hold your peace?" He half joked and hated serious moments sometimes. Glad to see that Emila wasn't the type to tick him off in the morning so he knew this was going to go well.

"Uh," Emila said, thinking for a bit before she fully responded. "I think we should follow the river that way." She pointed deeper into the woods, not sure if they should run away fom danger or face it head on. She turned to roll up the sleeping bag, stuffing it back into her fluorecent orange pack. She grabbed her bow and arrow, one arrow still knocked on the bow. She was glad she didn't need to defend them overnight, because it would have most likely ended badly. "You wanna lead the way?" Emila asked with a sweet smile.

Ryu gave a soft shrug in response before looking back down towards the ground and then leaning off of the branch and easily landing on the grass below. Dusting himself off a bit before glancing up to see if Emila would follow as he yawned a bit still waking up. He would rather be sleeping in the day time, it's just to dang bright for him but the sun did warm his pale skin as he stood still and listened to the breeze.

Emila struggled for a bit before finally reaching the ground. She wasn't that agile, so climbing was difficult for her. She adjusted the bow and arrow across her shoulder before making her way to the bank of the river. She looked at everything while she walked the coolness of the water, the morning dew on the plants. She noticed two small fish in the river, and she took an arrow out of the sheath. She tryed stabbing the fish, but she missed twice."You wanna try? I would probably be more help looking for berries." She said with a small shy smile. She stepped back to see if Ryu could do better.

Ryu watched as Emila made her way back down the tree and seeing her struggle made him glad to see she got away unscathed afterward. She was going to have to get used to climbing here and there, he preferred to be in higher places. He gave a small shrug of his shoulders in response to her question. "With my luck, I'll probably find the deadly berries." Some humor tainted his voice but he opened up his jacket a bit to pull out a knife with his pale hand. Ryu admired the silver blade for a moment before releasing it with a flick of his wrist and catching the tail of one of the silver fish. The small animal struggled and flopped as it's tail got pinned to the ground and Ryu took both of his hands to retrieve both his knife and the fish. Beginners luck? He could careless, at least it was something to eat right?

((Bah, I figured this would happen, the RP is one of my favorites too /:))
Emila smiled at Ryu's remark, knowing it was probably true. She recalled when they were both at the plant identification station. She remembered him not being interested in the plants, but Emila payed close attention to them. She watched Ryu skillfully pin and kill the fish, and a sigh of relief flashed across her face. They got something to eat at least, and they both survived the first night. This was a good sign in Emila's eyes. She moved closer to him, saying "Good job." with a smile and laying a hand gently on his shoulder

((Mine as well, right when I finished the second book too >-< Thigns just got interesting...))

Ryu switched his attention towards Emila and smiled a bit. He saw no harm or the other tributes being around, which he found a bit strange for his taste but hell with it. "Thanks," He replied lightly and looked back at the water. The other fish was still around but was more downstream from Ryu attack. "Some fish for breakfast?" He asked and flicked his knife towards the second fish but missed from the distance he was at. The silver knife gleamed at it strggled against the current of the water and the nearby fish swam away and a glint of disappointment came across Ryu's eyes but hardly showed it. One fish wouldn't be enough for both of them so gatheirng roots and other plants might be their best bet unless they went for the food in their packs.

"Yum," Emila said with slight sarcasm, as she'd rather eat the stuff she had back home than this fish. She'd have to take what she could get. She walked away, scouring the area for the eatable plants she had remembered. She found some blueish colored berries, and picked one and squeezed it. Seeds came out, which was good because that was the tell-tale sign of if the were the edible kind or the poisonous ones. She smilled as she picked a handfull, calling out somewhat hushed, "Hey, I found some berries!"
