Kieran Upchurch
Kieran dropped his axe as he got the last board off. The door opened abrubtly and his eyes adjusted to the light he looked down at the little girl as she ran off. He assumed he looked scary before she said somethinf abput wanting her dad. Kieran picked up his axe and put it back into its sheath. He pulled his bandana down to his neck and lifted up his hat a bit. He walkex inside and shut the door. This girls father aint comin' back...but I cant tell her that..she doesnt look that old."

Ethan Turner | Male | 32 | Mentions: Samual

Ethan was already contemplating his options, as the figure began to advance. He could run. But most survivors were armed. But remaining put would likely put his own life, as well as Aura’s in danger. But still, it seemed like the best chance. Before he took another step, the man was upon him. Ethan felt powerless against his broad figure, and took a step back. Complying seemed like the best way to go about this. “Easy, easy. I’m not bit.” His hands moved away from his belt and his bat dropped to the ground with a clatter as his palms were open in front of him, a sign to this man that he was not a threat. “No one has to die here. You need water? Take it. Let us be on our way.” He could do little to reassure Aura, who was cowering fearfully behind him. In truth, she wasn’t much of a fighter. But that suited Ethan just fine. “I see you have a uniform. You from the military?” It was an obvious question, but Ethan merely hoped conversation would help lower the tension.

Mia Jones | Female | 23 | Mentions: Open

No person was in sight. Just....a dog? Mia relaxed, sliding her knife back into her belt as she crouched to the ground. “Hey, boy.” She greeted the canine by stretching out her hand to allow him to sniff. Riley watched from beside her carefully, but made no attempt to attack this dog. He didn’t seem like a threat. Mia slowly placed her bag aside and reached for a few bone scraps she’d collectef for Riley. Assuming this dog was a stray, she thought he might be hungry. “Here, you want one. There’s plenty.” She held the treat in her hand and offered it to him. While people set her on edge, it was dogs she truly had a soft spot for.

Ellis Ryan Upchurch
Ellis carefully and quietly opened the door and walked out. He put his crossbow back behind his back with the strap around his chest. He walked out from behind the shelves and looked at the girl for a moment and looked to her dog. "You dont have to give him that...he's eaten enough recently..save it for yer own dog." Ellis lifted his hands up to show hes not a threat. Denver looked back at Ellis and sagged his tail, running back over leaving the treats in her hand alone. He psuhed his Way between Ellis's legs and wagged his tail as he stood between them looking up at Ellis. Ellis didnt know why Denver did this but he has always done it since he was a puppy.

River Upchurch
River nodded a bit and watched Ellis walk away from her. She looked around for a moment and pet Nashville's head before walked toward a clothing store. She had an orange bandana tied around her neck and she moved it up so it covered her nose and mouth. She opened the door and let Nash walk in first before following after. She looked around and she didnt see any walkers. She advanced forward and went searching for a new pair of clothes. The ones she had on were stained with dirt, blood, and sweat; not to mention dog slobber. She looked down at Nashville and then back up as he started to sniff around the shopping center.

Enid BlackBurn

Enid ripped at her leg, crying from how scared she was. She never realized the zombies were actually there. She refused to admit they had killed her mother...and they were just savages. She stood up, and wiped tears, and started running. Her home was overrun by walkers, so she was trying to get to a local store for food. She couldn't breath, and stopped for a breath, when she was tackled. She yelped, and kicked the thing off her. It was another zombie. She started shaking, and held her crossbow to her chest, and ran off again. She threw open the door to her local market, and started shoving any and every thing she could. Food, hairbrushes, etc. when she turned around to another Aisle and slammed into another person. She fell to the floor fast, and started shaking in fear under the woman.

(sorry its bland and fast, but idk right now. Might make another canon of carl ? lol. I ship them way to much.)

River Upchurch
River turned to walk out of an aisle when someone crashed into her. River wasnt easily taken down so she regained her balance easily. She looked down at the girl. "I'm so sorry, are ya 'lright?" It was uncommon for her to offer her help to a stranger but it seemed like the girl needed it. She offered out her hand to the girl as Nashville came up behind River and stood beisde her sniffing at the girl a bit.

𝔈mhrys slowly hauled herself up from the boxspring mattress, the vertebrae of her spine popping with every movement. the velvet purple curtains allowed rays of sunlight through the small crack, warming her pale visage. bloody good morning to you too. she thought bitterly and raised a hand, shielding her eyes from the vibrant light before she rolled to her feet. the huntress had been running low on provisions for days now, but it was become dire that she made a trip into town. the sound of nails clicking against the hardwood floors signaled the arrival of her companion, wolfe, who proceeded to settle at his master's feet, his tassel swishing against the cool floors. "good morning, love. I regret to inform you that we'll have to wait for breakfast. I'm deeply sorry, but I'll make it up to you. get ready to go." emhrys sighed softly and ruffled the sable fur atop his head, dismissing the canine with a quick wave of her hand as she slipped off to get dressed.

emerging in relatively clean clothes, the woman arranged her array of weapons along her lithe, well-muscled frame, gazing toward her companion with a soft smile before nodding toward the door. wolfe offered her a wolfish grin in response, following behind dutifully as she forced the door open, stepping out into the awaiting sunlight.
I hope the weather keeps up. always seems to be bloody storming. the woman thought to herself with a disgruntled snort, following the familiar trail into the city. the cabin was nearly a half hour's walk, but neither human nor canine seemed to mind the adventure all that much. all she needed was a few provisions, and the sooner she managed to locate them, the better. wolfe seemed to veer off into the lead, his bushy tail wagging lazily behind him as he took in all the sights, tongue hanging out.

after a brisk jog in the warm sun, emhrys took a quick swig of her canteen, savoring the taste. tiny beads of sweat had begun to prick at the back of her neck and the woman wiped them away impatiently.
"wolfe. scout." the huntress commanded, watching the sable frame of her companion lift his muzzle to the sky and disappear behind an old building. the saarloos wolfhound made no sound as he ventured forth, keeping his senses peeled for any danger. it was then that he caught wind of two people nearby, one significantly younger as determined by scent. she seemed distressed, and that caused the fur along his spine to bristle. twisting briskly, the canine darted back to his master, his gaze urgent as he came across her. noting the look of concern from her dog, rhys nodded briskly and gestured for him to lead the way, to which he darted off, following the same trail as before, leading her directly to the door that keiran had shut behind him. wrinkling her nose at the sight of the dismembered walkers at her feet, the woman stepped around them, knocking gently on the door. whatever was behind said door had sent wolfe into protective mode, meaning it had to be something worth looking into.

Mia Jones | Female | 23 | Mentions: Kieran

Mia was once again put on edge as the door opened. Seemingly out of nowhere, a man entered the space, and she backed away against the wall. His hands were up. So far, that was a good thing. Riley didn’t seem so agitated either. Perhaps this man wasn’t a threat. But still, Mia wasn’t going to take much of a chance here. “What do you want?” She asked, her tone defensive. She didn’t exactly want to sound so harsh. But recent encountered had completely ruined her faith and trust in people. From what she had seen, survivors just wanted to look out for themselves. She slid her bag onto her back and looked towards the shelves. She hadn’t managed to raid the entire place yet. “There’s still a few draws I haven’t checked. Are you...with a lot of people?” It was unusual for her to show compassion. But if this man had people, then it was likely that he needed more than she did.

Samuel kept a careful eye Ethan has he slowly dropped the bat to the ground and raised his hands in the air. "I don't need water, and I'm not looting you. This is a safety precaution from myself and my partner." Sam's voice was even and in control. In truth the military man felt bad that he was holding this civilian at gun point, however now a days you had to be extremely careful with people. "I am Staff Sergeant Handley and I promise I don't want to hurt you. Once I can confirm that you're safe I'll put my weapon away." Sam explained his next steps. Instructing Ethan to place his bags on the ground so his dog can search them, while also keeping the man's dog back. "If you have any weapons besides that bat now would be the time to tell me. Dogger, search." At his masters command Dogger perked up and walked over to Ethan's bags, sniffing about for any types of explosives.

Breanna ran all the way into her make shift room. Throwing herself onto her bed she let out a loud wail. Snot dribbled out of her nose and fat tears rolled down her cheeks as she screamed into her pillow. A whirlwind of emotions was storming through the small girls brain and she couldn't figure out how she felt, let alone how to properly express herself. So, the seven year old settled for screaming and crying. "I want mummy and daddy." She sobbed into the bed. "I wanna go home and the monsters to go away." Blubbering in a sobbing mess the girl inhaled sharply only to let out another wail of sorrow. It was all to much. The scary monsters, being alone, not having mom or dad, and being very hungry Breanna was having a full on melt down. What Breanna really wanted the most was to be hugged. She's been starved from human contact for at least a week.

It was relieving to know this man’s intentions, but Ethan wasn’t exactly any more at ease. His hands slowly dropped to his sides and he took a step away from his bag so that his dog could search. “Aura, back.” He instructed, as the collie sniffed at the man with curiosity. He didn’t want to give an excuse for Handley to harm his companion. “Sorry about that, she’s harmless. I have a handgun in my pack. A Glock 19. You don’t have to worry, the safety is on and it’s securely sheathed.” Strangely, Ethan’s level of fear began to drop. Handley’s intentions were not bad. Most would have taken advantage of his supplies. And likely would have used a dog such as this for other purposes. Attacking being Ethan’s main assumption. “I’m guessing from your bond with that dog you were a handler? Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m Ethan. You’ll find a lot of medical equipment there.” He stated, pointing idly at his pack. “I’m a...was a surgeon.”
