"Show-off," Athena teased when she saw Aaiden take his shirt off. She couldn't help but giggle at how annoyed the doctor seemed to be at the boy's defiance before the male doctor finished flipping through a couple of the pages.
"Well we've got all of the blood samples we need right now," came the man's deep, monotone voice. "We're going to be testing your night vision soon, see how well that actually worked and then you'll probably go into physical training after that."
Athena whipped her head around to look at the man, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Physical testing?"
"Yes. Things like seeing how much strength you have now that your animal DNA is taking over, how much endurance you have, and anything else like that. But that's for later. Right now, I'd suggest you go get a bite to eat; get some energy for the testing," he explained, gathering all of his paper work and fixing his lab coat as he prepared to leave the room.
"Umm... I'd rather stay here with my friends and go to breakfast after they're done... if that's okay?" she asked, glancing back at the other two kids in the room.
The doctor looked over at them as well, almost as if pondering the idea. "I suppose that wouldn't hurt... Very well. Just be sure you three do eat something though. The tests might be quite difficult if you don't have enough energy."
With that he walked out of the room and Athena let out a sigh of relief. "Thought that guy would never leave."

Isadora looked up for only a moment when Mia kneeled down next to Todd, her narrowed red eyes lacking the usual wicked, teasing shimmer she always seemed to have in them. "Just go away," she hissed loudly, holding onto Todd's limp body and hugging it to hers as if she was trying to keep him away from danger.
Her entire world had just crumbled to pieces so she could care less about how rude she sounded to anyone else.
Looking back down at Todd's lifeless face, she bit her lip to keep herself from having another outburst of crying as she thought back to all of the things she had done wrong. Why had she allowed for herself to become so attached to him? She knew that the chances of survival in this place were extremely low, but yet she stupidly allowed for herself to fall in love with Todd with in just a couple of days after arriving at the Asylum. She hadn't quite known him that well and as shocking as it sounded, she was too shy to talk to him -- that was back when people could actually believe that she had a heart. Why she had been so stupid to think that things could actually have a happy outcome, she had no idea.
With her shoulders quaking as felt another set of tears begin to sting her eyes, she spoke again, this time her voice sounding weak and pathetic. "Just please go away..."

Aaiden looked at Athena and gave her a quick wink as she called him a show off, he glanced at the doctor crossing his arms across his chest. "I won't do it, you can try something else but I'm doing with the laughing" He said shortly, the doctors eyebrows creased, she sighed giving up, he smirked.
"Your a pain Aaiden" She said shortly, "Fine well do physical, take your jeans off" She said quickly, Aaiden gave her a face of mock surprise
"Hey now, you could atleast buy me dinner first! This is getting a bit sudden" He said with a grin, the doctor glared at him and rolled her eyes, Aaiden chuckled "Ok ok, don't get your granny panties in a twist" He said with a grin, unbuckling his jeans and slipping them off leaving him in his boxers "Did you guys open a window? Im feeling a draft" He said looking around with a small grin

((xDD I couldn't help but laugh at that post! Man I wish I knew a guy like Aaiden at my school. ...There is a guy named Aaiden who's in my grade though... but he's a real jerk >.< He should be more like Awesome Aaiden xD But yea, I caught this cold out of the blue, but as soon as I posted that last post, my mom let me go outside for a little while after I sat there complaining for the longest time even though I had to bundle up like the little kid from Christmas Story heheh. But right now, my little sister is trying to build one of the biggest snowballs possible out of the snow that still remains. It's actually kinda cool. Oh and now she and my mom are dressing it up… >_>))

Athena laughed as she put her hand on her forehead and shook her head. "My God, Aaiden, you really are something!"
While she was sitting on the table laughing, she suddenly shut her eyes, shielding them with her arms and turned her head away when she saw him taking his jeans off. "Whoah! Okay, I don't think I need to watch this anymore. If you're gonna go streaking down the hallway or something, just make sure I'm nowhere near you!"
It was pretty nice knowing that Aaiden and Bex were managing to keep her in a good mood. With them around, this place didn't seem half as bad as she first thought it was. However, the thought of of what many of the older kids tended to say about "not getting too attached" was beginning to become a constant pain that continued to linger in the back of her mind, coming up in little flashes that didn't quite allow for her to think about it too much.

"im only tring to help!" Mia snaped at her, relizeing what she did "im sorry......." she said getting up and walking over to the bed where she slept "i-im just tiered of seeing people die around me all the time.....i feel like its my fault." Mia said looking at her long nails. she just wished she could have someone to talk too.

Misty had her head lowered as she heard the sound of a mournful wail,"Someone just died."Misty said and stopped running."That doesn't concern you."The doctor said as he checked Misty's pulse,"Can I at least shed a tear?"Misty said,yanking her wrist away and hot tears of sorrow burned and blurred her vision.She knew how the person who cried felt,dejected,empty,like nothing else mattered,depressed."The doctor sighed,annoyed.He strapped Misty on to the treadmill and set it on a fast pace."We will leave you on this until you have a clear mind." Misty started running again,this time only sadness kept her going.

Listening only for a moment to what the girl had to say, Isadora's eyes seemed to become unfocused. "Well I suppose that's just something we're going to have to get used to... But it's no one's fault really."
She looked back at Todd for a moment, a pained expression on her face.
She knew he hadn't heard the three simple words she'd been dying to tell him: I love you. And in knowing this, it tore her up and killed her inside. She should have told him before all of this had happened. She shouldn't have been afraid to admit that she had actually fallen in love.
"Todd, why was it so hard for me to tell you?" she whispered.
"Alright, I suggest it's time we get everyone out of this room," one of the doctors said, finally stepping into the situation. She walked over to where Isadora was and put a hand on her shoulder. "I know this much be tough for you... but there's nothing we would have been able to do."
Isadora looked up at the woman, her eyes filled with mourning and grief as she glanced back at the lifeless body she was holding. "But I can't leave him," she murmured shakily.
"Sweetheart..." the lady crooned. "Come on; let the scientists do what we need to do. Let's get you to your room." She helped the girl stand back up and walked her over the doorway, pushing a couple of people out of their way and tried to keep Isadora from rushing back into the room.
"No, you don't understand. I don't want to leave him," Isadora explained pointlessly, too weak to actually try and argue.
"I know, I know. But, honey, we need to get you to the testing rooms. We don't have time to waste. At least go eat something first. Maybe a breakfast meal will give you some energy," said the doctor, trying to put on a smile.
Isadora almost wanted to slug the woman in the face and tell her to just shut up, but she was too tired to even speak. She reluctantly nodded, while the doctor led her to the cafeteria.

Bridget woke up, and emediatly dreaded she had. her head felt like hit was about to shatter, and for some reason her tail bone felt like it had been stretched. A little white haired girl that looked as old to be a Grandma was sitting next to her. "Ah, good. You're awake."
"Yay." She groaned rustily, and she flicked her ears. Her eyes got wide, and she put her hand on her new left panda ear, holding back a scream.
"You know you're the first person to live through the recombonation of human and red panda?" She asked, sounding proud.

"Oh you know you wanna see" Aaiden said jokingly still in his super hero pose, hands on his hips staring up dramatically. He grinned and the doctor sighed, leading him over to a treadmill by the wall, he hopped on and started to walk "Im not really in a running mood if you don't mind" He said. The doctor looked like she was about to pull all her hair out
"Aaiden.. I swear..."
"Dont swear by the moon! Swear by anything but the moon!" He said dramatically quoting Romeo and Juliet as started to run, grinning at her, he loved messing with the doctors.

"Oh sure. After all, that's always been my life-long dream; seeing some guy with hyena ears and what not in nothing but his boxers while he makes a doctor's life miserable. And here I thought I was hiding my thoughts pretty well," Athena joked right back, still unable to keep from laughing. It took a while for her to calm herself down, but when she did, she propped her legs up onto the table and moved to where she could lay comfortably on her stomach. Resting her chin on her hands, she stared at the wall, still too wierded out to look in Aaiden’s direction but listening to everything that went on as her black kitty-cat ears gave a couple of quick twitches towards the sounds.
"What shall I swear by?" she suddenly responded by quoting the line that Romeo was supposed to say afterwards, but suddenly paused with another giggle. "Hey, shouldn't you be quoting Romeo instead of Juliet? I feel weird saying a line that was meant for a guy."

((:lol: It's funny that you referred back to Romeo and Juliet since that's the story we're going over in my English class right now. Yep... I could resist but to quote the next line heheheh ))

Aaiden laughed "Hey I can Quote whoever I want whenever I want miss smarty pants and by the way 'Do not swear at all!" He said with a grin running on the treadmill not even breathing heavily yet. The dcotor sighed looking between the two and scribling on her pad. "And by the way you know you wanna see, im pretty sure these boxers glow in the dark.. no big deal or anything" He said with a laugh
