Roku kept in his hawk form. He fluttered down and landed on Dawn's shoulder, careful not to poke her too hard with his talons. "I hope he's doing alright," Roku muttered under his breath. "And not..." He trailed off on the last part.

Keller slipped into the drain. "Oh, this is disgusting." She said. A worker ran and tryed to get Bird. Bird fell off the counter, landing on her face. "Holly CRAP! She screamed, running in the room Cole was in and trying to trip the man with the knife.

Dawn nodded and looked down. "Me too." She murmured. "We need to hurry though. Laurent was in there...he had a knife." She said softly, sounding a little scared. She glanced up at the hole in the roof, waiting for Rain and Onyx. She heard Phyre in the room next to Cole's and couldn't help but smile a bit when she heard the scientist swear.

[Cloudsong]

Laurent opened the door to Cole's cage, and stuck the knife in. He put it to his son's neck, cutting it slowly in.

Cole didn't make any sound, squeezing his eyes together in pain.

Phyre howled loudly in victory as her teeth scored on the man's throat, and watched with grim satisfaction as he fell to the ground, clutching weakly at his neck as his body thrashed violently, his fellow workers stunned to a complete standstill. Phyre took the opportunity to run, swiftly exiting the room and into the hallway. She paused as she heard animal noises, and trotted to investigate, coming to a room in which utter chaos was in progress.

Dawn sighed. She was getting impatient. "Onyx and Rain can catch up." She murmured as she ran down the hall. She stopped at the door to the room where Cole and Laurent were. She saw Laurent press the knife up against Cole's throat. She looked up when Phyre approached the door, but turned back to the door.

Bird saw the man hurting Cole. She stared up at him. Slowly she stood on her back feet and walked over to him. She looked in the cage, hoping to stare the man. ((Bird's the the room Cole is in, Keller's in the drain.


"HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH, DOWN HERE!" Keller screamed, she wouldn't phase because sh didn't want to kill herself.

Dawn opened the door and ran inside. She ran towards Laurent, having no idea what she would do next.

((Is everyone ignoring me? Bird it right next to Cole's dad, staring at Cole. And Keller is in th drain in the room over, still a mouse.))

Laurent let go of the knife, hearing Dawn approach. He angrily grabbed his son, putting the knife to his throat. "One more step, and he dies."

Cole opened his eyes slightly, to see Dawn. "Dawn... go before its too late..." he choked out. But he was silenced as Laurent pushed the knife deep into his throat again.

"I'm warning you," Laurent snarled.
