Scarlett had stopped brushing her cat, and trailing the furry creature with her gaze, Rei watched as the cat went back up to the room. "Usually I'd root for Hufflepuff against all the other houses, but let's face it: Slytherins are superior," she said, finally responding to her joke after satsifying herself with the knowledge of where Scarlett's cat was going. She blew into the megaphone to test if it worked. The sound of her blowing into the megaphone got amplified loudly, as if a whoosh of wind had blown through the common room. Though, seeing where the common room was located, that would be impossible. Grinning with satisfaction, she stood up. "Yeah, totally. I'm starving. Let's go get some food," she said. Rei made sure to wrap the megaphone in a piece of cloth. She didn't really want to reveal it to the other houses, but maybe she could work on it more discreetly during breakfast.

Male - 16 - 6th year - Hufflepuff - Quidditch Beater - Halfblood - Form - Location: Hufflepuff Table - Tagged: Blythe Aster After that meeting with Professor Varja, Luke went back to the Hufflepuff dorms to freshen up. He thought about the professor's dilemma and smiled to himself in amusement. What an unusual encounter. He didn't expect Professor Varja, normally so professional, to have been troubled by her pet bird. She seemed to be the type to be normally in control, but he guessed that animals were unpredictable. Such as the half-Kneazle cat that he worried about tripping someone, but ended up tripping over her himself. After pacifying a very angry Crosspatch, he walked out of the Hufflepuff common room and headed to the great hall. He thought about the Quidditch game ahead of him with a smile. The weather had been quite nice. The sky was clear and blue, and the air was warm. Perfect for a game of Quidditch. He hoped it wouldn't rain later on. Entering the Great Hall, he made his way over to the Hufflepuff table. As he did so, he passed by Blythe, the Seeker of his team. With a smile, he greeted her. Blythe might not be in his year, but he made sure to stay on friendly terms with everyone, especially fellow Quidditch players. After all, teamwork was of utmost importance. "Good morning, Blythe," Luke said. "The weather's perfect for Quidditch today. Lucky for us, huh?"

Rosalie woke up, putting her hair into a ponytail. She ran into the common room, quickly greeting some people. She still felt the sting of the tattoo, which was odd. But maybe this time it wasn’t linked to her father. Maybe it was linked to a student? She didn’t really know. She shrugged and sat in a chair.

"Yeah she is. I enjoy her lessons too." Bree nodded to both Deyman and Skylar as they left, in a way thankful they had. "She'll likely know me by Bree, or that my parents breed things like Kneazels and that sort." Bree laughed, looking at Kit.
Bree did enjoy Albiona's lessons, maybe not as much as Professor Sharr's since transfiguration was her favourite, but learning about the creatures that inhabited the world she was part of was amazing. "You looking forward to quidditch? I am so nervous, seeker for Slyt-" Bree stopped, aware she was starting to babble on, something which she felt turned people off of her. She dipped her head, and found an interesting spot on the floor to look at. Bree hoped she wouldn't annoy Kit, she had felt attracted to him since she had first seen him. Rei had teased her about it, so had Scarlett, since they knew she had a massive crush on him.

Sitting down he looked up and down the table, noting who was up and that his team were all correct and present. It was the first time this morning he had let the nerves which had been building slowly in his stomach be acknowledged.
"Well done James." he scolded himself quietly, spreading jam onto his toast. He didn't really eat much for breakfast, preferring to take some fruit to eat while he had his morning lessons. The exception was match days, where he looked to eat as much energy fuelled food as he could.Skyet wrote:name: Henry James

Henry had lain in his bed for an extra half hour, cuddling his cat Blue and reading a History of Magic. So far, Henry had felt like he fit in at Hogwarts, and had made friends easily. Right now, he was excited for his first ever quidditch match. He had had some lessons in quidditch from a strict women, named Madame Hooch. Henry remembered Lockie telling him not to get on her bad side, and that she would expel anyone who didn't listen to her instructions. Henry didn't fancy trying his luck, so had tried his best to do what he was told. Henry hoped he might be as good as Lockie someday, but so far, Henry hadn't shown much more talent than much of his classmates. He had however, excelled in Herbology. Gardening was something Henry had enjoyed at home, especially since his mum managed a gardens of an old castle and had always brought him along. Magical plants however, were even better than normal muggle plants. Potions appealed to him too, since they often used ingredients that a wizard could grow themselves.
Finally getting up, Henry looked across to Aaron's bed, trying to decide whether to wake him up, so they could go to breakfast together.

BLYTHE ASTER
Hufflepuff || 13 || Location: Great Hall|| Tags: open (briefly)
Blythe chewed on her lip, nerves taking over her thoughts as her mind drifted to the Quidditch match that would take place later that day. The sneaking suspicions she wasn't ready for it that had plagued her all week were banging so loudly on the front of her mind that she almost missed Lucas talking to her. She started a little, turning her head to face him. "Lucky for you, you mean? I've got a feeling I'm going to get creamed by the Slytherin seeker," She cast a glance at said girl, Bree, before turning her head to her lap, where her fingers tangled into her robes. "Be honest. I'm only a third year among fifth, sixth, and seventh years, and I'm a muggleborn. Even though I've been sneaking practices between my classes, I am definatly out of practice" Blythe nervously rambled, her hands switching between travelling through the air and further bunching up her clothes.
