You stop reading the bit of parchment you untied from the owl's leg. Either your parents have taken it from you, or a sibling has snatched it. If your from a wizarding family, you of course, now all about Hogwarts and the magical world. However, if you were born into a muggle family, you've never heard of it before. No matter what though, your excited at the thought of attending this magical school and the mysteries that await you...

Some students are returning, some for the last time. Others are away to start out on their journey. The Wizarding world is in peace, for now.

Hogwart's School Rules - may be broken
School Grounds
- No student may enter the Forbidden Forest without the prior permission of a member of staff or being escorted by a staff member
- Students may only leave school grounds if:

- They have obtained permission from A) parental, B) staff, C) emergancy
- Hogsmeade (however students must be back at Hogwarts by 6:30pm)
- It is the holidays

Classes
- Students must be in timetabled classes unless given permission to be out of them
- Students must be respectful of their Professors, classmates, etc.
- Changes to classes may be done through Head of Houses
Dorms
- Boys may not enter girls dormitories and vice versa
- You are expected to return to your dorms at:

- 1st, 2nd and 3rd years: 9:30pm
- 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th years: 11:30pm

- Dorms should be kept tidy and damage reported to Prefects, Head Boy/Girl or Head of Houses
- Never share the password

Main Plot
It's been years since Voldemort was defeated. So long in fact, the even the famous kids of the Golden Trio have been and left Hogwarts. The Wizarding World thinks it's seen the last of dark wizards and witches. However on the sidelines, some Death Eaters linger, hungry for the power they once had.

And at Hogwarts, a young wizard/witch begins to gain followers, much in the same way the young Tom Riddle once did. Are they going to repeat the actions of Riddle or what are they planning?

"Wow, look how busy it is." Bree looked around the station, taking in the amount of people milling around. Kings Cross was a busy station, she knew that. However it seemed particularly busy today.

"It's a muggle holiday today I believe." her mother, Serena nodded as they pushed the trolley through the crowds and toward the pillar which was the gateway to Platform 9 3/4. Sitting in her cage, perched atop Bree's trunks, was her owl Aeron. The pale coloured Barn Owl attracted some muggle's attention, so they pointed and nodded toward the women. Bree didn't really like this part of her journey to Hogwarts however it didn't last long at all. "Right Bree, we've got half an hour. But looks like it's busy to get on."

Looking at the crowd beside the pillar, Bree could easily pick out those which were wizards and those who were muggles. The wizard and witch parents never really could blend in. She supposed herself lucky that her parents always looked like posh muggles when they dressed to take her here. As they stopped to wait, Bree looked at her mother. Serena was a Black, and related to some of the most notorious wizards and witches of the age. However Serena stood there, in a women's business suit with her dark auburn hair pulled into a high, sleek ponytail. Muggles would never guess she was really a witch, nor would they guess Bree was. She had dutch braided her long red hair, and put on yellow Hollister spirit jersey and ripped jeans. She blended right in, apart from the owl.

Lockie stood at the entrance to a carriage. It was the one reserved for the Head Boy and Girl, and the prefects. There wasn't many people on the platform yet, with a while to go before the train left. Lockie looked over at his parents, who were standing with his little brother. Smiling, he hoped he could make his brother's first year the best it could be.

Meanwhile however, he had to make sure all first years got aboard the Hogwarts Express. A tug on his ear reminded him that his owl, a Verreaux's eagle owl, Borya was sitting on his shoulder. "Time for you to go back in mate." Lockie stroked the owl before placing him back into his cage. He had been given Borya as a present for being made Head Boy and his exam results. Placing the now caged owl back onto his trunks, a conductor came to take the trolley of luggage to load it. Meanwhile, Lockie got the list of names out, and ticked off his brother's. There was a lot of first years this year, which the Headmaster had said would rise again. Lockie stood out on the platform, the only student in his Hogwarts robes. Something that was required of him as Head Boy, and the Head Girl. Pulling another list out, Lockie looked at the list of prefects, some of which he knew, and other names which he didn't recognise.

Henry stood nervously next to his parents, watching his brother out of the corner of his eye. He would have a lot to live up to considering he was Head Boy. And I'm only a first year, Henry thought as he began to wheel his trolley over to the luggage car which he had watched some other students, of which were few just now, do. As he passed the trolley to a conductor, he headed back to his parents.

"You alright Henry?" his father Daniel asked. Henry looked at his father, and nodded, smiling. Henry remembered when his letter had been delivered. He was so exited. Especially after hearing Lockie's stories about Hogwarts. And his parents had been so happy too, even though they were muggles.

"What house do you think I'll be put into?" Henry asked. He knew that siblings were often put in the same house, however Henry didn't feel like he would fit into Ravenclaw. Henry didn't know enough about the houses however, to be adverse to one and favour another.

The first of September- the day Kurokado Rei waited for with great anticipation every year- had finally arrived. Rei strolled into the station while pushing a trolley stacked with trunks and bags, full of energy. Her parents walked closely behind her, escorting her to the platform. Rei's dark brown eyes swept over the surroundings, taking in the sight of all the people bustling about. Another year of fun to look forward to in Hogwarts! Rei could see some people wearing outlandish outfits, instantly deducing that they were part of the wizarding world. Fortunately, her family didn't look too weird, even if her parents wore formal outfits. Rei's mother, Kaede, was wearing a dress with flowery patterns embroidered on it. Her black hair was tied into a bun. Her father, Hiro, wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath and long black pants. He was wearing a striped tie. Rei, on the other hand, looked the most out of place within her family. She was wearing a fashionable black jacket with a white T-shirt underneath, as well as long dark blue jeans. Her dark brown hair was let loose, the ends curling inside above her shoulders. Her layered bangs were swept to the left. A small bulge stuck out from the left pocket of her jacket, which occasionally moved around and made small humming noises like it did just then. Rei stuck her hand into her pocket. "Shut up, Maki," she murmured, her fingers stroking the Pygmy Puff tucked away inside her pocket in an attempt to shut it up.

As she made her way to the platform, her eyes eagerly darted around. She spotted many witches and wizards mulling about among the Muggles. Some stood out because of their outlandish outfits, others because of their owls and belongings. Rei was fortunate that none of her belongings really stood out, though they still stood out somewhat because they were Japanese. She also spotted a few familiar faces and a bunch of new, younger ones. First-years! They were all so cute and innocent. Rei was going to have some fun with them. She wondered how many of them would be sorted into Slytherin- the house of her pride and joy. It was certainly a good year to look forward to, although soured by the thought of the O.W.Ls waiting for her at the end of her year. How dreadfully tedious.

Rei soon arrived at the platform. Her eyes constantly darted around, looking for a certain person. She was looking for Luke, her childhood friend who was a year older than her. "It looks like your friend isn't here," Rei's mother, Kaede, pointed out. Rei nodded in agreement. "Yeah, seems like it. Maybe he's already on Platform 9 3/4." She noticed a familiar person standing by the pillar, with her long red hair braided into a dutch braid. Standing next to her was whom Rei assumed to be her mother, wearing a business suit. Unlike most of the others, the woman was dressed normally. Rei waved cheerfully to the girl as she approached. "Heeeey, Bree!" she said when she was close enough. Her parents gave a polite bow to them. Rei knew the girl- they were in the same year and house, after all. "Whew, isn't it crowded today? I can barely move around like this!" she said, cheerfully. She made sure to give a respectful nod to Bree's mother. As much as she was an annoying, rebellious brat, she still had some degree of respect towards elders.

Lucas Debenham pushed his trolley towards the conductor. His hazel eyes surveyed his surroundings as he did so. Students and their parents were milling about, minding their own business. The garbled murmurs of the crowd filled his ears. After he passed it to the conductor to be stored in the luggage cart, he returned to his father, who was standing out of everyone's way to make sure he didn't block anyone. Luke's mother had been too busy with her duties in the Ministry of Magic to come and escort him to the station, what with all the paperwork piling up on her. Because his father was a Muggle-born, he dressed up normally. Luke, too, was dressed up very casually. He just wore a yellow T-shirt and jeans. He didn't pay much attention to how he dressed, seeing as he was going to have to change to the Hogwarts uniform soon anyways. The boy stood next to his father in silence, observing the people around doing their own business. A ball of fur curled up on his father's feet, which on closer inspection, turned out to be an abnormally furry cat. Upon noticing this, Luke gave a small, exasperated sigh. "Of all the places... Here, Dad, let me move Crosspatch for you," he said. Wrapping his hands around the large cat, he lifted her with ease. However, the cat's eyes shot wide open and she hissed at him, paws flailing about. After throwing a bit of a tantrum, Crosspatch's anger subsided, submitting to the strong and steady arms of Luke and simply hanging there with a grumpy look on her face. Luke turned his attention to his father.

"Good luck for this year, Luke," his father, Soren, said with a friendly smile on his face. "You gotta make Hufflepuff win this year, got it?"
"Thanks, Dad," Luke said. "I'll do my best." Luke was a Beater for the Hufflepuff team. During the holidays, he hadn't remained sedentary. No, he kept on training himself, working on his physical strength. His annoying childhood friend who happened to live in the same neighborhood, Kurokado Rei, had helped out in her own... twisted way. He had to constantly look out for her pranks, but it really did help him with his reflexes. After all, it was a necessary skill to be a Beater, looking out for Bludgers and hitting them towards the opposing team. Where was she, anyways? His hazel eyes kept a lookout for the Japanese girl, as he continued to observe his surroundings. It seemed like there were many first-years coming to Hogwarts this year. It was always a joy to welcome new students to Hufflepuff, due to his fondness for kids. He wondered how many of them would be joining his beloved house this year.

Soomi stood at the edge of the platform and was saying her final goodbyes to her parents. She finally turned around and saw a familliar 7th Year boy standing on the platform. "Oh My Gosh! You must be Lockie. I'm Soomi; the new Head Girl.", she chirped. When she had been accepted into the position of Head Girl she was ecstatic; most of her relatives had been prefects and she now had a feeling of being special. She was no longer outcasted at family dinners and her parents finally took her seriously. Soomi was going to make sure she was the best Head Girl Hogwarts had ever had.

She looked at the list the boy was holding and smiled. "Bree and Kaia! They're both really talented. I'd have been surprised if Bree didn't become a prefect; I just had a big hunch that she would. My mom said I should invite her during the Easter holidays so that both of our moms could catch up. They were in the same class!", Soomi covered her mouth but then spoke again,"I'm sorry that I'm rambling it's just that I'm still so excited over this whole Head Girl thing. I genuinely cried when I had got my letter..."

The young boy stood on the platform accompanied by his mother, unsmiling and judging. She led him over to a crowd of Slytherins and their parents but Aaron didn't take too much care. He looked around and saw two students wearing robes, the girl seemed to be passionately talking about something. He also saw a boy around his age with his parents and a boy who was talking to his father. He turned to look at his mother; her stern eyebrows and tense smile, he knew she was trying to be presentable as much as a "blood traitor" could be. Aaron never understood the term; if mom and dad loved each other that should have been enough, right?

Despite having been through this process five times already, Skylar was still quite nervous as he walked through King's Cross Station, his parents close with him. They all dressed casually, blending in well with the other Muggles. His parents saw little point in attempting to dress all fancy and formal - if anything, it made it easier to spot those people in the crowd, in their opinion. Skylar was quite disappointed to have learnt, though, that his older brother had decided to forego seeing him off - apparently he was too busy, which Skylar understood, but it still hurt a little.

Before long, he'd arrived at the correct place, and he was now faced with having to go through the pillar. Skylar, and his parents, just walked briskly and casually, shortly stepping through the barrier, where the scarlet engine of the Hogwarts Express was positioned on the tracks, gleaming.

Skylar turned towards his parents - he'd figured that he may as well board now, to find a decent place. He first grabbed a book from his luggage, then he took it over to be loaded onto the train. He briefly hugged his parents, to say goodbye to them for the term, then he boarded the train. Immediately, he slid open the door of a compartment that was somewhere in the middle of the carriage he'd boarded, and sat down.

Bree turned to see Rei, who she had shared a dorm with since first year. "Rei! I know. Mum says it's some sort of muggle holiday or something." Bree smiled and nodded to Rei's parents. "Want to go through? I've got to see the Head Boy and Girl before I board like." she laughed, pulling her prefect badge out of her back pocket.

"Hello Rei, Mr and Mrs Kurokado." Serena greeted the girl before going to talk to her parents. As stern as she could be, Serena was nothing like the family she was from. She had shunned them when she married into the Fraser Clan, and had a very good reputation in the world, especially with her work with dragons. Bree's father meanwhile, worked as an auror, and was away a lot. Bree turned to her mother and told her she was going onto the platform, knowing she would follow in a couple of minutes. Seeing a gap in the crowd, Bree took a run at the wall and was soon through to the platform.

Lockie was captain for Ravenclaw, and had to replace a few players this year. He looked at Soomi and smiled, "Your mum was at Hogwarts with Serena Fraser, no wait she was Black before she married?" Lockie came from a muggle family, yet he had developed a good understanding of the wizard families that existed. He had to considering he was applying to be Curse Breaker for Gringotts this year. His head of house had told him he couldn't see why Lockie wouldn't get the job if he put his mind to it.
