[Mayiamaru]

Mayia's eyes softened and she muttered a quiet thank you to Troy before passing out. Physical weakness and physical activity took a toll on her body and her mind, so passing out was the only thing left. She wouldn't be able to stand if she wanted to. At this moment, the marking around her waist was pulsing, the dark glow making the mark visible through Mayia's dress, but just barely.

Knight panted and the arrow's vanished. His marking was back to normal, and his head was spinning from the huge loss of energy. When his eyes came back into focus, he saw that Pandora was hurt and rushed to her, his eyes wide with fear. "Oh my gosh... Sorry about that! I didn't mean to." He said, ripping his shirt and using that to wipe away the blood. Rioku and Hunter were outside the window, Rioku having traded senses with Skye, showing him what happened.

Skye got the scene and let out a breath. Rioku. I left a package of gause and herbs within Nightingale's home. Infiltrate the home and take the package to them. Have both swallow an herb and have Knight tend to the wound. Skye said to Rioku through a mental link, walking with Shan holding his hand like a lost child. "Not much further now." They were walking on a path in the forest at this time. The people who passed them before they got here were just staring.

Troy's eyes widened when Mayia became limp in his embrace, the girl was beginning to slip from his arms. But, he scooped Mayia up into his muscular arms, holding her delicately against his chest. Troy sighed, staring down at Mayia's slumbering face. He turned on his heels, heading down the sidewalk in the direction of his home.

Pandora clenched her teeth together tightly, tears of pain forming in her eyes. Terrible pain shot through her wounded arm, blood dripping from the large gash. Pandora allowed Knight to wipe the blood off of her arm, but moved away from him when the pain became to intense. She moaned, slowly crouching down low to the floor, holding onto her wounded arm.

Shan's body vanished as soon as the rays of sunlight hit her, but her hand was still clasped tightly around Skye's. The faint sound of light footsteps could be heard, but Shan was invisible to all those around her. A shadow fell across where Shan had been at Skye's side, and for a brief moment, Shan came back into view. She was a ghost, and nothing but a faint outline of her body could be seen in the light, but when she walked under a shadow, she became perfectly visible again. Shan held onto Skye's hand tightly, her fingers entwined within his.

"I caused it, I should be able to fix it!" Knight growled at himself, summoning his bow and pulling the string back for an arrow with a green aura. This had better work.... He thought to himself, releasing the healing arrow and letting it do its job. The wound was at the most only heal the wound about half way to Knight's skill, since Knight never did practice healing very often at all, but he hoped that the effect would be more. This was the worst thing he had ever done, in his mind.

Skye was a bit confused with Shan and why she held his hand so tightly. He couldn't hear a single thought from her, so for the first time in a while, he was in the dark. People were staring though, and literally screaming as they would run away. They would stare when it was just Skye, but he wasn't use to the screaming unless his crimes of the past were spread along whatever area in which he lived. The thoughts made it clear that it was Shan though. The ghost girl holding his hand just frightening to the humans of this nameless town.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Pandora sat quietly on the ground, her back hunched over as she grasped her arm. She was moaning lowly under her breath, pain coursing through her body. Pandora reluctantly opened her eyes, glancing up at Knight out of the corner of her eye, but her vision was blurred by the tears that had formed up in her eyes. She winced when yet another arrow hit her arm, but what overcame her next was not pain but instead relief washed over her. Pandora looked down at her wound; the blood was now gone, but there was a large bruise where the wound had been. She let out a sigh, her pain dulling until her arm felt numb. Pandora looked up at Knight, her expression still one of pain but her eyes were soft.

Shan noticed the multiple eyes resting upon her and Skye, causing her to shrink back and hide behind Skye. She cringed when the first shriek hit the air, her eyes widening. Shan frowned, holding onto Skye tightly, a canine like whine escaping her throught, the same sound she had made while mimicking Hunter. She stepped closer to Skye, walking in his shadow, so she became clearly visible.

Knight knelt beside Pandora with a hurt expression, very worried for her. "Pan. Say something. Anything!" He said, just wanting to hear her voice and make sure that she was going to be alright. He knew nothing about healing. He barely even knew the feeling of pain in the first place. "Please be alright...." He said, unable to cry, but it was evident that he wanted to so badly, watching Pandora silently.

Skye looked down at Shan as she hide behind him. He finally felt like he was supposed to do something, so he stopped abruptly, shutting his eyes as people began to crowd. What was strange was that his mouth was moving, but there was no sound coming from his mouth. Soon, the wind picked up and his voice was carried on it. "Shame.... The living have never given respect to those of the dead or those unalike from their own... I witness this and all I must say is that I pity you all..." Skye's voice more menacing than before. It had deepened further, giving him a sinister air. His eyes were now an eerie yellow. Once his eyes returned to normal, the crowd had dispersed, their fear again placed, but hidden. Skye began to walk again, like nothing happened.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Pandora shrank her head back between her shoulders, her muscles tensing briefly. She bit into her lower lip softly, pulling her hands up against her chest. "Are you feeling better?" Pandora asked in a weak voice, staring at Knight with wide eyes. She reluctantly held out a hand, placing it lightly on Knight right forearm. Pandora scooted up beside Knight, smiling weakly at him.

Shan held onto Skye, but she eventually eased her grip on him. She gasped when Skye stopped, having to dig her heels into the ground before she could bump into Skye. She looked up at Skye, growing nervous, but the ghostly white girl couldn't pale from her uncomfort, her body grew translucent instead.

"I should be asking you that! What were you thinking?... " Knight said, wrapping his arms around Pandora and pulling her onto his lap in a single movement. He held her close and just stopped his breath. He really didn't need to breath, but it really was just a habit he couldn't break. "Don't be so reckless...." He whispered, clenching his teeth, one tear slipping from his eyes. It may not have been much, but it was the most he had ever cried in his entire life.

Skye noticed that Shan seemed quite nervous. "Is there something wrong, Kami?" Skye asked out of a light concern, slowing his pace just slightly. His good intention probably scared her, but he needed to know just what was wrong so he knew what he would be apologizing for.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Pandora frowned slightly, but allowed Knight to pull her up onto his lap, feeling much like a child. "I... I was just trying to help you..." she murmured, gently placing a hand on Knight's chest. Pandora curled her fingers up against her palm, holding onto Knight's shirt in a weak grip. She sighed, resting her head against Knight's shoulder.

Shan walked close beside Skye, making sure to remain in his shadow. "I don't... Like.... S-screams..." she mumbled, her mind haunted with the terrified screams of those afraid of her. Shan sighed softly under her breath, glancing down at her bare feet. "We th-there yet?" she asked, finally looking up at Skye.

Knight didn't know what to say to that and just held Pandora quietly. After a few moments, he let go and pulled back to look at Pandora. "I don't want to see you hurt... Just be more careful next time... Please?" He said, looking into Pandora's eyes worriedly. This kind of behaviour was still pretty strange, but he didn't care anymore and took to heart that Pandora meant more to him than winning his competition.

Skye nodded lightly. "Alright. We should be there soon enough." He said, just as they left the ground of the town and entered the forest boundary. Going deeper and deeper into the forest, Skye finally brought Shan to his cabin. Rioku and Hunter just now arriving as well. "Welome." Rioku said, even if Shan couldn't hear him. Hunter just sat, wagging his tail and watching.

Elizabeth sighs and looks up at the sky, she was starting to feel lonely in the town, she thinks to herself "mabye it's time for me to leave tomorrow..." then she looks at the river and watches the waves roll by
