At the mention of being watched, the elemental slid off the rock and onto the ground. He took a step closer to the cat, ignoring Pauline's glare burning into his temple. "I'm okay with that. Pauline managed to end up here as well, so hopefully there will be an acquaintance or two from yo-" His words were cut off by the sound of something moving in the bushes nearby. He felt himself stiffen slightly. Mona darted in front of them, wielding his saber. To his surprise, a human looking sprite- Sprite? It looked like some kind of fairy/sprite thing, to him at least. His curiosity was quickly snuffed out when the cat, in an alarmed manner, claimed it was a 'shadow' and it was able to kill them. How, he wasn't sure, but he didn't question it. At the moment, Morgana was the one he trusted more.
He scrambled out of the way with surprising agility for someone his age, just as blue light formed behind the cat. He watched the fight with wide eyes, luckily it only took a couple of slashes from Mora and his... Holographic version? He wasn't sure how something could evaporate from thin air like that and be able to do physical damage. Sure, summoners were able to summon their weapons but... That was different. They were actual objects, not a moving... Thing. Morgana turned to them, paws on his hips, looking rather proud of himself.
"Yes. I'm alright." He answered, somewhat shaky from the sudden excitement and impressed by Mona's willingness to throw himself into the pit for whoever he was with. but more confused than anything. "What was that? You called it a shadow?"

Pauline felt her hackles rise at the sight of the creature. It was morbid. A pygmy human, smaller than a child with a pair of wings attached to its back. She'd seen people with wings on their backs before, but not that size. Now fluffed up to twice her size, she snarled loudly, only to have that dratted cat cut in over top of her. So Morgana wasn't scared of the tiny cackling human. Well then, neither was she. She stubbornly sat back down on the, forcing her fur to lie flat again. Watching the short battle through slitted eyes. It didn't take the cat much work to turn it to black smoke with his saber, especially with the help of his 'persona' that he'd summoned with a command. When Prime begun asking questions, she leapt from her place on the rock, fitting herself between the elemental and the cat. "Yeah, you seem to know a bit about 'em." Her tone was mocking compared to the other man's. "You'd think seeing as they're so dangerous and there's enough of them about that we've run into one already, you would've told us about 'em by now.""
