Elvina watched the dog before she moved so she could let Sammy out of the carrier. She watched the big dog closely. As she was working on letting her puppy out of the carrier, she fell off the bed. She hit the ground with a thump. She tried to keep from crying from her head hurting as she watched the dog and doorway.

Demon whined and padded towards Lacey. Lacey walked into the bedroom and helped Elvina back onto the bed. She let Sammy out of the cage and left. Demon stayed by the bed, panting happily.

Elvina held Sammy and her blanket close. She was scared and she wanted her siblings.

Demon lay his head on the bed and looked up at Elvina with big brown eyes. He remembered her well. He wagged his tail.

Elvina watched the big dog with wide ocean blue eyes. She didn't remember the dog in front of her and he scared her a bit.

Demon let his tounge poll. He licked the puppy the Elvina's hand. He whined quietly. " Shut up Demon!" Jace called over the blare of the tv. Demon whimpered tearfully and shied into the side of the bed.

Elvina watched Demon before she reached her hand out to it slowly.
