"Fair enough," he responded. Even if she did use her full strength the burns wouldn't be something new to him though he flames might be different than those he dealt with in the past. He had been caught in other mage's flames plenty of times. Maybe he had higher tolerance to such given the fact that he was supposed to be the one to inherit Grima's power and become a god. Such a power would have been useful now though losing himself completely to Grima's will wouldn't have them in a good place. If only such power could have been controlled and used for their benefit. He hadn't told anyone that he had been looking into trying to get his brand to reappear to possibly use such a power if the situation became dire enough. If it did ever come to that they'd have to kill him as soon as their mission was finished to assure that he didn't kill them all in the process.
Finding himself drifting too far into his thoughts again, the tactician snapped from his brief daze and quickly shrugged his cloak off. As often as he wore it in battle, he saw no reason to wear it now. He didn't even bother to grab the tomes from its pockets either. During his time in this place he had managed to learn his magic without his tomes being directly in hand. As long as they were close enough, he'd be able to use the magic. Besides, he had spent years memorizing the spells within their pages and quickly uttering them had become natural to him.
Allowing his eyes to look back toward the woman before him, he briefly studied her weapon noting that he had to avoid getting hit by it at all costs. Easier said then done. Lifting a hand, Robin readied himself. Without either of his swords this would certainly prove to be an interesting fight. "I am ready whenever.

"But are we really safe when those things are basically sitting on our doorstep? I know I'm not doing anything to fight back against them, but I have my own reason...." she trailed off as her gaze dropped to her lap. What if she was able to awaken the light stone? Would Black even be freed or would Reshiram be the only thing that was? The legendary certainly would prove to be a useful ally and maybe then she would join the army with its help. The creature would at least be able to stand up to the size of the beasts and that was something she knew would be beneficial. But would it even listen to her commands? Its rightful trainer was Black and if he was lost for good then could she actually control it? Then again if she could awaken the legendary then she was already deemed worthy of being its trainer much like Black had. "Anyways, I thought the army goes out past the forcefield and tries to fight those things. Is that not true?" She had heard of such happening which was why she had kept her distance from it all. Maybe she had been wrong about it all but if they didn't try to fight back against them then what were they doing? There were plenty of questions she had though she bit her tongue.
((Sorry for the lack of coding. I am on mobile.))
Ashirah held Trueflame in her right hand and pulled her shield off her back and into her left hand; something she had done a thousand times by now. She took her stance as Robin announced he was ready. Ashirah stood with her feed apart, legs bent, ready to run or jump in any direction if need be. She wasn't as fast as some of their troops, especially the ones in light armor, but she was no tank.
Ashirah took a deep breath and let it go. Suddenly she sprung forward and trust at Robin, aiming for his middle.

The Judge glanced down again at his paw, pretending to look for some misplaced fuzz or ruffled fur so to hide his drooping smile. Why, it might almost look like he 'cared' if that ever-present grin dropped! But of course, White's question hit the nail on the head with the Judge's current predicament.
"Perhaps, perhaps not. The force field has held thus far. What reason have we to believe it will collapse if it has not already? As for the beasts...that is another matter."
The cat looked up again, his face composed once more. He leaned forward and sprung onto the bench. Now atop his makeshift throne, the Judge felt secure, "Riddle me this, my hominid companion: in all the missions us soldiers make beyond our glowing prison, have the numbers of the beasts visibly decreased? Yes, they may diminish for a time, but the damnable things always replenish. We are like an elephant trying to squash an anthill.
