He had no idea what going on, and it was really bothering him. One minute he was with his crew, the next he was with some random people. Soon enough, the young doctor was serving as these people's doctor. It wasn't like he mind, helping people was his job..however, he wanted to be with his friends. Maybe..just Maybe they where here somewhere." I really hope this will be enough medicine on my part..i can always make more..but my supplies are running short." Chopper poured the medcine he made in a large jar and labbled what it was before placing it on shelf above him. Afterwards, He grabbed a notebook and started to write in it."Ok, medcine for cleaning wounds is finished. What else needs to be done..medicine for illness, antidote, pain relief"

Chopper sighed, grabbing his notebook and jumped down from the chair he was sitting in. He needed some air, so he decided to go outside to the training grounds, sitting on the sidelines. Once again, he opened the notebook and started to check the supply list. Hopefully they had enough at least.

Risyn||35||Worsen||Death Knight||Tagged: Geralt
"Comes with the territory, I'm afraid," Risyn said, smiling wryly and leaning on her sword. "Death Knights aren't really a happy bunch. Turns out there isn't a lot out there to enjoy if you're undead." She gave a harsh, bark-like laugh. "Enough about me, though," she said, "What about you? You smell human enough, but I've never seen a human with eyes like that." Her own eerily glowing eyes roved up and down the Witcher's body, sizing him up and taking him in. At first glance, he looked unassuming, perhaps even handsome in a roguish sort of way, but Risyn could see the toned muscle in his arms, the ease of his stance.
This was a man who'd seen combat. More, perhaps, than even her. The Death Knight was suddenly glad they were on the same side. He'd be a terror on the battlefield, no doubt about that.

geralt of rivia | the witcher | location - training grounds | tagged - Risyn

"Me, huh?" Geralt snorted derisively, although he didn't attempt to cut the conversation short, like he'd normally do whenever the conversation shifted to himself. Thinking on it, what was the harm in explaining anything? He was the last Witcher, more than likely, forever and always. Secrets weren't secrets when there were no one to keep 'em. "The eyes usually give me away...but a human smell...that's new." He let out a low, gravelly chuckle, smoothly sheathing Iris within its leather embroidered sheathe.

"As I said, I'm a Witcher. It's not just a title. As a kid, I was taken to a place called Kaer Mohan, and underwent intense training and painful...'mutations', in order to become strong enough to slay monsters. Everything after that is a long and boring story." Geralt paused, allowing his own sharp gaze to lock onto Risyn's form. The armor was the first hint that she was a formidable warrior, all titles aside. Her demeanor only solidified that fact.

"People consider me inhuman...and they could be right. They could be wrong." He let out another chuckle, this one humorless. "Doesn't matter much to me, as long as the job's done. My current job just so happens to be a war."

Geralt peered closer, his golden eyes narrowing even more. For a second, he simply stared at the warrior, eyes roaming from her sword, to her armor,to her scarlet hair, and back to her glowing blue eyes. Satisfied, he nodded. "I'm guessing you have a story more exciting than mine, Risyn." The unfamiliar name had a formidable ring to it.

      Robin The Tactician
      ───────────────────────────────────
22 Male FE: 13 Leader Tagged: Ashirah

Her words caught him off guard. He knew it was only right that he too put his life on the line whenever the troops went beyond the forcefield yet his training time was often limited due to how little time he had outside of his other work. Could he truly be considered a strong leader? That was always a question that was on his mind. It troubled him often though he typically kept such a worry to himself. He knew not all were going to like him. That was simply how life was and he had learned that back home given that his father literally wanted to sacrifice him to Grima.

Finding himself in yet another brief daze, a sheepish smile crossed the tactician's lips and he gave a small nod of his head. "Perhaps that would be a proficient use of time. It has been quite some time since I actually sparred with another or even used my magic for that matter," he admitted. On the previous mission he had stayed back among the ground troops and used his levin sword to create a distraction rather than using his magic to do so. Then again such a sword could easily be considered part of his magic given the abilities it possessed. "Though if we do spar, I warn you in advance I won't be going all out like you might hope. That could get far too dangerous for us to do that in this place." As much as he'd love to put up a good fight, he had to be aware that such a thing might be destructive to their surroundings and he couldn't afford to damage parts of their base because he got carried away.

Shifting herself on the bench, her gaze moved to the feline before her and a faint smile crossed her lips. Though she had no part in the army like he apparently did, she had met him several times before mostly because he seemed interested in her Pokemon or at least that was what she assumed was his reasoning for continuously returning to visit her. She couldn't stay she wasn't curious about him either. He was unlike her own creatures to say the least though during her time in this placed she had learned much about the creatures that hailed from other lands. It still excited her to learn of such things though she still wished to return home and once more be united with Black. Sure she was technically with him given that he was trapped with the stone she carried, but she figured the only way to truly freeing him was still back in her own world.

"Oh, my morning has gone well, I suppose. Nothing too out of the ordinary," she mused as she reached into her bag of sweets to pull out a blueberry muffin. It had easily become one of her favorite morning treats since she had arrived and would be something she missed if she was able to return home. "What brings you out this way today? I thought you were part of the army or whatever?" It seemed odd to her that the cat would join such ranks and she had never bothered to ask. His reasons were his own business and she had no right to be nosy about it. It was the same with her reasons for not joining the army yet she was somewhat open about such things. Besides, she was hopeful that one day the army would manage to find a solution to their problems. Maybe then she would aid them in taking back their homes.

edward elric|15|fma|male

the winged girl had startled edward a bit. he looked up at her. she looked a bit older than edward, with long brown hair and a thing build. er, hullo." edward managed to say. he was still extremely frustrated with the dummy. "you know, i need a real opponent, like a real person or something. not this," he gestured to the dummy, "this doesn't fight back." edward said to the girl. he took a slow step forward, "I'm edward by the way." he said with a smile.

his mind wandered to his brother, as it always did. he wondered if he was alright, he wasn't fighting in this like he was. alphonse elric was one to fight, but to manage without edward was some other story. edward knew that he could find alphonse in central with winry when he came back home, if he came back. he tried to think positively and think that alphonse was alright.

he turned back the the winged girl, he hoped he didn't miss any thing as his mind was wandering.

Holly // Hawk Laguz // Female // FE: 6 & 7 // Slayer // Location: Training Grounds // Tagged: Edward

Even in his reply the boy seemed frustrated but, that was understandable, given his next action was a gesture and a a comment directed towards the dummy next to him.

"It's nice to meet you, Edward, my name is Holly." she replied, returning the smile, "And yeah, I do agree that real opponents tend to be more productive as far as training goes so, when something doesn't fight back, I can see it being a bit frustrating."

She then noticed that Edward's mind seemed to have wandered off and figured it was to thoughts about the whole scenario they were in, fighting the beasts like they were, one couldn't help but wonder how those they'd left behind were doing...if they were alive; she was no exception to this as, briefly, she herself did occasionally think about her friends and family at times.

Holly then rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly before speaking again, "This may sound like a stupid question but um...do you prefer being called a 'human'? It's just the fact that in my realm, that word is kinda used towards your kind as an insult. Of course, there are several that prefer it despite that fact so I'm not opposed to addressing them as such; especially since that seems to be the common term here."

Risyn||35||Worsen||Death Knight||Tagged: Geralt
Well, that explained the unsettling feeling Risyn got from Geralt. He was literally made to slay people like her. In another world, they'd probably be enemies. "Not much more exciting," she said, "replace Kaia...Keo... wherever you said with Icecrown Citadel, replace training with mind control, and replace monsters with people, and I'm pretty much the same as you. Wasn't a kid when they got me, though." Risyn's vision flickered, and for a moment, she was back on Azeroth, screams resounding in her ears, smoke singing her nostrils, a worgen bound and kneeling on the floor before her. Hammond. He had been her best friend. Perhaps even more than that.
It was strange. She was pretty much the polar opposite of the Witcher, yet Risyn couldn't help but feel an odd sort of kinship with him. She sensed that he too would do whatever it took to get the job done, and he wouldn't lose any sleep over it. "It's still a bit strange," she said, looking up at the force field dome, "I've seen the world get saved so many times, never thought I'd be doing it myself. 'Course, that's if our leader doesn't get us all killed first." The Death Knight turned her eyes to the pair at the other end of the field, the white-haired boy and the Night Elf that wasn't actually a Night Elf, but was something entirely different, apparently."I ain't old," she said, "but I doubt I could've led an army at his age. I hope he has what it takes."

Yet another nightmare had plagued his head and caused him to abruptly awake. The moment always seemed to replay in his head over and over again. He couldn't escape the loss of Mythra/Pyra and the burden it put on him. She had sacrificed herself for his safety and allowed him to escape into his world only to leave him with her sword and core crystal. Resting the side of his face against his pillow his golden eyes fixated on the dull green gem that sat on his nightstand. Everyday it reminded him that he needed to fight for her and hope that it might begin to glow once more. Only then would his burden be lifted. It seemed that today wasn't that day though.

Heaving a sigh, Rex pushed himself from his bed and sulked across the room. As much as he desired to fall back to sleep he knew it wouldn't come to him. The nightmare would only continue like it always did. Forcing himself to get up with the best option. Staring at himself in the mirror for a moment, he could see just how tired his face appeared. Shaking his head, he moved from the mirror to get dressed. It was only a few brief moments before he was entirely geared up and had the aegis sword resting against his lower back. Even around camp he rarely went anywhere without it. Much like the emerald, it was all he had left to remember Pyra and Mythra.

With his things collected, the boy finally left his room and began on his way down the hall. He needed to prepare himself for what was to come later. It had been hinted at that today would be a mission day. They hadn't had one of those in a few weeks or at least he hadn't gone beyond the forcefield in several weeks now. Others might have gone out since then. It wasn't as if he was entirely informed of what happened among other ranks. It didn't bothered him all too much though it was a change from his previous role back in Alrest. He had been entirely in control of his adventure and the path he took yet here he was a solider and had orders to listen to.

Entering the mess hall, the teen noted how empty the place currently was. There were some soldiers around enjoying their breakfast but not many. It was no surprise given how early it was. Even he hated being up this early. Falling into the back of the line he waited his turn to get what he wanted before finding a seat on the far side of the room. Sitting alone wasn't a rarity for him these days. Ever since his arrival in this place he hadn't made many friends given that he still grieved that lost of his previous ones. Poking at his food momentarily, Rex quietly looked around the room hoping to find something of interest to focus on this morning.

Waking up early was no rarity for the princess for she often woke before the sun rose to make her way to the garden on the edge of the civilian's area. It was a place she could be at ease and rest her mind. Taking on one tragic event right after another still took its toll on her. To think she had gone 100 years sealing Ganon in Hyrule Castle to being in this position only years later was one she could have never imagined. Oddly the two events had their similarities. Both had left Link in a dire state. It pained her that her knight was in such a state once more but as long as she knew he would live once again, she knew she had nothing to worry about. One day he would awaken once more and she could be at ease. Until then she needed to focus her efforts on helping the army in whatever manner she could.

Rising to her feet, Zelda made her way across the small garden until she came to the statue in the middle of it. Kneeling down, she dipped her head and closed her eyes as she mumbled a prayer. It was a habit she had picked up given her visits to the various shrines back home. All she could hope was that they would all be protected in the mission that was expected to be happening later in the day. Going outside the barrier had become a rather dangerous task and she wondered what brought about this sudden interest in going out given that every other time they went out they seemed to barely make a dent in the beasts numbers. Perhaps there was another reason. It wasn't her place to question anyways. They couldn't always sit back anyways. The least she could do was pray and hope that they would be granted with safety as soon as they stepped outside of the forcefield. They couldn't afford all too many losses given their numbers were relatively small or at least in her mind they were.

xxxxxFor a while, Saber continued wandering around the outskirts of town, but as she knew not many spent their time around the edges, she started making her way through the framework, finding herself at the park. She didn't know the base as well as she wanted to and even though now seemed like a time where finding out more about it could be possible, she was particularly interested in learning about some of the people in town. Though she wasn't always a people person, as a king she had developed many social skills and hopefully they would come to use now.

xxxxxSpotting a mom and her child playing catch with a ball of yarn in the distance, the knight gave a polite nod and smile towards them before continuing to walk around, looking at the beautiful scenery around her. For being a place of battle and conflict, the small base they had was quite beautiful. Saber never had known such a thing to exist. Whenever there was war in her country, it ravished everything and nothing of bright and beautiful color would remain. All that would be left would be the ashes and fires slowly dying in the background. At the sad thought, the girl bit her lip to contain her emotions. She did not wish to make a weak impression in front of all the people nearby and sighed. Hand tightened around the sword at her waist, she looked down at her whitened knuckles before slowly releasing the hilt of the weapon and placing her hand by her side once more so that she couldn't tense up even if she wished to do so.

xxxxxFinally, after meandering in her thoughts for a bit longer, Saber made the final decision to approach someone. Seeing a girl in the distance with dark brown hair, she approached, immediately scanning her with her eyes for any sense of danger. All she found was that the girl had her hand poised on a dagger and so she maintained enough distance while she spoke to address the girl. "Excuse me, miss. I hope you don't think it odd of me to approach, but I just wanted to ask, how are you doing today?" She asked, using as kind a tone as possible, trying to avoid any hints of hostility from seeping into her voice.

Fitz quickly gathered a plate of food and a large mug of coffee - he didn't like the America drink much, but he needed more than tea after another sleepless night. He'd been having all together too much coffee if he was being honest with himself.
He was lost in thought as he made his way to a table - he would much rather bring his food back to his lab and continue working, but that wasn't really an option. So, he sat down at a mostly empty table, not noticing the boy sitting on the other side. He pulled out his tablet and ran through some equations, hoping to come across the breakthrough he needed to find the best way to reinforce the forcefield around the city. But his mind was too addled by lack of sleep and he couldn't tear his thoughts away from Jemma. Where was she? Was she even alive? If she was alive, how was she alive? How could he find her again? And once he did find her, how could they get home again? With a groan, he ran a hand through his hair in an effort to get his brain thinking better.

Veronica was wary of anyone she didn't know. It was a habbit she had developed over her childhood and into her teenaged years. So when a stranger approached her, her hand tightened slightly over her dagger as she surveyed the stranger.
She seemed to be only a few years younger than Veronica but it was obvious she was a fighter - Veronica could tell by the way she carried herself. She had seen things no young person should have seen - just like Veronica had. Then again, hadn't everyone in the godforsaken place?
The girl's question seemed a little strange, but sensing no immediate danger Veronica relaxed a little, dropping her hand beside her side.
"I'm quite alright, thank you," she said. She could tell the other girl meant no harm - they were after all in a similar position, the stranger probably wanted to get home as much as Veronica did. Perhaps making friends wouldn't be amiss - or at least making allies.
