Donovan couldn't make eye contact with Alaric as he stood to put his plate in the sink . Alaric was very handsome , but very forward . His face was still red but Donnie began to clean and put away dishes . He noticed that Isla already left without a word . She was always so quiet that he hardly noticed that she'd gone . He hoped she didn't feel unwelcome , He was being serious when he said anyone could join them . With a shrug He turned back to the others . Waiting for them to be ready to head to the training room .

Alex gave a small smile ." Uh yeah . Logan and I have a patrol later tonight . " she answered Alaric's question . She slid off from the counter . Everyone seemed to be finishing up , so she made her way past Donnie to rinse her mug .

Sufficiently stretched, Isla removed her blade and whispered its name. The sword was sharp and polished from many years of attentive care. She ran her hand along the side. This was the only thing she had from home, she had gotten herself new gear, but this sword felt like part of her. There was no way she was leaving it behind. She would wait for someone to fence with when they arrived.

"It has been a pleasure talking with you, but unfortunately I must be getting back to the infirmary." with a nod he turned and over his shoulder he said, "if you ever need anything let me know." Then he was gone, disappearing into the shadows of the foliage.

Shadowhunters where free to roam the institute as they pleased so Octavia didn't find Liliana's exploring to be very odd . Nephilim came and went all the time . What she did find out of the ordinary was the way the girl seemed to be trying to hide her sword from view . It was clearly a beautiful weapon but shadowhunters where always armed . Was there a reason she was trying not to be seen with it ? But Octavia shrugged this off for now .

Jonathan gave an awkward laugh and rubbed the back of his neck. "Ya, I guess the fact that he is your brother would be the thing to make it odd. I wouldn't really know the feeling though. I have never had siblings, or anyone that grew close enough to be considered one." As they made their way into the training room he pulled his rapier out from its sheath.

Liliana~ I wanted to find a place to play my switch. I decided to walk around the Library to find a nice corner or something so I could play my switch. I found a corner near a window with a table. I sat down at the table and took my switch out and placed it on the table. I ended up putting the kickstands up that were on the case for my switch. I took my earbuds out of its case and plugged them in and I put them in my ears and put in that zelda game. I like to to be left alone.

Ethereal always knew that somehow, he would end up reading. Sure, he had meant to be training, his bow laying to his left, his sword on his right, but he had grown tired of training, and was enthralled by the book more than his sword. So he had taken a quick break. Which had turned into a half an hour. Which had turned into a whole hour, and now, he was near the end of the book. Still, as he glanced at the pages that were left, and there were not many, he presumed he'd have to leave his little corner to resume his training. It wasn't like he hated training. He did, in fact, love training, but the book was so fascinating. He sighed and finished the book, grabbing up his two weapons and readjusting the quiver on his back. 'Here we go again...'

Octavia finished reviewing tests quietly . Occasionally she'd give a curious glance to Liliana in the corner . She had no idea what that odd device she was holding was . But soon she completed grading and was proud to see that the kids passed with flying colors .

Rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand, Jonathan looked up at Caspian. "Really? I'm flattered. My mother and I never get to stay in one place for very long and it makes me happy to know that I have such close friends already. Thanks Cas." flashing a smile, he then made his way to one of the mats in the center of the room and spun his rapier around in his hand. He then tightened his grip and looked to him with a crooked smirk, "Shall we?"
