Lylamair clutched her bleeding arm, walking quickly to get home. It was at least three more blocks - She was walking home from a party at her friends house, not knowing it would go this late. Blood ran down her arm, dripping onto the ground. She sighed and walked a little faster.

Aradia turned her head towards the darkness, suddenly smelling simething thatcould only be onething. Blood. She stood,her instincts taking ove and sniffd uietly. She followed her nose to a bleeding girl all aloner

Lylamair felt a chill run down her spine. Something... Something was around. She ignored her senses, but instantly sped to a run to get home.

Aradia saw the girl run. Somewhere in thr beack of her mind, alittle voice said thiswas wrong, but her hunting instinct overruled it and shechased

Lyla turned her head. She saw a faint shadow moving toward her at an impossible speed. She quickened her pace, letting out an ear-shattering, ground-shaking scream so as to get help, knowing she couldn't outrun whatever was chasing her.

The scream brokeher consentration and she wasableto stop herself, but barely. Even then, sheenddup creeping towards the girl again, slowly and looking for anyone who mayhave heard the scream

Lyla didn't slow her run. She kept running even faster, her legs aching and her lungs pounding. Her heart skipped a beat, but then returned to an abnormally quick speed. "Help!" she screamed out numerous times.

Aradia sped up again and kept looking around, expectin someone to come out to see what all the noise was about. She had nearly caught up to the girl

Somehow, Lylamair managed to run even faster. She lept over a fence, hoping it would slow her chaser down. Of course, she had no clue that vampires actually exsisted, or that she was being chased by one. That fence wouldn't slow a vampire down one bit.
