Yurika couldn’t and definitely shouldn’t try to interfere between a villain and a hero. And that exactly what she did: nothing. She stood there as she watched the little girl skipping around, playing with the angry boy as he fell to his knees in pain. Honestly, everyone’s first instinct would be to see the girl as the hero and the boy as the villain, especially with how violent he was acting. But the girl’s behavior in this crazy environment kinda drove home who was really the victim here. No one would feel that confident when just scattered by villains. Her heart sunk when she realized the league of villains were low enough to recruit a little girl in their ranks. A little girl who probably didn’t know better. It made her even more scared of them than before, and that’s saying a lot.
Not to mention, she saw the guy on one of her first days and immediately put him on the ‘do not interact with under any circumstances’ list.
Relieved at not noticing her, she watched as the two ran out of sight, probably to duke it out with each other somewhere else. She let out a breath she didn’t thought she was holding. She was safe...for now.
Yurika jumped as a voice called her name, but relaxed when she recognized it. She turned around, much faster than ever, with a relieved smile on her face.
“Nishihara-san! Good to see you’re still alive. Would have been annoying if you died.”
She held in a laugh when she saw Takumi coming to a stop near her. He seemed relatively unharmed too, at least, for the situation at hand. “Eh, let’s say I got off lucky. Slammed into a rock when I fell, so I may have a wound under under my suit, but I also could have faced a villain, so...”
Despite all of what was going on, she felt a little safer. Takumi was here, and he would do his best to protect her. She couldn’t help but smile warmly at him. “Thanks...we should try and find a way out of here. If we keep standing here, we’ll run into trouble. Besides, I’m not sure if going after that girl is a good idea. From what I could see, she could inflict pain on that guy without coming too close. And that’s the most violent guy in school. He’ll save himself for a while.”
Just as she was running her mind for possible escape route and avoidance techniques, it came to a quick halt when a scuttling noise distracted her. She turned to see a girl her age with long purple hair and a bandage around her arm. A puddle of insects were near her feet and she did NOT look like a person who’d help them. Almost instinctively, she grabbed his arm, fear building up in her head.
“No, no, no, please tell me that’s not a villain...”
