" is every one ok, no gun shots?" sea asked, making sure that her hersel hadnt gotten shot. She was shaking, and I bet every else was sorta shaky also now. Sea counted heads and everyone was there. Good! sea thoguht as she sat down and put her head between her knees

She shuddered delicately, holding her stomach, trying to keep the blood from flowing. She shoved herself to the back of the cave, and into the shadows. She always felt better once she was with the dark. But still, the pain didn't go away, and she felt the blood squeezing in between her fingers, pooling around her in dark puddles, staining her clothing and skin. The girl knew what had to be done. This answer was easier then the others. At least I know my name now. Luxa. Luxa.
"Luxa." The name felt strange and alien on her tongue.
Meh, can't get distracted. Luxa reached inside the hole in her gut gasping, her head reeling with pain, and fished out the lead ball. It fell from her hand, slippery with blood, and for the second time, Luxa collapsed, her head light and fuzzy with blood loss.

"luxa!" sea ran over to her, sea torn off some of her shirt and stapes it around luxa's frail body

Ryu jumped to his feet when Sea shouted. He quickly shuffled over to see what was wrong until the smell of blood choked him. He then knelt down to do the same and rip two ribbons from his own shurt and offered it to Sea since she was already having the same idea. His dark wings were folded againsr his back tightly in slight stress.

Ari heard the shout from the cave. She finished in the cabin, stuffing in a huge first aid kit and a few random items.
She flew back to the cave and saw the others. "Luxa!" she gasped. "I could've fixed that..." She looked at the others, slightly uncertaint. "I'm going to mess with her mind so she doesn't feel pain. Then we can work together to fix... that." She empasized the last word by gesturing to the unsightly mess of blood.
Taking a deep breath, she began to probe at Luxa's mind, giving happy images, sounds, tastes, and thoughts. She tried to blot out the pain receptors, hoping her plan would work.

"Good." sea said with a shaky sigh, and began to look for some achol in the first aid kit. "That should do it" sea said after acouple of minutes of working on the bloody wound.There was no more blood on Luxa and there was a white bsnd of goze wraped around her now.

"M'kay, now that that's done," said Ari, shaky from using her powers. "I have presents for you, Ryu and Luxa." She gave each one a stolen iPhone. Despite the situation, she smiled. "Happy un-birthday to you."
"On a more serious subject," she tried hard to keep a strait face, "Who wants lunch?" She pulled food and soda aplenty out of her tote bag.

"im kinda shaky right now, maybe later" sea said as she asked if any body else was hurt. Then she used her power to move a huge boulder infront of the cave enterecne, where just enough light was coming in to give them air and light to see. Sea layed down at the back of the cage as she looked at the flock, megar as it was she loved them all. Feathers and all.

Ryu took a hold of the iPhone and was already exploring it. The screens glow lit up his face and his eyes closed shut when it turned out to be bright it the dark. He saw that Ari had the same ablitiy he had. At least manipulating the shadow/darkness element was his speacialty. "Thanks," He said quietly and stood up to walk over to his own spot in the cave. His wings fully relaxed as they brushed the ground behind him. He nodded his head and with the cave being slightly dark, he used it to pull over a soda for himself. Hunger wasn't really a big deal to him. He ate little when he was at the school and was pretty much used to it.
