"Better... I didn't want anything." he mused slightly, glancing over the crowd. Recognization hit his features as he recognized Hlin, the protectoress, nearby. "Crab apples! Not her!" he groaned, not admitting that he was scared of the goddess. Well, he had played a cold trick on her after all and had barely managed to slip from her grasp. The trickster looked frantically for a way to escape.

"I got arrested for throwing a rock in the water. How would I know it would've hit prince Thor? He shouldn't have been down there getting his hammer in the first place! Can't it just come to him?" she exclaimed, upset.

Elora raised a brow ever so slightly when he flipped out and looked to where he had looked and saw the goddess and couldn't help the grin on her face from showing. "Oh? My oh my I have never met Goddess Hlin... I should call her over" she hummed aloud so Loki would hear her.

Fandral listened to her story and tried to fight back a laugh but failed. "My word! You hit him with a rock?! Oh that's priceless." he said jolly like and had a gloven hand on his chest in the amusement.

"there." she said to the boy, smiling gently at him. "all better. run along now." she shooed, and the boy got up and started playing again. hlin sighed, getting back up to her feet and dusting her pants off. she looked around the market, then took a double take as she saw someone familiar. "is that..." she murmured under her breath, narrowing her eyes. "LOKI!" she stomped towards him, swearing under her breath. "i swear to odin! oh-" she stopped and looked at his companion, bowing a little. "my apologies miss. i am hlin." then she grabbed lokis ear and twisted it. "you! you rat! apologize!"

"What? No! Please don't!" he exclaimed, throwing a pleading look to Elora as she offered to call Hlin over. It wouldn't have mattered anyway. The goddess was marching towards him, only stopping to greet Elora, before grabbing and twisting his ear. "Ouch! Never!" he hissed, trying to writhe away from her.

"I didn't mean to." she mumbled, though she had fully meant it when the thunder God had tumbled out of the water and cursed at her. Well, he probably hadn't meant that either but still...

hlin scoffed as she held onto the princes ear, her scowl dark on her face. "oh yes you will!" she snapped, twisting it harder. not a lot of people would stand up to the trickster, fearing both his and his familys wrath, but hlin had no such concerns. "you were rude, and your behavior was unfitting of a prince! gods knows why your father sent you out to the villages." she muttered under her breath, shaking her head. "that is a cruel punishment for the villagers!" she sassed, then let go of his ear, concern playing across her face. "he is alright though, and you?" she asked. she didn't exactly dislike the god of trickery, just his irritating pranks. it was her nature to be protective, after all.

Elora couldn't help but giggle at his panic but Hlin had already spotted them and came over. "Lovely to meet you" she hummed and bowed in respect. Giving Loki a cheeky look as he was being scolded before smiling at the goddess. "I'm alright thank you lady Hlin" she said properly and kindly.

Fandral nodded a little and looked to the guards. "I think I got her from here. You can uh... Let her go and I'll just watch her for a while" he said and looked at Bryn. "He can be rather... Explosive at times" he chuckled.

"He's always fine, and I was doing okay before you came over." he said to her with a scowl and rubbed his ear. "But was it nescessary to twist my ear of all things?" he whined, continuing. "I thought you were supposed to protect people, not hurt them!"

Handle her? She would see about that. The guards were out of sight, which gave her a chance of escape. Bryn delivered a sudden kick to Fandral's leg and limped away, hoping that the moment was long enough to faze him.

hlin scoffed. "if you act like a brat, loki, i will treat you like one." she flicked his other ear. "don't act like a child." she gave him a tiny smile then. "that is good to hear. and pff, odin thinks he is invincible. i would think that you, silvertongue, would know that not to be true." she then turned to the lady and gave her a winning smile. "and what is your name, miss? i should protect you from his company." she joked. it was always fun bantering with loki, he had the wits to match her.

Elora way he'd the two interact with much amusement and wished she had the guys to join in but she knew Loki could be rather hard to handle... And she was just a mere servant. "My name? Ah I'm Elora" she introduced herself with a smile and light blush.

Fandral watched her questioning and he kneeled down when she kicked his led but stood up and followed the limping woman. "Seriously? How far did you think you could get?" he laughed a little.

"Hey! My company isn't horrible, from what I've heard, it's tolerable. You should come with a warning label. It should say 'do not open unless you want to be endlessly annoyed.' " he huffed with a playful smile.

"I think... I can go...away..." she huffed tiredly, realizing that he was catching up. If only the guards hadn't decided kicking and stepping on her feet was a great idea.
