Appearance:
Ophelia is, overall, beautiful. She has very long, vibrant orange hair, and her skin is pale with a slight blue-teal hue. She has a narrow nose and bright, pink-blue lips. Her eyes are narrow, and are red-orange and yellow, with a black strike under each eye. On her legs, sides of her torso, and arms, she has black and neon teal markings like on her wings (see the example picture). Ophelia has pointed ears and long legs, as well as 'digital'-looking wings. They are teal, but are 'outlined' with black and have a connected line pattern across the wings in a darker teal. The wings themselves are butterfly-like, and after paper-thin to the touch. Despite this, they are extremely strong, and when she flies her wings make a slight buzzing/humming noise (here's an example picture of the wings; again, the picture IS NOT mine).
Personality:
Ophelia is very quiet, and unless someone makes her furious, she is very submissive. She spends most of her time reading and studying, and when she isn't, she is probably thinking or trying to explore for animals. She can be very witty when she wants or needs to be, but she would rather flee than fight. She has a sharp tongue when she's mad, but tries to keep swearing to a minimum. It also isn't easy to earn her trust. Around her 'friends', she manages to seem happy, but she still doesn't talk a lot around them. Because she's been labeled as a 'prep', people don't give her a chance, and as a result of such exclusion and gossip she is depressed and longing for a true friend or two.
History:
Ophelia was born into a lush forest, to a small village of fairies like herself. In her village, no one had the same last name, so because it was raining on her day of birth, but clear as a bell in the sky, her last name became Rainbell. Her parents were proud of their little girl, who became close to the forest at a young age. Ophelia's beauty became an issue, however, because boys would often harrass her. So, her parents, with no other options, brought the girl to an orphanage at the age of ten. She lived there, for a while, until she was swept into 'The Academy.' Here, even in her first few weeks, she was picked up by the 'popular' crowd; not because they really liked the girl, but because she was good-looking and fit into their 'social appearance' ranks. She slowly wasted away as boys used her, dating her and getting what they wanted and abandoning her. Because of this reason, not only is Ophelia unsure of herself, but she is very, very cautious around boys.
