Koori gigled, "Haha food helps too." she smiled, she was growing on him too

Chris grinned and nodded, turning to koori."so, did you sleep well?"she asked, not catching the way koori looked at james.

She flinched up, "Ya, thanks for letting me sleep, if you guys want," she looked down at Avalon then back at Chris, "You can take Avalon, just wake me up or write a note." she smiled at Chris with a friendly smile

Chris nodded quietly."there wont be much need for that, we came by to pick you two up and take ya with us to the forest."she smiled kindly back, her deep green eyes soft and friendly.

"Alright, but inm going to warn you," she got and twisted smile on her face, "My dad use to take me hunting, and well i dont want to spoil the surprise, but ill just say, we never used weaponds." she snickered to herself quietly

Chris rose an eyebrow."i dont like surpirses, usually means somethin bigger than me is trying to eat me."she growled than sighed shaking her head."better be a good surprise koori."

He smiled, glancing down at the remains of the large dead rabbit in his hand. "Who wants rabbit meat?" He asked, grinning at the both of them. He was proud of his catch, and happy he could help feed his knew family. That's what he thought of Chris, Avalon, and Koori. The family he never had.
