When she had felt him coming Bastet had gotten up, walked torward the pebble road and had waited. She barely raised her head when a tall dark man had appeared in front on her." greetings, patch." she said cooly. " spirit Bastet I presume. Is your partner ready to battle?" he Answered. Bastet turned her golden eyes to look at the man." she has just battled and won. She is ready. I will go tell her of your arrival."
Arisu had been suprised not to see her friend when she woke from her light dose " where had you gone? I almost started worrying!"Bastet looked at her silently and Arisu was confused." what happened?" her question was answered by another question " are you ready to receive your oracle bell young shaman?"

Shinatsu walked out of the airport. "Finally! I finally got away from those fussy stewards!" she grumbled. In reality the women had not been that fussy; just she hated having people take care of her if they weren't following her own orders. She looked up and her jaw dropped. Tokyo was filled with sights and amazing smells. She pinched her nose as realized that she had arrived on the exact day of the fish market. "Darn! I really have bad luck these past few days," she thought.
Sebastian walked back to the house only to find a sign with "for sale written on it". "Huh?!" he exclaimed. "How come it is for sale?!" he thought for a second. Also, how could she have sold it without his consent? He remembered that the house was technically owned by the Tao family, and as the Tao living there, she could sell it if she wished. "Curse her! That" He insulted her with every name imaginable. He returned to the woods, thinking that he would probably have to sleep there. He saw in front of him a man with long brown hair and robes. "I am the Patch official in charge of your test. You have five minutes to try and hit me? If you succeed, this Oracle Bell is yours."

Arisu huffed and took a deep breath. she thought to herself " NOW can i stress out?" with mental support from bastet she breathed in and relaxed her muscles.her instinct took over ."five seconds" she pounced and yelled as she slashed at the patche's head who easily avoided it.but before he could get up he felt a strong sting along his back. arisu, who had continued her flight over the patch, after having hit with the claws, had slashed the man's back with her tail when she was about to land behind him. they both stared at each other for a few seconds until arisu retracted the blades of the tail who where still stained with blood: the patche's blood. the man broke the silence:"ow." arisu blushed and covered her face with her hands" i'm so sooooory!"they both burst out laughing and didn't stop for a long time. when they finally did he looked at arisu and announced "well it look's like you have passed!" " I didn't really think you would fall for that!" he laughed " nor did I. it seems that i have seriously underestimated you." he threw her a gray oracle bell "this is now yours." she looked at it happily then seemed slightly upset."what's wrong?" ...

"ARG! the train was already bad but this is just too much! my head's going to explode! I hate the city!" Bastet harshly told her "shut up you idiot! you're being a total lunatic! remember human's can't see me so you're just talking to nothing!" Arisu sighed deeply and looked at the spirit. she had to restrain from laughing "hey Bastet you're pissed too!!" and she laughed at her irritated friend who snapped at her" well at least I can CONTROL myself! now just shut up!" she was right. already a few people in the street looked about to call an asylum reporting "a crazy young girl talking to imaginary people loudly on the streets." "you can just train on sensing the people around you. just concentrate." suggested Bastet
arisu was up to 35 people 12 cats 17 birds and 4 dog... BAM! Arisu bumped into a young girl of about thirteen with dark purple hair and eyes. she quickly excused herself and walked on. then something occurred to her: she had seen a large armored figure behind the girl. no one else seemed to have noticed. she turned around and ran. the young girl turned around and gasped when Arisu tightly grabbed her shoulder. and in the middle of this street of tokyo, in the presence of 35 people 12 cats 17 birds and 4 dogs she yelled:
"you're also a shaman?!!"

Sebastian panicked. After fighting Shinatsu, he had realized how incredibly weak he was. "Start!" They fought for a few minutes. Sebastian was completely failing. Suddenly he remembered how Shinatsu had put her spirit into her sword. Maybe, instead of Hyou Gattai, he could do the same... "One minute." "Spirit form! Into the butchering knife!" Rusty bloodstains appeared on the weapon. Sebastian's left eye started to glow red.
"The test is over. You have passed. This is your oracle ball. I don't think we'll meet again, but if we do, I'll tell you my name," said the mysterious man coldly. "Goodbye."

"Who are you?!" demanded Shinatsu. She looked down and murmured, "Oh." as she saw both Arisu's OB and Bastet. "Anyway, here's not the place to talk. I doubt you want to end up in an asylum," Shinatsu hissed as she dragged her to an empty alley.

arisu sighed " for a second there I was almost scared that you where just a normal human and that you thought i was crazy! oh well. my name is arisu asakura from the village of ayumi. this is my spirit bastet. I see you've obtained an oracle bell."
"yes I am tao shinatsu from paris, answered the girl, my partner is spirit of thunder. I have come to tokyo for the shaman fight, probably you have too." "yes" said Bastet " and we thank you for taking us here, arisu isn't exactly discreet."an awkward silence followed. bastet looked at SOT waiting for him to say somthing but the gray armored figure said nothing.

Celeste was training so hard she didn't realize that someone had come up. An eagle spirit sat on his arm. "She's powerful, be careful." the eagle told him, the man merely smiled "that's good" he said aloud. Celeste jumped and turned to stare at him. "who are you?" she growled. The man stepped forward "I am your proctor for your exam". Celeste was confused, but then blinked as she realized this was her first step towards the title of Shaman King. Without warning the man attacked.

Celeste and the man battled for several long minutes. before she started gaining small bits of ground, but he was forcing her back now. "come on, you only have 2 minutes left to beat me!" The guy laughed, Celeste looked shocked. She had to finish it quick. Without thinking she growled and forced Kohaku into her necklace. His outline flared with a white tinged light and she jumped forward to attack the tip of her sword barely striking it's target. The man blocked her and smiled "congrats you pass" he threw an Oracle Bell to her "keep it with you. Byes" he vanished into thin air.

Finally shinatsu remarked to Bastet who was watching SoT ver carefully, "he doesn't talk you know." Silence. A thought occured to shinatsu. "Are you a descandant of you asakura?" Arisu shook her head. "No. I'm a descendant of one of hao's incarnations." "Wait you mean he actually had kids?!" exclaimed shinatsu, astonished. "Yeah. Why?" "Just wondering."
