Shiromaru chuckled "do as you wish, but know I'll be back" he faded away for the last time and the area was engulfed in a tranquil quiet.

Kikyo nodded "yes" She gently took a few of them and handed them to Shinimachu. The spirit held them in his little insect feet while buzzing noisily. He flew over Ryoshi, dripping liquid and dust over the immobile shaman.

Celeste tapped down to the ground her Over soul flashing out. She had a lifeless look to her eyes, as she looked at the ground. She couldn't help but feel like she'd hadn't helped, but hand hurt them by being who she was.

Airus hollered out, whooping his approval of the 'fleeing' enemy. "See all I had to do was show up and he ran!"

In one last jolt of the power in her muscles, Arisu's hand tightened around the man's neck. A neck that was now nothing. Each of the cat-girl's long golden claws met nothing but air and, cutting through it, slipped upon it's twin with a metallic sigh. Her eyes widened, wet, sticky trails of tears still scarring her cheeks under them. Her hands dropped: the surprise and seriousness that had sparked in her face melted away from it. She was silent for an instant.
Then someone hollered behind her. She jolted up, looked around, her golden hair spinning, dissolving her flames of furyoku. Auris. "See all I had to do was show up and he ran!" he exclaimed. Arisu looked at the triumphant grin on his face. She frowned silently, knitted her brow. Her arms swayed, a little, by her side. She frowned.
Only that sound of falling took her away from her silence, her quiet downward pull of the lips. Celeste.
"Celeste." Arisu said softly. She had jumped carefully down from the tree and had walked towards her friend. Slowly. Now, now she looked at the mass of blonde hair that covered Celeste's eyes as she looked at the floor. She said nothing. Then, slowly, she pulled out her hand, hand of which the wrists were strapped with their claws, dangling, unarmed. She pulled out her hand and offered it to Celeste. Took hers. Gently, slowly, pulled her up. Said nothing.
"Arisu, Celeste." Bastet said, her voice serious and clear even from a distance. She had regained her animal form after having slipped out of Arisu's weapons and then glided across the grass to the fallen ones. She didn't look back at the two girls she was addressing, just asked them to come. Then waited.
Arisu turned around, called by the cool voice of her spirit. Yes: Ryoshi, Uzumi. She kept Celeste's hand with her and made the few large steps that separated her and them. Steps that seemed like slow-motion to her, muted. She fell to her knees next to them. Looked down at their faces. Wordlessly. Now was the time to cry. Then why wasn't she crying? Only her face was crying, twisted, bent, folded. Silent. And some guilty knot in her throat even kept her from saying their names.

Celeste let a soft hiss of breath out "Guys I'm going to go train. Don't follow me until everyone's okay" She turned to Kohaku who bowed his neck to her and she climbed up near his head. The dragon looked at everyone "Don't lose hope, that let's Pliea win" He closed his eyes a moment and took off into the air.

Airus awkwardly quieted and hopped down from Ookami's neck "whats going on?" he asked in an off tone. Ookami stepped close to Ryoshi and sniffed him.

Ryoshi...

Ryoshi coughed himself awake, Komo hurriedly jumped into the shaman and stayed there. "Whoa.....oh god, where's Uzumi!?" he said, trying to get up before falling back down and coughing some more.

Hikaru...

Hikaru dropped the staff as Doende floated back up. "Well, at least he's awake." he said, calming himself down

If only it were a fair fight.

Aphrodite's head turned slightly as Ryoshi woke up with a sickly cough, breaking her spell. She sighed and looked with something of annoyance or pouty disappointment at the purple Wolfsbane on the ground, as if she'd though Uzumi could wake up before him and finally be useful: being the medium for Ryoshi to be hers. Well, there were still Hikaru and Auris, Akira too. The number of men in the group had risen, she couldn't ignore it and, of course, would make no waste of that fact. A mischievous smile sparked in the corners of her skillfully lipstick-covered lips. "Where's Uzumi!?" The raven-haired boy asked in the panic of wake before giving a heavy cough and letting his head fall again on the grass. " 'shu'z just there, honey." The love-goddess answered not without offering him a wide, seductive smile and movement of her curvy hips. Her comment was followed by her motioning of the little blue haired shaman, laying silently on the grass near them all, with her thumb.

A short, dry cough raised Arisu's head. She spun around to see clouds of sickly pink clear away from the emerald eyes of a friend. "Rysohi!" she exclaimed in what was less than a whisper. The smile that painted itself on her face as she looked down at the black-haired boy had taken with it the sadness that was previously its color. Kept a memory. Her purple eyes were dry, filled with the deepest, longest yet incomplete pools of releif and fell like cascades of violet onto his face. One could still see the sticky scars those tears had left on her silly cheeks. She was unsure who to care for now: Ryoshi, who'd awoken, Uzumi, who had yet to do so, and Celeste, who's glass heart was scarred and who's wound was probably as deep and painful. "Ryoshi, don't move. It's okay, don't move. Kikyo is here, she'll take care of Uzumi." She gently offered him a sad smile of comfort, of ease. Then, in her hand lit the urge to take his, for strength, maybe because a smile and words were not enough. But she didn't: her will nailed that urge to the ground, her hand impaled. "It's okay." she repeated, a flow of words.

Kikyo nodded and looked over Uzumi. "she just needs rest. Hopefully she'll be stronger when she wakes."

Airus blinked and looked around "so what happened here anyway?"

Shinatsu, who had been kneeling quietly near Uzumi, looked up at Auris to explain. "There was a match between Uzumi and Ryoshi which ended with Ryoshi's will leaking away, then him fainting, because of a curse arrow. Izumi also fainted but of lack of energy; also because of the arrow. Shiromaru attacked then and we battled him until you came. That's it..." Now that the danger of Celeste's dark, tall father and the probability of Pliea being with him were gone, Shinatsu found it easier to calm down. Ryoshi's waking up had certified that they would be okay and Kikyo's words affirmed that belief that again. She set her yellow eyes on Uzumi, looking quite frail and deeply child-like with her eyes closed, hiding the genius and maturity behind them.

Airus made a face "eh. . .Sorry. If I offended you earlier. . ." He scratched his head and looked to the side.

"Offened?" Shinatsu repeated, looking up at the white-haired boy. "Oh, when you came in? I don't see how that could have offended anyone, you just wanted to help: you couldn't know what the situation was like." The girl furrowed her brow a little and a pensive veil crossed her face: if Auris was saying this it was probably that he'd noticed it. But who'd been offended? She couldn't quite see who... maybe... Ah, it didn't matter.

Ryoshi...

Ryoshi coughed some more. "So who won?" he asked, his nerves easing.
