"At the foot of Mount Tibor, surrounded and outnumbered,
the Order's only chance lay in this sword - the Runeblade.
The weapon was borne by the warrior Heron, and the dragon, Arokh.
As the armies clashed, Navaros entered a mystic trance,
drawing power for a massive spell of destruction.
With the stolen strength of his dragon's soul,
Navaros had grown far mightier than any mage before him.
As the words of destruction rose to his lips,
a lone dragon came shrieking from the clouds,
weaving amidst the streams of lightning and fire that flooded the sky.
On Arokh's back, Heron gripped the Runeblade in both hands,
and with one final cry,
drove it deep into Navaros' blackened heart.
All sound went silent somehow, in the moment of the act.
The tremendous forces Navaros had summoned were unleashed without direction.
The clash of swords was heard no longer, and blackness hung over the field.
When at last the smoke cleared, the two great armies lay decimated.
Where Navaros had stood, a wound-like rip had been torn in the very fabric of space.
In the smouldering crater below, Heron lay dead, the Runeblade broken in two at his side.
In that blackened pit, only the dragon Arokh still clung to life..."

thorn was in the air and saw Briar so he flew over him to see if he was a threat...
I'm an old player from back in 2010 and really just on here to look for art
If you like any of the pets I have that are only uncommon/common if you send me a pun I'll almost certainly give them to you for free

Briar landed next to Elmiar. "Elmiar! Long time no see!" he cried. Briar also noticed Thorn approaching. The green scaled dragon's tail was open like a flower.

Elmiar sighed. "Nice to see you too, Briar." he replied to his friend's greeting. Elmiar noticed that Briar always seemed so goofy around him. He sighed again. When will this dragon ever learn?

After a while Alex regained consciousness, but it was dark now... Wow, how long was i out, he thought. Slowly climbing to his feet, Alex looked around. The girl and the dragon were gone. He punched the tree and yelled angrily " thats why i don't have partners! " whilst grating his teeth... He walked forwards a bit and crouched down picking up his dagger and putting it in his pocket then he noticed something. The grass/snow was flat and squished, the dragon must have lain here. And at closer inspection he also spotted the footprints of the girl as well. Alex stood up and wondered, studying the floor some more, then out of the blue he spotted a white/silvery scale, it was diamonds... He whispered "niceee..." before whistling... After a few minutes a gry wolf came sprinting out of the forest toward him. The wolf stopped at his feet and Alex stroked its head, " Good boy Ryu." Then he slowly started walking back to his tree house, trusty wolf at his side.

Briar's head whipped around after he heard Thorn screech. He flapped his wings and flew to where Thorn was, noticing a human was there. "A hunter," he hissed.

Elmiar flew after Briar, trusting his friend's good hearing. He landed next to him and glared at the hunter with his golden eyes. "How dare you trespass on dragon land. Leave at once, human." he snarled angrily.

Briar nodded. "we'll stand by just in case." he said, walking off toward the dense forest. Briar stopped walking and then stood behind the trees, watching thorn.

Elmiar nodded, too and followed Briar. Briar has certainly grown mentally but theres still a part of him that goofy, Elmiar thought. He smiled as the memories of when he and Briar would play together when they were hatchlings. Briar would somehow always end up getting stuck somewhere.
