the girl looked over at gold as he spoke, nodding. "you're right. i'm sure something will come up eventually..". she couldn't think of what to say in the slightest way possible. there wasn't anything to say about the subject any more, to be honest, so she listened to him talk again. when he talked about her pokemon being her friends, erika put a hand on her hip and chuckled a bit. "eh, good point, my friend. i do suppose you're right. but still..". again, erika was stuck on what to say, and couldn't think straight from the boat ride. smirking a little, she looked over around the woods again and then back at gold. she wondered when they would possibly find the desert she mentioned, or even the swamp. that would be kind of cool in a way. maybe they could even find a legendary or at least a rare pokemon around. as Hades rolled around in the grass, the houndoom barked at a nearby fern. he was definitely going insane, barking at leaves and now ferns, of all things. focusing back on what she was going to say, erika's gaze shifted to her bag. unzipping it, erika grabbed her new pokemon's pokeball. a noivern. sometging she had wanted for years.

the mightyena nodded, looking back up at tiny again. "o-oh, that's n-nice of you." the dog pokemon barked quietly, looking back at luxray nervously. vex looked over at tiny again, before shaking his head. "w-well, i have a-anxiety issues, and a stutter, a-and way more t-things i don't k-know about..". the mightyena said sadly, anxiously pawing the ground with his right paw.

polaris soared through the sky, a smile on his face as he felt the wind blow through his fur. "ah, it really feels good to fly again." this was one of the few times where he actually got to relax (that certainly wasn't a word he heard much). as he flew up in the air, polaris couldn't stop thinking about how wonderful it was outside. it was sunny, and he could feel the sun's rays shining down on his back. "gah. it's warm out today. i better restock my berry collection right now." the noivern sighed, shaking his head. he spotted the tree he lived near, and landed on the highest branch to see where his cave was. jumping down from the tree and running in his cave as soon as he saw it, he grabbed two of his handmade baskets for the berries he was about to pick. while polaris walked, he sighed again when he realized how tired he was, noticing how his body ached from the intense training he preformed everyday. he had to push himself all the time, though, or no trainer would want him. that was just his odd mindset, though. when polaris saw a little cubone walking through the forest, he called out to her from afar. "hey! are you looking for berries? i have baskets if you are!" the noivern waved one of the baskets in the air at the cubone, smiling at the other pokemon.

It didn't seem to be too long before he felt the ground under him seemingly change to something much mushier than it previously had been. Letting a growl escape his throat, he quickly pulled back and grimaced at the mud that covered his shoe now. "Well I think we're getting close to that swamp you saw," he remarked before reaching for one of his pokeballs. If the swamp was indeed close then he might as well let his Pokemon enjoy it. Releasing the Quagsire from its ball the Pokemon looked at him with a cock of his head. Gesturing toward the area ahead, Gold motion for his Pokemon to go to it. Blinking at his trainer, the Quagsire waddled forward until he felt the ground change. A smile seemed to sweep across his face as soon as he realized what was ahead and he clapped his finned hands together excitedly. "At least someone can be happy about this. Trekking through swamps was never something I have enjoyed. Shall was continue on though?" Looking at Erika he decided to let her decide. If she wanted to try and avoid the swamp they could.

"I do not nor did have intentions of finding on to be entirely honest," she responded. Maybe she would have gone with the last person if there had been any left by the time she left otherwise going alone was what she had intentions of given that traveling with one of the younger trainers did no appeal her in the slightest and from the looks of it there weren't many trainers around her age anyways. That was no surprise. "I'm assuming you were going to ask me to accompany you then? I suppose I could do such." It pained her to say such a thing given that he seemed far more excitable than herself, but maybe it wouldn't be all too bad. As long as she wasn't constantly bothered she figured it would be just fine to travel with him. If she did get bothered she could always have Brighid given a warning. She knew her Arcanine could be rather threatening when she wanted to be. It was a handy thing to have.

Vaporeon would sweat. It was a hot day, but luckily there was a pool nearby. So Vaporeon jumped into the water. She closed her eyes. A few moments later, when she came back up for air, something ran past her. Vaporeon was terrified as the big creature stood in ront of her with red, glinting eyes.....

xxxxxHe wasn't exactly sure how he had managed to fall asleep on the boat trip in the corner, still leaning over the edge but upon awakening he had to rush off before he would be left behind. Then again, he was used to doing such. He stayed up late at night most days to work on music with Mel or just train with them outside, but now his life would be changing, at least for a while. He had left his music at home so it wouldn't distract him but still, Mel had managed to sneak on into his bag. The pokemon knew him well enough that she assumed he would use it eventually as music had always been Sol's solace. His place of peace. Running a hand through his messy hair, Sol began to look around, not exactly sure on where to go. Looking towards Mel, he watched as the pokemon began to wander off and chased after it, not wanting to lose them in unknown land.

xxxxxInese chuckled at his comment, wiping a dash of peanut butter from her lips with a napkin. "I won't disagree with that. But still, my Noibat is proving to be quite a useful asset to my team so far as well." She said before taking out her phone to check a text from one of her friends before setting it down on the table again. Hearing him sigh, the girl looked up again to listen and waited till he had completed his thought before speaking up. "I'm not saying you have to stop working, but I guess, if you really want to find something else to do, find a hobby of sorts. Like for me, battling or playing music is fun. I know you enjoy sketching so there's always that, though you probably could expand from just drawing the pokemon you want to work on for your job. Like paint landscapes or something. I don't know. If you always have your mindset locked in work mode, you'll never be able to expand your horizons." She said, her mind still lingering on the last thing he had said, mentioning his childhood. Inese had not heard of such though it appeared to her as though he rather not talk about and so, she let him have that peace and kept from bringing it up, noting to be wary around a family topic in the future. Despite her constant nature to be carefree, sometimes careless with her personality, Inese had a keen memory and wasn't going to allow interactions that may prove useful in the future to slip.

Faye nodded, watching her Reshiram take off into the sky, leaving the three and their pokemon alone now. Taking the position she’d just stood in again, the Unova champion turned to Kif and Kasai. ”My apologies if you didn’t like the heat. It just kind of does what it wants sometimes. I don’t blame it either, being stuck in a pokeball almost all of the time. Poor thing…” Faye couldn’t help but feel some sort of pity for the large pokemon. Due to how big it was, she couldn’t really release it as much as she enjoyed to. Shadow stuck his black head out of Faye’s bag, a smile on his face. He seemed unbothered by the heat, which he was dealing with more because of his black pelt and being inside a small area.

After removing herself from Sakura, Zara handed her a berry, earning a purr of a sort from the Latias. Zara smiled, taking steps forward. Being on the boat make her legs feel like jelly so her first few steps were shaky. Acting fast, Sakura quickly zoomed forward, circling her trainer, the air pushing Zara back up straight. A giggle escaped her mouth as she started towards Acrea's wilderness. "Where do we go first, Sakura? Left or straight?" She questioned, quickly seeing a trainer not far ahead of her. Zara remained behind said trainer and turned to her companion, gently patting her forehead. Noticing the weird look that Sakura sent her, she lifted her hands in defeat and turned on her heals, walking back to the beach. She didn't want to be the only one venturing alone, and being alone in an unknown area scared the Kanto trainer. Sure, she could take care of herself, but being with someone else could most definately help if she were ever to be ambushed by whatever resided on the island of Acrea.

Alec strolled the halls of the Team Clone lab, heading towards the exit. At his side, his Leafeon strode proudly, her leaf-shaped tail thrashing around aimlessly as her paws landed noiselessly on the floor, as they always did. Once outside, Alec found a small ledge and patted the space in front of him. Leafeon bounded to the pleace in front of him, facing him with her big, amber eyes. A smile appeared on his face, something that pretty much only his pokemon could make him do. Leafon twirled in a circle and then pressed her small paws against his chest, making Alec bring his hand up to her head and give her an affectionate pet. This was his oldest pokemon, the only thing that was there for him after the day he left the house, and throught everything else. She understood him the best, better than his brother or mother ever could. "Alright, alright. Give me a second!" Digging into his pockets, he removed a small green Poke bean and let his companion eat it, giving her another pet. He sat on the ledge enjoying the sun, making him hotter than planned due to his black outfit, a black t-shirt and black jeans. His blue eyes checked behind him momentarily to see if anything was behind him before laying down, staring up at the blue sky dotted with fluffy, white clouds. Leafeon took her spot on her trainer's stomach, curling into a small, pale gree ball against black fabric.

Arcanine sat up, ruffling out it’s fluffy mane. ”You didn’t behave well? That’s kind of hard to believe. You seem well manored out here.” Bringing a paw to his ear, he scratched his ears, yawing again. Small bursts of flame flew out of his mouth, but disintegrated into nothing in mid-air. Arcanine’s brown eyes looked down at Sol, thinking before asking, ”Since you’re so small, would you like a ride? I’m kinda hungry, I might go try to find some berries but I don’t want to leave you here alone.”

Dawn nodded."Well, if you really don't mind me traveling along with you, i'll be more then happy to come with you." she said with a nod. "Also,im ready whenever you are~ cant wait to see more this region." There was no telling what laid ahead of them,danger was most certainly there. Dawn had to keep that in mind,but how could she? she was to excited think about such things. When you think about it, it wasn't a bad thing." Wonder if this region have anything special for trainers..like the gym challenge. It wouldn't hurt making my pokemon stronger

All my life, i always worked. Bad childhood and such, i won't go into boring details." He wasn't the one to bring up his childhood unless he REALLY trusted someone

"Hm, I doubt there is any of that kind of stuff given that it was only recently discovered and it's said nobody lives here yet," he pointed out. He didn't mean to drop her hopes if she had really thought that this place had gym system or something set. He thought everyone had been aware that humans hadn't yet lived here yet though he still was concerned on how they got the tip of this place to begin with. It was one of the reasons he had agreed to come with though he hadn't voiced such concerns to anyone else before arriving. Besides, he knew he couldn't be the only one that was suspicious of this place to begin with. Glancing around the beach one last time at the remaining trainers, he took note of one woman. Her clothing stood out of all the others. She definitely wasn't some ordinary trainer, though what specifically she did wasn't something he could depict from her dress alone. His gaze soon returned to Dawn and he gave a nod. "Let us explore then." His words were simple as he pushed himself forward and began toward the forest line knowing it was the only way to go from the start.

"We can leave once Brighid returns," she responded plainly as she folded her arms over her chest. There was no point in leaving before the Arcanine returned anyways. It was the reason she had sent her off; to find the best direction to go in. After a moment or two of silence, Finley caught sight of the large beast emerging from the brush once more and trotting in her direction. A faint smile seemed to cross her lips. A rare sight for sure. "You have successfully found the best route?" The question received a quick nod from the canine before it lifted its head in the direction it had just come from. Giving her companion a nod, the officer began moving forward without a word. She figured her actions would say what she was doing and hopefully Leo would understand. Brighid was quick to follow behind her trainer once again, falling in step at her side.
