Giving a nod at her suggestion of him telling her if he ever did go to Sinnoh he gave a small smile. Normally he would figure out the place on his own, but maybe it wouldn't be too bad to have someone show him around for once. He had always been rather independent and it had caused him to become a rather quiet individual. Having someone else around certainly would change things. "I plan on exploring. You're more than welcome to join me. I think Pikachu is itching to get moving," he remarked as he glanced at the Pikachu on his shoulder. The electric mouse was antsy. He could tell by just looking at him. His gaze was on the forest and his tail twitched in anticipation. He felt bad for making his own Pokemon wait, but he felt that if he went off on his own that would set a bad example though he was certain he would be just fine if he did. Besides, some company would be good for him. It would spare him having to mumble things to his Pikachu.

"Nobody is picking who you go with. You can go with whoever you want just don't go off alone," she replied, deciding to ignore his comment about all the champions having the same authority. They may have all been the best in their regions, but by no means did that give them all the same authority. That was her own opinion though. By no means did she look down upon any of the others for their skill, but age and experience did play factor in terms of who was calling the shots. It already had seemed obvious to her that Gold had called the shots thus far. It had been him to say they were breaking in to pairs and such. It didn't seem like anyone had really listened, but she figured that people were either preparing or they had too big of an ego on them to listen to the teen. Honestly, she didn't like taking orders from him either, but he was experienced and she respected that.

Nodding slightly, he rubbed the back of his neck. It didn't really bother him that she was a bit strange. He couldn't say he wasn't strange either. Maybe strange wasn't the right word to describe him. Awkward or cold fit better. "No need to apologize. I can leave you alone if you want," he managed to say, though his voice had become much quieter. He felt as if was pushing her into speaking with him. For someone who was relatively quiet he knew how that could feel. He didn't want to be a bother if she would prefer to be alone for awhile to try and recover from whatever she was currently feeling. Maybe it would be best for both of them. She could have some peace and quiet and he could go take a nap or something and avoid actually getting anything done like he was expected to do.

Faye nodded, observing both Kasai’s and Kif’s released pokemon. Once Kasai’s Sylveon was released, Shadow lost it, bounding the around the white and pink blob. Whenever any of the eeveeloutions were released around her Umbreon he’d always go crazy, bounding around them and playing with them. Of course, there were some exceptions on when he’d encountered a Jolteon and the electric eeveeloution shocked him for getting too close. Faye turned back to Kif, realizing how similar their teams really were. ”Yeah, I guess so.. And your Suicune, a very beautiful creature if I do say so myself.” She smiled, feeling a soft vibration from her belt, removing the pokeball that vibrated. It seems that Blaze wanted to be released. It’d be very out of place if she were to release the ten foot six ledgendary. ”As much as I’d like to keep it contained, Blaze want’s to play. I hope you two and your pokemon don’t mind too much. I’ve been keeping it inside it’s pokeball for a while.” She apologized before turning to the large space behind her and pressing the white button on the center of the pokeball, releasing the large, white pokemon.

After removing herself from Sakura, Zara handed her a berry, earning a purr of a sort from the Latias. Zara smiled, taking steps forward. Being on the boat make her legs feel like jelly so her first few steps were shaky. Acting fast, Sakura quickly zoomed forward, circling her trainer, the air pushing Zara back up straight. A giggle escaped her mouth as she started towards Acrea's wilderness. "Where do we go first, Sakura? Left or straight?" She questioned, quickly seeing a trainer not far ahead of her. Zara remained behind said trainer and turned to her companion, gently patting her forehead.

A laugh emerged Arcanine’s mouth. ”Arc? I’ve never heard that nickname before,” he laughed. It felt good to laugh, seeming as he’d been alone for the longest time on this island wherever he was. He’d heard the rustling around of other pokemon around him, but he never searched for the creators of that sound.

Cubone waddled through the forest, looking all around her, momentarily forgetting about her anxiety. She soon remembered though, and the forest seemed to hear her thoughts. Trees seemed to lean over her, promising fear, and the bushes seemed to rattle on purpose. She braved through the forest anyhow, trying to ignore these details that continued to make themselves known. For a second, Cubone could see patches of light shining through the dense shrubs and trees. She pretended not to see it. She fixed her thoughts, looking for extra shelter, food, maybe even something pretty! She decided that scary thoughts were tiring, and that eating wasn't, so without much thought she waddled around looking for some berries. Cubone loved all flavors, so whatever she finds is a win-win for her.

Solgaleo flushed a bit when he laughed. "Well I've never heard of Sol as a nickname for me either. Probably because no one has ever nicknamed me...," they said, becoming quiet at the last part so Arc wouldn't hear. They stared at Arc's mane for a second, 'I wonder if his fur is soft...'. Solgaleo hadn't really encountered soft things often, only blankets. Because of his actions at the base, Pokemon tended to avoid them, small and tall.

"Not many here know each other yet I don't see anyone else complaining. It's as easy as talking to someone," she said, a tinge of annoyance coming through in her voice at his words. "And no. Your Pokemon don't count." Why had she even gone to look for him if he was going to act like this now. It had been a waste of her time. By using his logic pretty much anyone strong enough to protect themselves could run off on their own yet she wasn't taking off for the forest alone. If he really had a problem with pairing up with someone then he could just run off on his own and do what he wanted. She wouldn't follow him this time if he did.

Looking around in awe, Blaze let out a small roar. Lowering it’s head down to examine the trainers and pokemon below it’s eye level. It’s blue eyes stopped on Kif’s noticing his awe. It’s mouth turned into a slight smile, nudging it’s trainer gently. Faye laugjed softly, reaching up and stroking Reshiram’s nose. A high-pitched squeak released from Blaze at the affection it was recieving. ”I met it when I was in the sky. I once had had a friend from Kanto that owned a Dragonite and they took me into the sky. And then bam, there it was. It was one of the best moments in my pokemon career,” Faye explained rather proudky. ”How did you two meet Rayquaza and Suicune?” The Unova champion was actually rather curious on the subject. Pretty much all of the champions had some sort of ledgendary, and she wanted to know how they all met. ”Umbreon!” [Hiya! I’m Shadow!] Umbreon stood still for a minute, it’s large ears flattening.

Indentation The shorter girl had a difficult time attempting to groom her Mudsdale, though that didn't discourage her one bit. Biting her bottom lip and sighing heavily, she finally decided that the job she had done was good enough, and he didn't seem to be complaining at all about the attention he was receiving. Reaching into her backpack which she had set on the ground near her feet, she crouched low and opened up the jar filled with Pokebeans that was stashed underneath a few random necessities strewn about the bag. Grabbing two purple beans and a rainbow one--some of TJ's favorites, she unconsciously slipped the treats to the large Pokemon who nudged her anxiously in demand for more. "No. You're at your limit for the day. You've already had like fifteen thousand." Chevy huffed, stuffing the jar back into her bag before zipping it and throwing it over her shoulder. "Let's get going, shall we? Maybe we can see what those trainers are up to." Though Ty-Jo wasn't the smallest or stealthiest Pokemon, she made sure to keep him out in case a hasty escape was needed. Besides, it's not like she couldn't call out some of her other companions to assist her.

Indentation Finding himself entranced with the constant waves of the ocean lapping at the toes of his boots, he was careless enough to ignore the drop of a pokeball from his belt, splitting open and revealing his empoleon, Kodiak, who had invited himself out with reckless abandon. He was quite a surefire one, and even Edrick sometimes had a difficult mission trying to retrieve him back to the ball. Doomsday hadn't been one to enjoy the company of others, and hastily retreated back into his ball with a paw at Edrick's leg. Understanding the Houndoom's lack of enjoyment of interacting with others, he crouched low in the sand and watched with a heavy yawn as his starter penguin pokemon wandered through the waves, sometimes chasing them and running away from them like the dork he was.

Indentation Though she wasn’t much of a people person, she knew when to have manners when it came to others. She had turned her head to speak to the Johto Champion, quickly distracted by the Kanto Champion falling into the dirt directly next to her. Vi ran her slender fingers across Ho-oh’s feathers in a thankful manner, using her expressive body language instead of words, since it was obvious the legendary would understand that. Moving herself away from the large group of trainers, she couldn’t help but ask herself why she was chosen for this mission. She didn’t have the strongest Pokémon, she wasn’t the best trainer. If anything, she was actually quite horrible in battle, though that never stopped her. She was more of a problem-solver than anything, and found herself looking among the other trainers as if they were children, even if some were the same age as her, one she noticed was older, though she didn’t care to focus on the preliminaries. Tapping a pokeball gently, she smiled softly as her Manectric, Lux, paced around her protectively, watching the others with a keen eye.

Indentation Though the boy was lazy, he didn’t forget to thank the legendary Pokémon, grinning as he dismounted and stretched his legs, looking around him with wide eyes. His Rapidash was soon released and stood stiffly beside him, soon calming as he brushed his tan palm against her neck, calming the gentle beast with his own touch. He understood her feelings about other Pokémon, and took this time as a good sign to introduce her to more crowded areas. Though, if Sunray got too overwhelmed, he’d gladly return her to the pokeball and bring out another, maybe none at all if he felt like it.

Emerging from the woods with a slightly better idea of the layout of this part of the island, thanks in part to Arsene's watchful gaze from the sky, Noa made his way back to the others. Specifically, he made his way over to the woman he had followed, the same person who had in turn been following after a foolhardy trainer who seemed to possess no ability to tame the great Solgaleo. That much wasn't truly surprising, as the legendary beast that devours the sun was not something that could be trifled with. It also volumes of the boy(and there was truly nothing else Noa could call someone so reckless) and his inability to understand what truly drove a pokémon. Perhaps he was wrong to think that, but Noa could only see a child trying to play with a power beyond his comprehension until proven otherwise.

That was why he did something he would likely not do at any other time, walking up to the woman(Caitlyn) after realizing so many others had been starting to pair up to traverse into the wilderness. With a clearing of his throat to disguise any sort of awkwardness to the situation he was about to put himself into, Noa got straight to the point instead of dancing around with his words. "Would you.....that is, would you mind......accompanying me? We do have to explore the region, and I'd feel a tad bit more comfortable if I had someone as capable as you seem to be......er, helping me out. Y-you don't have to...yeah." It was strange. When he needed to act the part of a mentor of sorts, Noa could be rather eloquent. Put him into any other situation and he choked up. It was especially true when it came to asking for help, as he had to choke on his pride.

Solgaleo panicked himself, thinking that he might have offended him. "Ah, no! It's just... I was thinking how lucky I am to have found someone nice?" he said, trying his best not be embarrassed. He looked around the area and noticed a lot of burnt grass. Trying to change the subject, "How long have you been here alone? I've only been out in the wild for a few days, a week at most."
