- Nobody seemed to be making a move yet. He couldn't see how they could just be standing around doing nothing when an entire region was waiting to be explored. He felt like he was ten again and getting ready to set off on his journey in Johto with Cyndaquil at his side. He hadn't felt this kind of excitement in a long time it seemed. Ambipom seemed to pick up on his hidden excitement and jumped down yet again before scampering toward the edge of the forest. Stopping for a moment, he looked back at his trainer before giving a wave of his tails and darting into the dense brush. A small smirk came across the teen's lips before he looked over his shoulder at Erika. She seemed content in the moment, but he figured a bit of fun would be just right for her. Gently grabbing her wrist, he pulled her forward. "Come on, let's get a move on," he told her as he guided her toward the forest. He didn't care if any of the others joined them or not. It was their choice when they wanted to get moving anyways. He had already told them what to do and all. If none were interested in joining him then he would just get moving on his own and see what this place had to offer.
Once they were far enough into the forest and caught up to Ambipom, Gold let her wrist go and looked down at his Pokemon with a childish grin on his face. "It's been a long time since we adventured now isn't it Ambipom. I knew you wanted to get going and have some fun again," he chuckled at the monkey Pokemon with a small shake of his head. Ambipom clapped its paws together before looking toward Erika with a questioning look. Gold could tell he was wondering why he had brought her along. It was as if the Pokemon didn't think she could have any kind of fun. "Be nice Ambipom. We're gonna have a good time and she is gonna be with us. Don't be a brat." The Pokemon scuffed at his words before turning away. Shaking his head, Gold knew he would just have to let his partner be. He had other things to worry about anyways. Exploring was their number one priority. Turning toward the other Johto trainer, the champion rocked back on his heels. "So which way do ya wanna go?"

- Looking at Charizard momentarily, he gave a small nod to his Pokemon before it burst off into the air and began flying back toward the ship to retrieve the bag. Watching the Pokemon for a moment, he almost missed Dawn's first question. He hadn't really been expecting it. "Kanto has been alright. I've been in Alola on vacation the last little bit though,' he replied. He was in Kanto every so often, but normally only Pallet Town to visit his mother or Professor Oak to see if he needed some kind of help. Traveling around would gain too much attention and that was the last thing he wanted back home. Sometimes he wished he could travel the region again and go unseen. Dawn's next question put a small smile on his lips though. It wasn't often that he got asked about such things anymore. Maybe because it had happened years ago. "I did, though they did try to come back in Johto until Gold stepped up with the help of Lance and disbanded them for good. Their leader never made an appearance then though." He had to give Gold some credit for taking down the leftovers of Team Rocket, though Giovanni had been the real threat which he had dealt with on his own journey. In his few moments of talking, Red hadn't noticed that his Charizard was already on its way back with the bag in hand. "What about Sinnoh? I apologize that I don't know much about it, but how is it?" He barely knew a thing about the region. He had met Cynthia on his travels and all, but beyond that Sinnoh was a mystery to him. As he finished asking the question, the fire type swooped down and landed beside him with the bag in hand.

- As Riley came to a stop, the Hoenn champion looked down at him with a quirked brow. She knew something wasn't right if her Pokemon was coming to a stop. "Something wrong Riley?" she asked as she crouched down beside him. The Pikachu tapped his nose as if to tell her that he had lost the scent. With a soft whine he ran over to the closest tree and began to climb up. Once he reached the lowest branch, he waved a paw for his trainer to follow. Shrugging her shoulders, Caitlyn climbed back to her feet and jumped up to grab the branch and pull herself up. She wasn't entirely sure what her Pokemon was trying to accomplish, but she trusted him. Continuing to climb her way up into the tree, she can to a stop as the branches started to thin out and become impossible for her to stand on. The view certainly was something though she couldn't see the trainer or even the beach for that matter. "Great, we're lost aren't we?" The Pikachu gave her a sad look before pinning his ears back in disappointment.

- Watching her stand up, the boy felt awkward staying in his crouched position. Standing back up, he glanced sideways at Lopunny who seemed to be smiling at the girl. He never understood why his companion was so cheery, but he wouldn't question it now. "I suppose traveling with others isn't bad," he remarked. He had occasionally traveled with others though parts of his journey had been alone of course. Back then rather enjoyed the companion unlike now when he rather be alone and not be bothered with others. He knew it was because he felt like a big letdown. He had been expected to be a champion yet he had failed and everyone made sure to make him aware of it. The boy who took down Team Flare yet couldn't become a champion. It was rather sad. Shaking it off, Calem rolled his shoulders back and tucked his hands into his pockets with a faint smile on his lips. A smile itself was a rarity for him, but he was attempting to at least be nice. When she introduced herself, he gave a curt nod of respect. "My name is Calem. I originally am from Kalos, though I currently reside in Orre for certain reasons." He knew it wasn't common for people to go to Orre. It was an overlooked region which is what made it perfect for him. It allowed him the quiet life he wanted so he could hide from everything that was back home in Kalos. He knew there were people that wanted him to go home, yet he continued to disappoint them.
