"Well, I'm not quite sure, I always just assumed she was in one of those newfangled body modification cults, I never bothered to ask. But she's a nice girl, really." The wrinkled old man answered. He had seen enough of those 'body modification' cults, although he didn't quite understand them himself. He had a single tattoo-it was a picture of a bear-man crouching down on a stone and releasing a handful of leaves on the wind, and the leaves turned into a bird eventually. A small sparrow. It was a beautiful work of art and complimented his beep chocolate skin, but he didn't know why it struck him when he saw it. Feeling rather awkward now, not really knowing what to do, David was just about to hail the girls over to him so that Christolph could ask them himself, but then a burly and deep voiced teenager strolled up to them, deeply tanned and with shaggy black hair. "What's up?" The stranger asked in a scratchy and deep voice-as if he hasn't used his voice for a while. David chuckled when his Germanic friend answered "Clouds und sky." It was a silly answer to him-he thought that he was simply making a joke and not actually serious about it. David stepped forward a bit, holding out his callused and wizened paw of a hand. "I'm David Marshall, you might know me as the town's practical Grandpa. And as for what's up, I'm escorting this stranger to the post office. He's new in town. Now, kiddo, may I know you're name?"
