(( PetCrazy, Please don't back out of this just because my character is a vampire; trust me, I have been rping for a very long time, and I have no desire for this rp to turn into a 'vampires versus werewolves'. I am far more intrigued by the idea of my character interacting with felines...the last time Christolph had a run in with a cat, he thought it was so cute and picked it up...where it took him as a threat and shreaded him up to pieces. I even drew a picture of it HERE

((It's not that there is a vampire and a werewolf, either one by itself and I'd have to quit. My mom wouldn't want me to play on a RP with that kind of stuff.))

[If you want to back out, that's fine. Crimson, I hope you don't mind if I don't put your entire form on the front page.]

(( PetCrazy, I'm sad to hear this but it is completely up to your guardian if they do not find such a topic to be acceptable for you to join. I would have chosen another character if it would have helped, but seeing that it wouldn't then *inserts huge frowny face with a pout*. I wish there was something that could be done to change this :(

Wildmagic_warrior, could you just add some '......' after like a paragraph and include something at the bottom or top like 'full charrie sheet included on original post'? This way it is shorter for the base sheet, and doesn't turn into a double eyesore.

[Thank you. I think we have enough characters to start, but don't get too far ahead as I have a band concert tonight and won't be able to be on much.]

Maxine Cooper rose from her small brass bed as the sun rose above the horizon, yawning as she took a long, hot shower. By the time she was dry and dressed, she was fully awake and ready to leave for work. She locked the door as she left the house, cursing quietly as the corner of her green t-shirt got stuck in the door. She pulled it free and slammed the door, locking it a second time. It was a fine midsummer day, and although the sun beat down mercilessly, there was a tiny breeze to ward off the scorching heat.

David, being the early bird he was, was already out, enjoying the cooler morning air before the sun got to hot and he would have to retreat to the dark and cool den which he so despised. It made him think of past prison cells and less of that beautiful house on a Virgina beach he had always dreamed of. He was dressed in light, khaki colored slacks and a blue and white striped polo shirt, as per usual. Seeing the young woman across the street, Maxine, which he was so fond of, he slowly got up and leaned against the porch-rail. "Hello, Maxine!" He called in his worn but energetic voice, raising one wrinkled leather-skinned hand. It was not clear why he liked this young woman-but she probably reminded him of a friend when he was younger.

((I'm really sorry that you have to quit... :( ))

Hunter yawned, showing the huge, glistening fangs inside his wolfen maw, and stretched leisurely, emerging from the den he dug between the roots of an ancient oak. Pricking his ears, he heard the slamming of a door and a weathered voice speaking to someone else. It must be those humans, he thought, thinking of the suburb near his forest, with their lazy humans. These get up early, he noticed. How strange. He shook his head, shaking out his russet brown fur, and trotted toward the river, which marked the boundary of his territory. Dipping his head to take a drink from the crystal clear water, he glimpsed a common house cat wandering toward him. He snarled and chased the nuisance from his forest, back toward the human community. It wasn't so much that it was a cat-such a silly myth, really-, but more that it was in his territory, which he guarded with his life.
Signature under construction. I might get around to it within a century.

"Good morning, David!" called Max, waving at him. He was sort of like a kindly grandfather, to her and most of the others in this small community, since most of them didn't have a family of their own. She looked up at the sky and smiled slightly- it was going to be a nice, cloudless summer day. She passed David's house and came up to the one belonging to her friend, Sonja. She rapped smartly on the door, and a tall girl with golden-brown hair opened it, looking as if she had just been planning to come out. "Oh, good morning!" she said brightly, braiding her hair quickly and tying it up. "I was just thinking of going down town for a special breakfast- want to join me?" Max grinned. "Sounds good. You know, I had the strangest dream last night." Sonja raised her eyebrows, motioning for Max to continue. Although she looked younger than her friend, the taller girl was, in reality, somewhere close to twenty-four years old. A pair of small blue horns poked through her hair at the top of her head, something that most people found odd but didn't mention. "Well," said Max, "I was on an island, and there was a forest." The two friends started walking towards the city square, where Tina's Hometown Cafe sat on the corner of Birch and Main. "And I was looking for something to eat. I think I had a spear, and I was hunting it. It was dark, so I could see much. And then this giant cat leaps down from the trees and starts chasing me, and as I run past some brambles I cut my leg, trip, and it's looming over me... and then I woke up, but I noticed this." She brought one foot up and held it in her hands as she stood on one leg, pointing to a thin scar on her right ankle. "And I wonder, do you think such a thing could really have happened?" Sonja shrugged, then laughed. "I don't think that's even possible. You'd remember, if it had."

Flower boxes and curbside containers overflowing with geraniums, petunias, and other annual selections befitting the summer season graced the walkways of this delightful small city for any passerby to enjoy; freshly painted vintage street lamps, banners announcing the bicentennial celebration, and even the details of every quaint little store sign…yes, this city had its endearing charm. Even the fine weather permitted residents to dress according to their tastes (whether to celebrate or tolerate it), but like a Scrooge before Christmas there was at least one man sticking out far worse than a sore thumb.

Walking down the street like an undertaker on steroids was a man almost entirely in black…and ‘man’ was a generous understatement…he was absolutely huge in both stature and muscular bulk; a bold statement in masculinity (‘bold’ as in the siren of an ambulance). Wearing a deliciously tailored black suit with red pinstripes, crimson shirt, black tie, leather gloves, black sunglasses, black fedora, and handling a matching briefcase in one hand and a folded paper in the other; the burly individual could have been anything from a hired hitman to a very intimidating lawyer. Being that most of his skin was covered, aside from his sheer size one could examine his face (if they dared) to see that his features were well chiseled, and he had short blonde hair that was slicked back.

Rounding a corner, Christolph’s concealed gaze focused in on an elderly gentleman leaning against the railing of his domicile as if he had just recently spoken to a familiar face. Sauntering up to the foot of the porch like a tired old buffalo, the burly German slid the piece of paper into his pocket, placed the now empty hand to his chest, and lightly bowed with a thin smile. “Pardon me…but could du direct me vhere ist ze…post office?” His deep thickly accented voice was obviously having trouble adjusting to the English language, and for a man so intimidating as Christolph…his confused expressions were a bit adorable.

David took a long look at the hulk of a man standing almost level with him, even with David being up on his high porch. He fixed his glasses and peered for a moment more, and honestly, this man scared him a bit. However, he would withhold information for such a silly purpose. "Well, sir, the post office... You go down to the end of this road..." He pointed back towards the main center of the small country town. "And right next to the Amish Market," But then he stopped, remembering he had always been a flop at giving directions. Everyone got lost when he did. Besides, he needed to pick up some food-it's not like someone would do that for him. David's wrinkled and heavy face smiled. "Actually, Howabout I lead you there? You'd get lost if I tried to direct you." He chuckled lightly and made his way down the stairs of his porch, the bending of his knees obviously stiff and partially painful, but his overall movement limber enough for a younger man. He also realized why he probably wanted to lead the man there, besides for his inefficiency at directions, was because he was lonely. Despite him being like a grandfather to many people here, he lived alone, and nobody much came to visit him-it was a bittersweet feeling to think of it-he had used to be the center of all the parties when he was a young'un.... But those where bad days. He banished the thought from his mind and instead focused on the warm feeling of the sun draining down into his dark skin and the hulking German man in a red and black pin-striped suit who stood next to him, awaiting a reply.
