Alex stared at him uncertainly. "I don't want to go," she thought aloud. But she knew she had to. Her mother would be frantic if she wasn't home soon. She shrugged mentally.

Kevin looked at her for a long time.
"Why do you have to? You could just stay over." he laughed at the idea.

[Ockias]

B. R. looks out the window and groans, "Why can't the snow just go away?!?!"

"There's a thought," she laughed. Her mom would have kittens if she knew she'd stayed the night with someone of the opposite gender. "I could, however, say that I'm going to visit my dad, and like you said, stay the night," she said thoughtfully.

"You should." he smiled, sitting on the leather couch.

Alex bit her lip, studying him for a moment, before hesitantly asking, "Are you sure?"

Kevin smiled.
"Yeah."

Alex smiled back and took out her cell phone. She send a text to her mom, explaining that she was visiting her dad for the night. When the message was sent, she snapped her phone shut with a sly smile. "There," she said, walking to sit beside Kevin on the couch.

Kevin grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. He then moved closer to Alex and put his arm around her.
"So," he smirked at her, "what do you wanna do, baby?" he laughed at his failed suave skills.

Alex attempted to stifle a laugh, and failed. "Hmmm," she said, resting her head against his shoulder. "I dunno." Her mind was blank. All she could think about was that kiss... She smiled to herself.
