Alex grabbed her drink-- hot chocolate, not coffee-- and gazed around for a place to sit. All tables were full, except one, far in the back, that was occupied by the girl with the brown hair that had walked in. Alex walked over, then asked awkwardly, "Er-- do you mind if I sit? Everywhere else is full."

Emilie

Emilie looked up from her book to see the girl standing in front of her. By the smell of the drink she was holding, it was hot chocolate. Her eyes wandered the cafe and noticed all the tables were full. She nodded quietly.
"Sure." her soft voice said.

Kevin

Kevin's soft pads ached as his legs wandered. He didn't like running in this part of the forest much. His breath was heavy as he quickly transformed into his human form, brown hair perfectly in place. He wore a grey V-neck shirt with a black button-up jacket. His tight pants displayed how tiny his legs were.

He walked into town with confident swag, he knew ever nook and cranny of this small place. The cafe greeted him warmly as he opened the door.

"Thanks," Alex said, sitting down. Just as she raised the cup to take a drink, the door opened again, and she turned to see who had entered.

Emilie

Emilie looked as well, and saw a boy about their age, maybe older. The way he walked told her that he lived here. She wasn't really interested in him.
"By the way, I'm Emilie." she almost whispered.

Kevin

Kevin looked over to the table in the corner with a glint in his eye. Two girls sat there, one caught his eye.

The guy that had just walked in made her stiffen. He was a Were, that much she could tell. Also extremely good-looking, she thought, feeling her cheeks grow a bit warm. Shaking herself mentally, she said to Emilie, "Alex. Nice to meet you."

Emilie

"Nice to meet you too." she said. She noticed Alex's cheeks grow red at the sight of the guy who had walked in.
"What's with him?" she asked softly again.

Kevin

Kevin noticed her cheeks redden and smiled sweetly in return. He noticed an empty table across from theirs and sat promptly. He then set his gaze on the girl again.

Alex suppressed a giggle. Why she was acting like a moron, she didn't know. She could feel his eyes on her and fought to control herself. "Er-- I dunno," she admitted, green eyes meeting green eyes as she glanced at him, then darted away.

Kevin

Kevin snickered to himself and looked down at the table. He pulled out a cell phone from his pocket to make it look like he was interested in something other than the girl.
"Hmm..." he gazed down at the screen. It was black.
"Dead." he growled, then crushed it easily in his hand.

Emilie

Emilie looked at him, then looked down at her book. Something was odd about him, but she didn't know what.

Alex decided to distract herself. "What book are you reading?" she asked, resisting the urge to glance at the male Were again.

Kevin

Kevin frowned when she looked away. He rolled his eyes with a laugh and stood, going to stand in line.

Emilie

"I'm not even sure..." she looked at the cover with distaste. "A mystery novel." she grumbled.
"I'd rather be reading something about animals... Mostly wolves." she giggled.
