“Well my name is Buffy. These are my friends Xander and Willow.” Buffy said. She wondered where this guy came from since she hadn’t seen him around before.

"My name's Lincoln, I'm from this place called Afterlife, It's in the mountains, It's also called Lai Shi." Lincoln told her. "I'm an Inhuman."

“Inhuman huh? So are there a lot of Inhumans?” Buffy asked. This didn’t sound strange to her in any way. She was just curious.

Willow and Xander both spaced out of the conversation, surely they would hear about it later in a summarized form, when it was explained to Anya and the kid.


Anya watched the boy. He seemed mature for his age.

“Inhuman huh? So are there a lot of Inhumans?” Buffy asked. This didn’t sound strange to her in any way. She was just curious.

"There are...Quite a few of us out there." Lincoln said then looked away and blushed thinking about Daisy. Shaking his head he looked back at Buffy. "So you and your friends, You encounter powered people a lot because this doesn't seem to phase you like it would others." Lincoln questioned.

“Powerful people? Yeah I guess. Witches, demons, vampires. This town is full of danger. Me and my friends are the only ones who can keep the town safe. From most threats anyway.” Buffy replied, thinking about Spike.

Daisy looked around. This town seemed small compared to Afterlife. Better not use my powers too much, or at all. she thought. Last thing she wanted to do was cause an earthquake. She past by a house when she heard...Lincoln? Hesitant, she walked in. The door was open anyway. She smiled seeing Lincoln. “Hey Lincoln!” She said. She turned to the gang and smiled. “Hey. I’m Daisy. Lincoln is a friend of mine.” She said, blushing as she looked away for a moment. A friend? Most of the time I think we are more than just friends. she thought.

Willow registered her and spaced back in, "A person actually approaches us? They aren't running away screaming, 'It's those crazy folks that are always in dangerous situations that I think that they cause sometimes!"?" Willow said sarcastically. "But seriously, why so many random folks approaching us?" she asked Xander. Xander shrugged.


Anya had him work the desk for a little bit. The kid was really good with calculations and money. Odd.

"Hey Daisy," Lincoln said smiling at her, he took out his sewing kit and stitched up his knee before pushing himself to his feet."Buffy, Buffy's Friends thank you for not killing me, we should be going." Lincoln said to Buffy, Xander, and Willow.

Xander and Willow nodded a goodbye. Xander announced that he was going to head over to the magic box. Willow had nothing to do, so she decided to follow him. They asked Buffy if she was going to come.

"Where's you learn how to work the register?" Anya asked Kay. He shrugged.

“Yeah sure.” Buffy replied following her friends out and locking the door behind her. “I wonder how Anya is doing with the kid.” She added.

“Well I guess it’s nice to get out once in a while. Still not sure how we ended up here.” Daisy said. “Any ideas on how we can get back?” She asked, not too bothered if Lincoln had no idea yet. Maybe they could help people here....somehow.
