"It's a different one, somebody else got a hold of the Butterfly Brooch from the Gaurdian. How I still need to figure that out. But I know that for a fact.", the teen shook her head.
Then she blinked.
"Y-you..you want to help me?", repeated the bluenette teen in disbelief. The girl knew that this probably should not have come as a surprise considering where she was now. Roux Long had taken a rather large risk in bringing the crow home. The first out of several that made Adrianna confused as to if she should be touched at his faith in her good intentions and willingness to help her. Or angry about his reckless carelessness with his Miraculous's and family's safety. Especially now with Hawk Moth and Screech on the loose. The feather-clad girl could have easily been an enemy and turned on him after all. Though what was really bothering Adrianna at the moment was what Roux Long' s words brought to the forefront of her thoughts....a couple simple words sending her head reeling. The dragon's offer for some reason was implying something more then just helping with Hawk Moth, much more. And the male didn't know it but that was what was truly shaking the green eyed girl to her feet. Those implications.... Vulpine helped Nightingale on occasion yet what the new hero was actually suggesting in fine print? "Answer me one thing Roux Long-how for sweet Miraculous sake?", Adrianna asked in a low voice, "How can you seem to understand me with lucky guesses? Why are you showing me so much trust when we just met and I have showed you none? Why respect my wishes during the fight despite your own, then help me find a safe place to hide for a bit while my Kwami refuels on top of it? I don't trust others so easily.....never have or will! On top of that Hawk Moth is dangerous Roux! He managed to get his hands on Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses the first time he was in Paris years ago! The Crow Hairpin is the proof of that!" But at the same time she mumbled "Nightingale and Roux Long" under her breath tasting the trio of words on her tounge. There was nothing wrong with the trio. In fact they sounded right together. Yet when Roux Long warned he was coming into the room, Adrianna bolted. The girl made a dive for the nearest cover she could find in the dark....in other words a pile of boxes that she could crouch behind. Well more like tripped and fumbled-dove for cover.
