Luckily where the male was leading her wasn't very far away. Nightingale stayed silent during the short trip to one of the buildings along a near by block. When Roux Long pushed a window open and gestured for her to go inside though, she paused. But her Miraculous urged her to listen to the dragon. The green eyed girl dropped in through the opened window landing in a crouch and rolling into the darker areas of the room. Just in time too because Nightingale's transformation gave out not a moment later. Adrianna had replaced the dark hero as she cupped her hands for her Kwami to land in.
Merrle moaned as she sat up in her Chosen's palms looking pointedly up at her. Her normally smooth feathers rattling slightly displeasure. "Cutting it a little close there this time. You know I can't keep the transformation up forever right?", huffed Merrle. Upon being presented with a small container of raw duck chunks though the crow was a blurr. The female Kwami zipped over to claim a spot on top of a box to settle and enjoy her food.
Adrianna rolled her eyes at her feathered friend's words as she chowed down. Her attention was redirected when Lance started speaking. Of course the dragon had stuck around keeping watch. Even if it had appeared on her radar the girl was too distracted to take notice of his blip. He was right to keep his distance though. Nightingale would have not liked him taking part in the fight with the bat. "Oh great so you saw me fail the second time....perfect. Just perfect.", Adrianna said taking a seat cross legged on the floor. Her stomach twisted in on itself but the young bluenette was convinced it was her worry about what Screech had said. "Why does it matter what has me worked up anyway? It's not like I believe Screech's sorry attempt at a bluff. Not when I know for a fact that his claim is impossible and there is no trace of truth to it."
