[OOC: Mike and Aoi have been chatting alot XD Jeckle just went to the coffee shop and Doc is talking to Echo on the phone about a song. That's all I know.]

Ryu claimed a small table for two and settled down his hot cup of hot chocolate on the smooth surface of the table. He seated himself and took off his jacket to cover the back of the chair and his arms free from the sleeves. He leaned back and pulled out a small notepad and a pen from his back pocket and he put an elbow on the edge of the table. With words already scratched out and jotted down on the paper he sighed at the sight of his progress but couldn't really get anything else down. Tapping the pen against the table a few times before putting it down to take a small swig of his cup.

Jeckle went up to the coffee shop and argued with the employee about putting alcohol in his coffee. Of course she wouldn't do it. So he had to settle for a regular iced coffee. He was going to sit down in the place but there weren't any seats except for a two person table minus one chair because someone was sitting in it with a notepad. The guy looked familiar to Jeckle. Jeckle, who's friends with Doc, had seen this guy before when he met the band that Doc was in(Things from Strangers). He sat down in front of the guy, "Ryu, isn't?" He asked. "Things from Strangers?" He laughed. He thought it was sort of ironic because to Ryu, Jeckle was somewhat of a stranger. "I'm Jeckle. Jeckle Tonic."

Ryu set down his already half empty coffee cup and his grey eyes looked over a guy that randomly sat down in front of him. "Yeah," He replied lightly to confirm his idenity. "Nice to meet you Jeckle," He nodded his head a little in reply to his greeting. He leaned back into his seat and began to wonder how Jeckle came across him when he hardly speaks to anybody.

"One of my friends is in your band." He smiled. Jeckle was always grinning for some odd reason. "Doc. That's how I recognized you." He said before taking a large sip of his ice coffee. "And there was no where else to sit." He shrugged. He took a small silver canister out of his inside vest pocket. It had the initials JLT on it. He poured it into his coffee cup and took another large swig and exhaled happily.

Mike looked at his clock. "I have to go perform. I'll be at the Pub downtown." he said. "It was nice seeing you." he smiled

"I see," Ryu replied and his gaze fell upon his notepad. He was already beginning to have the thoughts of giving up and hoping the rest of the band had ideas he could work with. He just wanted to play, thats what he knew and was never much of a writer. "You drink?" He asked curiously when Jeckle added something to his coffee. He already guess alcohol. What else would be hidden in a flask? But he could be wrong. Ryu could drink every once in awhile but not very often despite his age.

"Every now and again." He nodded. "That was more watered down though." He said, "Don't wanna be drunk in public." He laughed, "Again." He added. "So, how's the band going? I haven't talked to Doc in a while so I wouldn't know."

"Fine I guess," Ryu shrugged and wasn't really the type to get caught up in the band's drama. "I think we're all wracking our brains to figure out another song to play. It's the last thing I heard so that is what I've been working on with no luck." He finished and he gave his notepad a quick glance before closing his eyes to release a heavu sigh. He then opened up his grey eyes to watch Jeckle again, curious about his character but was the kind to figure out for himself.
