Grace smiled and looked down.

((Haha. I'll just look. It might end up being a little mixed up because, in the book, Grace woke up hearing something outside. She ran downstairs and Sam was outside the patio doors, bleeding from the bullet then he passed out and was sidated and taken to hospital. Then they escaped. Thats how Grace knows about his parents, his scared wrists, the wolves. All that stuff.))

♥~ Calla Tor ~♥

"Of course..." Calla muttered, looking to the empty driveway. She knew that this was how it was going to be most of the time. No parents. But there was often a house keeper who often came to look after the dogs, and that was mainly during the winter.

Calla lead Shay around back, making sure the fence was closed before letting her dog go. She looked back at the forest again, which was separated from her house by a chain link fence that reached Calla's waist. Calla looked down the poles, to see a gate there too, that could easily be opened from both sides. At least that would be good. That she could have easy access to the forest once winter began to take over.

She padded back inside with Shay on her heels. Calla heaved the large bag onto the counter and began putting things away. She knew she would need extra stuff, in case the change began earlier again like it did last year. Just thinking of it made her feel a bit better. That way she wouldn't have to go to school. Worry about her parents. She would only have to worry about putting her paws when running through the forest at midnight.

Calla sighed and flopped on the comfy couch. She flicked on the flat screen TV her parents had bought her and began watching some films while curled up next to Shay, eating dog treats.
