♥~ Calla Tor ~♥
Calla pulled her red hood over her head, and tied the matching belt around her waist so it wasn't all over the place. She clipped on Shay's leash and lead her outside. She could feel the slight change in the temperature now that it was darker out now. She pulled the bright hood more towards her face, as pushed her hair back into the cape. People back home had always teased her about looking like Little Red Riding Hood. But Calla had been fine with it, and she had often joked to herself, Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf now?
Calla looked to the woods for a few moments, before letting Shay pull her along to the sidewalk. Shay sort of knew about Calla's select, as that was one of the reasons she was so obedient. But Calla had also needed her parents to take care of Shay during the winter, and so her parents would usually just out of habit.
Shay sighed, hoping to remember where the store was when they first came into this neighbour hood. She actually surprised though, that in town it was really busy, but then here seemed much quieted. She wondered if it might be because of the woods behind most of houses, but she wasn't sure.
As Calla walked Shay down the street, yet again she felt the eyes of others on her. It made the hairs on her neck bristle, but she kept her eyes on the sidewalk. She needed to just concentrate on where she was going. She didn't need to worry about others.
Calla finally found the small store, right next to a bookstore. She had been walking for a quite while and wondered if there was a store closer to her house, but she thought this would be OK. Walking always seemed to calm her, as it tended to remind her of running through the woods as a wolf.
She tied Shay's leash to the outside bench, and opened the door to eh convenience store. She narrowed her eyes at the people who looked up, and quickly went to get some stuff. She grabbed bottles of both juice and pop, along with some candy and other treats. She grabbed dog treats too, along with some fresh fruits and veggies they had in the store. She went through the check out, buying a material bag instead of the weak plastic ones.
Calla sighed as she finally came out of the store, telling herself it hadn't gone that bad. Just a few people staring at her, and yeah...not so bad. Shay barked in greeting and Calla tossed her a treat before untying her Border Collie and walking home. This time they took a different way as Calla wanted to get used to the streets and such. Getting lost would definitely not help her. At all.
