Grace held her breath for a second. She wanted to come closer to the wolf, but she didn't move.

Sam kept his golden eyes fixated on the girl. he took another step forward but it was strongly against his instincts. His legs seized to go any further.

[H o w l i n g]

(Cool! I haven't read 'Linger' yet. Is it good?)

( Yeah. It's sad, though. )

Grace took a step forward. She could almost feel his breath on her wrists. She got out a steak that she took from the kitchen and placed it between the wolf and herself. She took a step back.

(Oh rightey, well, I'm going to get it for crimbo if its that last thing I do. )

Grace took a step forward. She could almost feel his breath on her wrists. She got out a steak that she took from the kitchen and placed it between the wolf and herself. She took a step back.

Sam looked at the steak then at the girl. He'd had no-end of steak but he'd take it anyway. He stepped forwards, yanking the steak away. The snow beneath now a crimson colour.

Grace held her breath. The wolf wasn't scared. She didn't move as the wolf took the stake.

(My comp keeps freezing on me!)

Sam managed to eat the steak quickly, 'wolfing' it down in two gulps. No pun intended. Sam raised his head to the girl, his golden eyes scanning every part of her and comitting it to memeory.
