Sam looked round at Tiffany and smiled, raising an eyebrow at her jumping.

Sam smiled. He sniffed the grass and was happy to feel it was real. He half-smiled then looked up and towards where Mallie had dissappeared to the other night.

Sam whined, remembering the girl-on-the-tyre-swing who he hadn't seen for a day now. He looked at Tiffany. He nuzzled her side so she had his scent to follow back across the lake. He then darted across the forest to the river where he cleared it with ease. He then started to through the forest.

Grace walked outside. She sat on the swing and looked at the forest. She was hoping to see the wolf again. She waited for him to show up.

Sam smelt the same familiar scent as he reached the edge of the forest. He walked to the edge, a ghost in the light. He sat at the edge of the forest and saw her. His heart skipped a beat.

Grace saw him. The yellow wolf eyes, looking at her from the forest. She wanted to get closer to the wolf. She sighed and looked at him for a minute, not moving.

Sam liked to just look at her. All these years of watching and never touching. It wa spainful but his instincts over ruled his human emotions. He stayed at the safety of the forest, stepping ever so slightly out of it.

Tiffany jumpd over the lkae and went into her den, she waited for the sun to come out so she could turn human.
