Sam was tired of walking but it was for good cause. Sort of.

Tiffany saw that Sam was tired and nuged him to lay down.

Sam looked at Tiffany then looked ahead. They could catch her later. He paused and nodded. He ran to a large tree for shelter.

Tiffany went to a tree and climbed it, still watching Mallie

Sam curled at the bottom, not bothering about Mallie. He rested his head and closed his eyes.

Tiffany looked at Sam and smiled. She fell asleep also.

Malie kept walking through the dark, she had a torch, she looked back, but there was no sign of the wolves. The temperature was dropping and she put on another coat.
