Damian tugged at the skin around the caribous' throat, the scarlet blood dying his black muzzle red. He kept a paw against the caribou as he yanked pieces of meat away from its bones.

{ celsius, I'm Canadian xD } He rubbed the backs of his arms and pulled down his sleeves. Then he noticed how Tikora looked absolutely freezing herself, and his eyebrows furrowed with concern. "Are you okay? There's complementary coffee over there-" he suggested, pointing out the little table with a coffee pot and styrofoam cups, "I'm getting myself some, anyway." Placing his sletchbook on the counter, he hopped off the stool and paused, waiting for Tikora.((Australians use Celsius too, it's cool :3))
Tikora nodded. "It was really fun. I didn't remember what it was like here while I was working on my tan," She said, smiling. "You know I've never left the country? Barely even the state. Ughh, I can't even remember what 20 degrees feels like." The girl's face almost dropped. She had travelled a fair few times, and loved to move around. Though, all of her travels had been traumatic ones where she had been captured and whisked away unwillingly, they were still enjoyable to some extent. It was a change, and change was good at times, like the change of the seasons. The thought of the warmth of her birthplace made her smile, her cheeks a rosy red colour. How she longed to return to her home, the place she never knew the name of but remembered clear in her mind. "I'm fine. Just not used to the cold here nowadays," she replied, eying off the coffee intently, "But...something warm to drink does sound nice. I'm parched." She followed meekly after him, wondering what this feeling was blossoming inside of her. Friendship? It was a feeling she hadn't felt in so many years it was difficult to name it such. Yes, friendship. Tikora had almost made a friend. The best way to celebrate would be with coffee, for sure.
((Terrible WB from me. Sorry))
