Kikina notices Lucinda fall. She turns to Thereus, "Is she ok?"

The Keenra erupted into black dust.

Thereus caught Lucinda and knelt to the ground. He slowly pulled out the dagger, trying not to let the poisons spread to fast across her body. He looked at her and said, "I can't tell if the poisons have taken affect or not."

[Somewhere Cold]

Lucinda opened her eyes. They were entirely silver with no whites or pupils. Her back arched in a painful spasm as she gave a bloodcurdling scream. The poison coursed through her veins, turning her skin to a slight blue color. "Help!" she gasped.

Evika heard a terrible screeching, it was horrifyingly familiar, but from where she knew it, she could not say. she shifted her form to a silver gray tabby cat and padded quietly forward toward the group, her fur still bristling from shock. She sat and watched intently, could any of them possibly be a shifter? that girl had called the other a shifter. Suddenly Evika jumped and hissed in shock at the sound of the girl's shriek of pain.

"Lucinda! Stay calm. I'm going to try and get rid of the poison," Thereus said as he held her to keep her from moving. He ripped off his right handed glove and gripped Lucinda's shoulder tightly.

[Somewhere Cold]

Lucinda locked eyes with Thereus for a moment and shot her thoughts into his brain. As an elf, mind connections were nothing to her. "The poison has no affect on me! It's the blade itself. Stygian iron is deadly to elf kind!" her body went limp and her breath came in tiny gasps. "The best way is to bleed me," she whispered into his mind.

He gripped the wound harder and focused his power.

Lucinda clenched her eyes shut and opened her mouth in a painful grimace. She hissed, a feral sound that elves only used as a last resort to show fear.

Kikina was amazed. Just this morning she was a basic woodland dweller. Now she had just fought the mythical Keenra, and was finding she was capable of things she never knew she could do. Overly overwhelmed and exhausted from the battle, her knees buckle, and she passes out onto the floor.
