Xaria threw her arms around him, sobbing into his chest. She had just lost the only family she had left.

Thereus, at first stunned, softened.
He patted her back with his big hand.
"I'm sure he was a great man."

Xaria nodded, calming slightly and pulling away, an embarrassed blush on her cheeks. "S-sorry..." She said, wiping away stray tears. "It must have been uncomfortable for you..." She apologised, not taking her eyes away from him. She didn't want to see her father's corpse again.

"Its fine. I know your pain. My family was killed when I was but ten," Thereus said to Xaria. "Sorrow can control the mind when they lose something important."
Years of sorrow filled Thereus's strong, kind eyes.

Xaria nodded, sighing. "Quinze... I needed to talk to him about her." She said, furrowing her eyebrows. She bit her lip. She'd need to arrange a funeral.

Mythril snorted and and pawed the ground when Evika shifted back to her normal form from the form of a silver and black wolf. Evika smiled and patted his shoulder, "I thought you were used to that by now" she murmured. Mythril swished his tail, she smiled again, "well, no more shifting for a while, there's a town up ahead, don't want anyone to know do we?" She mounted Mythril and urged him forward. Soon, A town came into sight and faint music drifted towards her. At the outskirts of town she dismounted and led Mythril into the town. She heard someone crying and stopped, it was the crying of someone who had suffered a great loss, she'd cried like that once, when she'd found her father dead.

Kikina was walking through town, thinking about what had happened earlier that day. When the guy had found out she was spying, she paniced, and turned into and eagle, and flown away. Now, she was regretting the decision that she made, for that could've been her only chance to get some answers. As she passes by a house, she hears a loud scream, and she stops walking, she walked up towards the house, not sure whether she should interfere or not. SHe stands there for a while, and then sees the guy from earlier run up to the house, she turns into a beetle before he can see her. Then, when he's inside, she turns back into a human. Kikina decides that she couldn't take not knowing anymore, and she goes up to the door, and knocks on it.

"Whatever you like," Thereus said, showing symphony.

Xaria bit her lip, looking at him. "Can you try something for me?" She asked, wondering if Quinze would affect him or if it was just her. If she was right, it was just her. She thought back to when she got it. Her father had warned her that day. This sword will teach you self-control, as it did me and my father before me.
