Clara woke to the tinkle of her phone's notification. A hand slowly stretched out from under the covers and grabbed the phone. She hissed slightly as the blue light stung her sleepy eyes. She had to fix that. Slowly, Clara rose to sitting position and tore open the curtains from her bed, letting the light stream in and dance off the particles in the air. A gentle breeze entered her small room, carrying with it the crisp pastry scent from the bakery a block away. She sighed contently, it was one of the reasons she choose the place when she moved not too long ago. It was a nice little place, away from the hustle and stress of The House.
Now that she was fairly awake, Clara pushed her blue streaked hair out of her eyes before staring at the device infront of her. She tapped on the message that was displaying it self on her screen. Her lips turned upwards in a half smile as she read what Celestia had to say. Celestia was one of the first people she'd met when she'd moved in a few weeks ago. Even though the town was supposedly small, it still felt large enough to Clara who'd previously spent the last few years hopping from place to place before being taken in by The House. It was large enough that Celestia seemed to endeavour to show Clara every nook and cranny. Clara smirked. Apparently she was Claire today.
Her fingers flew as she tapped back,
Morning Cel Tia ;P What about that cafe you said had the best muffins? Clara laughed inwardly at the nickname. She had always been the sort of person to give someone a nickname of some sort. However, she couldn't decided between Cel and Tia for Celestia and when Celestia didn't comment on either, Clara decided to merge the two. It didn't make much sense, but she found it funny.
She nimbly hopped out of bed and hurried to the bathroom. Knowing Celestia, she was probably already at her door and Clara didn't particularly want to be seen in her PJs. Within a few moments, Clara was ready for the day ahead. Hair pulled back in a high pony, jeans, tshirt and jacket, and a bag slung over her should containing the usual as well as a few concealed magician items. There was no way she would leave the house without those. Now, to see if Celestia had bothered replying to her text or was already in her yard.
